I think that she sang live on the Live 8 Concert when she sang Hero, Don't Forget About Us, and Make It Happen. Now, I think that something is wrong with her voice, because on the parts where she sings, you can tell that it's hard for her. She should rest her voice for a little while.

yeah, since 2004 shes recorded 2 albums (and shes recording a third now) gone on a world tour and done lots of live performances, she should take out about 6 months and her voice will be back to at least the great 2005-2006 era. I love her anyway, and this performance was great!

Yes. What do you mean by, "where she came in was live"? The "take this seriously..." part wasn't lipped, but she did sing to a backing track. When the background singers come in at "that me for a ride..." Mariah changes registers and is singing slight slower and in her lower register. She did the same thing on Canadian Idol, but you can hear her better. Better sound system maybe?

I think that you should look at it in context of what the entire country was going through at the time... just one month after a horrible tragedy had occured that affected every individual in the US in some way or another. I loved this performance... it was soft and not overdone like some I've seen. I think it was beautiful and touching and it shows courage for her to get up there and sing after what we'd all been through...
