@TIPSYtheJUGGALO : There is no such word as "dume", so I'll assume you mean "Dune", Frank Herbert's novel. No, I'm afraid you are mistaken; there were no donkeys on Arrakis; not enough water.
And as for your unwelcome house-guest, why not just tell him to leave?
(PS: Yes, I know, you don't understand what I just said. Have an intelligent person explain it to you, much as a sighted person can guide a blind person.)
That was not a "transformer explosion", it was just an arc, followed by a fire. HERE is what a "transformer explosion" looks like, so you'll know from now on: watch?v=fzbQjd_Oo4Q By the way, it was a bad idea to put yourself under a burning power pole. If a transformer HAD been on that pole (there wasn't any, by the way; that was a burning insulator), and had exploded... well, how does 3rd degree burns over 90% of your body sound to you? (Transformers are filled with flammable oil.)
I live in seymour. i would like to know where that happened. i remember when we had that bad storm. actually we were on our way home and had to stop on i-65 because we couldt see. and when we got home the power went out.
I use to storm chase too. One time the power lines started arcing from the tree's touching them. The cars in front of me wrecked because they were looking at it and not paying attention to their driving. Another time I got cought in golf ball size hail and dented my truck up. I would do it today, but we have not had any good storms in the Houston area in a while. I sometimes wonder if someone has a device that causes them to break up when they get here.
lol probably just a coinsidence. It likely is the location in relation to the Polar Jet Stream that usually sets up in the Houston area. You guys usually get more storms in the summertime

@stormmoss : How about them Angels?
(PS: Yes, I already know that that was not a relevant comment. That's the whole idea. Look in your mirror. Duh.)
(PPS: I estimate only a 1% chance you will understand this comment; but I'll take that chance.)

Dang that Shows the Ture Froce the of the wind

Yes and the biggest point I have made with this was the fact that it was a downburst wind gust that did this. Not a tornado. Not a lightning strike
