Saardulady My deepest condolences to you, it is an abnormal thing to have happen for someone to take his own life. But I think there are always two factors which play a part, one is a genetic inclination or predisposition and the other is environment which stems from an unhappy childhood, where deep seated emotions have been stored and not dealt with in a mature and appropriate manner. Thus not everyone who comes from an unhappy childhood commits suicide but everyone who commits suicide does.

After my brother's suicide death, it shook mye so much, that I turned my anger and frustration into something positive, and wrote a book, for the first time in my life about his death, called "The other side of suicide, a message of hope". Essentially suicide in my view is suppressed anger, and one thus needs to learn to talk about what is being suppressed in you heart or mind. Deal with that anger, and just talk and talk and talk, dont suppress anything. Good luck and God bless you.

@thereisariver me too! that was the first time i wrote a book, but mine was for my birth daughter, so she would know how much i loved & missed her, if i died before she grew up - my brother had a son the same age that he was not allowed to see for no good reason. it caused him deep anguish.
