I dont think this is the right song for you.

Try a singer that has a lower tone of voice and i think you'll do better. I think your singing through your nose because the notes are high and dont feel bad because this is a really tough song to sing and theres others out there that cant. of the song with out listening to it you need to know the notes that includes the vocals and background. but you have to think most professionals have had life training so don't get discouraged you've got it. But you need to work on the areas where you have problems but don't over do it you don't want to have a raspy voice which means no smoking and orange juice in the morning and before you practice it clears the throat so that you don't have to and its better for you
