  • holy shit mine looks just like that one but amber color eyes and bigger shes about as big as my coonhound

  • He ist beautiful. I love Aussies

    Greetings from Germany

  • They are great dogs.

  • Good job......And Woobie is fantastic.

  • OMG that is sooo wierd i call my dog woobie too :D

i tohught i was the only one out there that called my dog woobie lol

    i guess im not alone!

  • Nice dog. I love my Aussie. Smartest dog I've ever owned. I only really have to tell him something once and he remembers it. I forget he's a dog and end up talking to him. They are loyal, active dogs. I'm likin' woobie.

  • Do australian shepherds do good with other dogs?

  • They can be a little aloof with dogs they don't know well, but they'll eventually warm up to them. :D

  • Sweet! Do you think they have as MUCH energy as people say they do? I want to get one but i'm afraid that while I'm at school no one will take it out and stuff. I do have an enclosed yard though...

  • They can be okay for long periods on their own, but they are very energetic and need a lot of exercise, at least one long walk each day. But the kicker is that if they don't get enough exercise, they can become agitated or even destructive. But they are also extremely loyal and are one of the smartest dogs out there. So yeah, if you have the time to give it the exercise it needs, then they're great dogs. If not, they may not be the best breed to get.

    Hope this was helpful. :D

  • Thanks!!!!

  • No prob. :3

  • As far as their energy goes: I kept mine inside (medium sized house) and then left 2 school and almost every day I came back, the house was made a mess!! She destroyed part of the wall and any papers she found she tore them to pieces! I did take her for long walks but that's just their nature if they get bored! I ended up giving mine to my uncle! I got a little sad but now she's happier for the good. :)

  • If you're still looking for advice, I think my aussie was a bit of the acception to the rule. He's pretty lazy most the time with on a few bursts of energy every now and again.

Energy isn't the main concern, keeping lint rollers in the house is. They (at least mine) sheds like no other regardless of how much I brush him. D:

  • I had an aussie, she was great with a couple of german shepherds my family had. Then there was this chihuahua that my brother owned, she was such a bully with this poor thing, even though she was only trying to play but she was a little rough with him.

  • i wish my aussie could roll over

  • i have a dog that looks like urs but for some reason he never barks

  • I have 2 wirehaired shepards, luckily they arent that energetic lol

  • getting one this weeks its my sisters..but guess who has to take care of it lol...that bark is bone chilling lol

  • well good luck with you new pup! mine was extra crazy that day because i hadnt played with him in awhile so hopefully yours wont bark like that. LOL! but you'll have fun with it. theyre really great dogs. and so smart too! :)

  • I'm going to be an Australian Shepherd breeder one day, they are awesome dogs =) Woobie is BEAUTIFUL and he looks so cute playing and doing his tricks!

  • My mothers next door neighbor has an aussie. She is the sweetest dog I ever met. And with more energy than I ever seen in a dog. Your Woobie is a very fine pet. He must bring much joy into your home.

Anyone thinking of having an aussie in their family must know it will require much attention and play time.

  • thanks! and YES, he's a wild child with all his energy, but is a sweetie. :) i spoil him rotten. :)

  • i like his name

  • he's a cutie. i have 10 aussies, a pug, and a border collie. they're not that well trained though!
