one can hear the sound of the zoom and zoom's button, it's a pity.

@snogonesix If while youre recording a video it doesnt focus well or somthing, try zooming in and out. If you want to focus on close objects, before start recording select macro on and focus on the object then start recording

Wat u say when comparing with Wb500 as wb500 is dual image stabilizer and has wider lens but its only DIS and 27mm!!!!

You have to press the Mode button, then go to Scene and select Magic Frame. Then press the "Fn" button and you can choose the backgrounds by pressing the left or right buttons and then press ok

@TheCrazydaisy89 if you mean the Magic Frame Mode, you have to press the Mode button, then go to Scene and select Magic Frame. If you mean the Smart Filter Mode, you have to press the "Fn" button then go down to Smart Filter selection mode. Make sure to have face detection off :)

@LgFaver yes, for video shooting mode it has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and it takes micro SD cards like the memory cards of mobile phones.
