@acidglow when i try ranking, in example i wil be rank 18 and usually i play till i rank 3 times so i would be rank 21 but after i play for a while on friendly with new skins and turn off my ps3 (i know y not xbox) i get back on avp and im either rank 18 or 19!!???

Well it's been posted that consoles are no longer getting anymore support. Sad but I don't care. You can check the "steampowered" forums as PC users may still get future updates. That's the first place to get patch related news for AVP on PC.

This *glitch* does not work anymore since the Patch from April.. the last comment here is mine which says it's patched. Have to do it normal now. Anyone who did the glitch will get their rank reset to what it was before they did the glitch and they need to do the rest by normal methods via ranked. Mine was reset to my original rank 22 but then it only took me a week of playing to get it back to 43.

Its not working for me? I loaded up the wholelevel, played through it to th praetorian, after doing the matchmaking thing, and i played it like 6 times, it wont do it ? any help?

It doesn't pop up instantly lol. Depending on what rank you are at now, it may take 15 minutes for the first achievement then 20-25 for the last one. You can always create a player match and see if you rank has risen to see if it's working. =)

Killing aliens nets you XP from the multiplayer settings.. so play aslong as you want until it pops up but this spot in the vid is a good XP grinding spot.

Nope because it's a developer glitch. XBL only bans people who use modified game files like modded xboxes or game saves.

Only PC got it patched March 8. Consoles still have the glitch but the patch coming out for them will fix it. Do it quick cause it only takes 40 minutes really. After the patch.. you'll have to go through 40 hours of slow matchmaking.

I'm surprised! they still haven't patched the PS3 version, I did this glitch a few weeks ago. But I have one problem, I unlocked all skins except one on each species, I'm missing Number 6 for the Alien, I'm missing Alien for the predator and I'm missing another one on the Marines....

No. Pc got it patched March 8. Ppl on PC had 3 weeks to do the glitch that only takes 40 minutes to do. If you got the game after March 8 then that's just too bad. Now you have to go through 40 hours of slow match making.

This really worked, at first I thought it didn't because in the video you get it really fast, but I kept trying it and end up taking 4 playthroughs (one on each specie and another one) to get both trophies.

couple questions. First: Does it have to say "1" player waiting for others or can it be more? Second: Must you continuously do that until you get the achievement or just twice? Third did u get the achievement because you were close to lvl 43 or just because u did the glitch?

I have done this glitch and it does work. I tested it with the predator and it also seems to work with the predator campaign to. I got bored doing the marine one so I decided to test it out with the predator and I was so happy that it worked. Next I'm going to see if the alien one could do the same.

normally im not one for glitching, as it feels cheap and noob like.. But in this case its not so bad because like you said, ranked matches suck. Sometimes it can take ages to find one, u cant invite friends to play infection or predator either if its ranked, and everytime the ranked matches end you have to find another game instead of staying in the lobby, which is annoying if u find a good group of people to play with. I will be trying this glitch tonight, thanks :)

It's not like you're unlocking power weapons or any advantage over other players.. it's just skins really. Ranked matches are getting less populated now that ppl are sticking to player matches. Get those skins fast before there's nobody left in ranked.
