M-am uitat din obicei la apus pentru ca de obicei admir cerul , "avioanele cu darele alea albe" dupa ele pe care le vede si un copil de 5 ani("tati tati , a luat foc avionul ala de pe cer..."), rasaritul ca n-am de ales;trebuie sa ma trezesc dimineata si iar admir soarele si cerul!

Ma intereseaza si cum "bate soarele" pentru ca urmeaza sa montez un panou solar pe casa si "pana la experti" masor eu cat si cum bate soarele pe casa!

I just did this today! it's really really cool to see. this video is way better then the one i did. Good job. I was on top of mt. tom easthampton MA USA today. over an hour walk. It was cold. SOOO worth seeing it! thanks for the video. really a good job.

@kreatoru2003 sper sa-ti placa, eu sincer il prefer pe celalalt, un Bresser 10x50. Are camp mai larg si se poate tine in mana. Dar roiul dublu din Perseu se vede splendid cu Celestronul, la fel si Luna. Daca te orientezi usor pe cer e bunicel.

Very good video. I've ben observing Jupiter with moons with Fujinon 10x50 FMT-SX, and it looks marvelous. I've seen Venus as well, but never seen Mercury. Great stuff! Well done man.

The tripod is Triton FEX 1, the head is Triton PH 32. The tripod extends upward to a height of about 185 cm (plus head). I got them both for about 120 euros (the Celestron Skymaster cost me under 100 euros! ). It is very stable. Head movement could be smoother. It will resolve with use, but I guess a little oiling would also do the trick.

How is it at high angles (toward the zenith) ??

I'am trying to understand if that head would be good for a 20x80, they claim 5Kg of load, i think it would be.

Using a binoculars on a tripod will always result in rather poor performance at or near zenith. However, because of its adjustable remarcable great height, I can quite comfortably watch the sky at high angles (although I have 1,90m!). It's like watching bare-eyed up into the sky.

Cratere lunare mari si medii, masive muntoase lunare, pete solare (cu protectie adecvata), Jupiter cu cei 4 sateliti galileeni dar fara detalii de suprafata, roiuri stelare (roiul dublu din Perseu iti tai respiratia pe un cer intunecat), nebuloase (Marea Nebuloasa din Orion e cea mai spectaculoasa), stele duble "usoare" (gen Alcor-Mizar, Albireo e iarasi foarte frumoasa). Magnitudinea stelara limita e undeva pe la 8-9 pe un cer bunicel (fara Luna si lumini ambientale mari).

Mersi! E un binoclu bun, dar numai pentru astronomie, ziua are niste aberatii destul de suparatoare. Insa noaptea isi da drumul cu adevarat, cu o imagine mult mai stralucitoare decat un 10x50 de exemplu dar si un camp vizual mai ingust. Trepiedul a costat mai mult ca binoclul dar e super stabil tot aranjamentul (poate fi extins mult, eu am 190 si ma uit cu el la 40 de grade altitudine stand in picioare). Adaptorul livrat a fost din plastic dar l-am schimbat cu unul metalic.
