Why would you bump fire for self defense? It's inaccurate fire. You'd be better served by keeping the weapon at eye level and firing quick, deliberate shots.
Nice video. Search for "Travis Tomasie reload" here on youtube and you'll see a technique for how to do a faster reload. It helped me out, maybe it will help you to.:) Ps. Love Beretta! Ds.
@Polenar You're welcome. :) It would be fun to see you use the technique in your next video. By the way. I'm just curious. What type of BDU are you using for airsoft? I love your gear and your videos. :) Keep it up. :)
Not sure what I think of you guys bump firing in a "shooting drill." However, the rest of it is pretty good. I wish I had a snowy area like that to shoot at, it's nice.
Any coutry that doesn't allow the people the right to own weapons for self defense is genocide waiting to happen. Liberals/Socialist/Commies are no good.
well when and if the goverment decides to "attack/inslave or whatever" the people have no arms do defend themselfs with. "When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny." -- Thomas Jefferson".Fear the government that fears your gun.
Remeber that when reloading keeping the gun up and into your workspace is key. The bad guys are down range not at the ground. If your ever in an engagement situational awareness is key hence why you should never keep your eyes off of the target
thanks for posting the vid, found some inspiration for some multi-person drills of my own :) btw, you happy with the P30? I'm thinking about getting one myself :)
Im actually the one with Beretta. Yeah, my friend is quite happy with it - he has the compact version but i would recommend the standard or the long version for greater accuracy
You guys need to work on doing tac-reloads, clearing malfunctions, and getting your weapons up into the fight!!!
dont stop in the middle of a drill, work through it and neutralize your target. cuz in real life one of you would have taken atleast 2 to the chest just standing there
You fellas are clearly shooters, I would however suggest to you that you spend some time working on your stoppage drills, and don't stop a drill just because something went wrong, instead work through the problem. If your training yourself to just quit and do a do over, then your going to fumble badly if the real thing ever happens. The drill is not over untill either you or your threat is dead. There are no do overs in the real world.
Impressive friend. Greetings from Texas. You men look well practiced. Are you guys military or police? Are civilians allowed to own fire arms in your country?

So polenar at second 2:38 the berettas safety could be acuated hence squeezing the trigger and no shot. And at second 3:02 your friends a break barrel stick feeds with slide jutted stuck out so you fire for him. Have you seen my photos I have emailed you :)

2.18 until 2.22, the guy in the front with the P30. Look at his feet. Maybe you need to lean a little further into the shot, because thats not supposed to happen^^
Nicely observed! After we reviewed the footage i told him the same thing. He is actually a very good shooter but he didnt expect that kind of recoil from fast firing.
He was also complaining about the snow - it was quite slippery.
Quellen Sie hervor, warum würde überlegene Genauigkeit unzulängliche Kampfwirksamkeit verursachen? Well why would superior accuracy create insufficient combat effectiveness?
Have you used the Czech 85 combat marksman pistol with the adjustable front sight they come in nickel finish also and they are equal in beretta quality and accuracy.
why the bump fire on retreat? i'd be more inclined to pump out some slower, more well placed shots as opposed to laying down lead as fast as possible unless naybe you're defending yourself against a group at close range(spray and pray).
then again, after 1 good shot with the 357, target probably won't get back up. also, i can't do more than double tap, aim, double tap, aim with my glock 23.
i feel bad for the guy having to just duck all the time lol.

at close ranges where you can hit the target bump firing is actually one of the techniques used by special forces for VIP protection
i personally wouldnt ever use it but its fun to try it

how is the weapon law in your country, can everyone get a weapon? and nice video btw, thanks for that
fluffyman15 2 years ago
@fluffyman15
You can get a weapon only with a firearm permit for sport , hunting or safety
but to get these permits you have to be in a shooting club and you have to pass some tests to get it
its not that simple
Polenar 2 years ago
@Polenar: Ah ok, its the same like in germany. Thanks for the reply.

spektek9 3 years ago
Hmm... I didn't realize that bump firing was an practical/appropriate technique for self defense....
HKBM45 3 years ago
Its actually quite impractical as we found out because you need a lot of training to make it fast enough (from draw to the firing position)
and it useful only on really small ranges to the target.
We tried it because it looks fun :D
We saw this technique in use by the Serbian special forces for VIP protection in hallway or really small places.

We just wanted to try different techniques. I saw this bump fire technique been used by Serbian special forces for VIP protection (on close range).
We tried it and found out that its not so simple as it looks :D
We mostly use two in the chest, one in the head technique - its said to be the most reliable (most stopping power).
I agree about the caliber. You can see that by french special forces unit GIGN - their front-man normally uses a revolver.
