  • every sled is different tho. the Hammer Strength at my gym weighs 118 pounds. The most important thing is that you get a good workout, the number really doesn't matter.

  • Thank you, frothyshoes. I'll look. For now I'm just noting the weight of the plates in my journal.

  • Usually on the leg press machine, there is a sticker that states how heavy the sled is with no extra weights on it. The one at my gym weighs 120. Should be on there somewhere.

  • You'd be correct, the sled is about 45 lbs give or take. so yeah 8 plates is 405. And as already mentioned props for actually doing a full rep unlike many on this site.
