  • the truth is as christians you need to love your neighbor and not judge, the other truth is that if you are gay, you are going to hell, its the truth, not bcuz we say it, but bcuz God said it in his word, now while you judge the people who tell the truth, we as christians have to share the whole truth and nothing but the truth wether it hurts you or not. I have many gay people in my family, but one thing I will not do is lie. its not only for gays, its for all who continue in sin.

  • @brendamrtnz Sorry but you must not study scripture much. "the other truth is that if you are gay, you are going to hell, its the truth". No. That's not the truth. According to scripture what lands someone in hell is not accepting Jesus Christ as savior. For God so loved the world that any who believes in Him shall have everlasting life. It doesn't say gay people automatically get sent to hell. It says those who don't believe in Christ will. Everyone sins. And the only judge isn't on Youtube.

  • Thanks for posting this, you may have saved the lives of other kids having trouble accepting their sexual identity and contemplating suicide. I wish You Tube was around when I was comming to grips with my sexuality it would have been much easier. Btw your both cute and kind, someone will be very lucky to have you as his boyfriend. Wish you the best!

  • Unfortunately, the bible is pretty clear about homosexuality; therefore, god is pretty clear about homosexuality, as the bible is the word of god. If you get rid of the bible and the god concept, then you don't need this video (which is one long rationalization) and you can feel great about yourself thanks to your own self-respect and not because a old book says so. There's nothing wrong with you and kudos to you for respecting yourself -despite- what the bible says.

  • @vanJohannstein actually im not a closet fag,u probally r. Im straight and completely secure about my sexuality. And im not talking to u trol, look at all ur hate comments lil cunt!

  • @word9595 "No - you are". Cute.

My hate comments? The only thing I've been hating on was assholes trying to tear this brave and honorable man down simply because of his sexuality.

  • All of you people call yourselves christian. You're doing it wrong. I was raised Christian, and I was raised to love absolutely everyone. I have so many gay friends, Josh being one of them. I find it the BIGGEST sin in the world to be as nasty as all of you are being on this telling him he's wrong, a fag, what have you... Its so wrong and it's not fair. You're all bigots. Grow up.

  • Loving someone is not a sin, engaging in gay sex is. If you were born gay for whatever reason you were probably meant to live celibate life.

  • @zakahtekahs

That's easy for you to say. You're not gay. You get to love and have sex and still go to Heaven. We don't. Until you have been where we are, you do not KNOW what it is like. All you know is what your Bible says.

  • @zakahtekahs

That's easy for you to say. You're not gay. You get to love and have sex and still go to Heaven. We don't. Until you have been where we are, you do not KNOW what it is like.

  • Thanks for making this video. It made me smile. You're the best!

  • @vonjohnnastein my friend u need jesus

  • Took the words right out of my mouth. *hugs* :)

  • Took the words right out of my mouth. *hugs* :)

  • True love is telling someone they are wrong even though it may hurt them. Its fighting for someone to keep em from goin to hell. Its not accepting sin just cuz u might hurt their feelings or no longer be their friend. Thats true love my friend.

  • @texasespo70 ou greatly pervert the true meaning of love, for example:

True love is forcing inferior faces to not breed, as their inferior genetics contaminate the global gene pool, though it may hurt them, this must be done for our god deems our race superior.

We are fighting for all of humanity. It's about not accepting their sinful racial inferiority, it's accepting what is right for humanity, god, and doing what is best for them. That's true love my friend.

    You sicken me.

  • @deciBass45 couldn't say it any better.

  • True but in the bible it also says: a man shall not lay in bed with another man as he would a woman. It's morally wrong, but I understand what your saying.

  • Gay,go kill urself fag!

  • @word9595 Go hang yourself, you bitter closet fag. No body wants to hear your sorry ass whine about who you dislike, you pathetic douche.

  • @VonJohannstein

I'd rather hang you you sweet little pussy licking bitch. Gay Men and Women are dying in the military because you don't have to balls to serve, and all you can find to do is hate on them. You pathetic little pussy.

  • @rumours77 I beg your pardon? I have no problem with homosexuals in the military - I support equality for sexual minorities, whether it is for them to get married or serve the nation faithfully. I don't consider anything wrong with homosexuality - I consider homosexuality to be equal and just as natural as heterosexuality.

  • Be gay thats fine but the one who fuck wemon too is not right

  • @monkey50754 Your arrogance of your sexuality paints a poor picture of your character.

  • Harry ass man over beautiful woman wtf you jerbal killers

  • I literally stumbled upon this video, without even planning on watching anything interesting on youtube I might add, and I had to tell you that you have said everything so beautifully and from the heart. Even though you said your arguments may not be "articulate" or "sound," I honestly could not have said it better myself (I am a straight, female, God-believer btw). I wrestle with the subject of homosexuality as well in the Bible, and I KNOW that God loves you for who you are.

  • He knows we love him when we act in obedience to Him. Its not that we are not saved, but we show him we love him back, by obeying. submitting. We must reconcile and say He is Lord, we need to stop being our own god, and let him drowned us in his love. We must not defend sin. Sin is all equal. when we turn and give ourselves to Christ we then understand. You are on the right track my friend! Grab onto Jesus. Without Jesus there is nothing. Jesus is the key! You are very much loved by the Creator!

  • (Romans 3:23) "for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Everyone is born of sin. that is why we must repent and be baptized in the name of Christ Jesus. to receive the holy spirit. Please remember even though God of course loves each and everyone of one us as his own. Do not be boastful or pride in homosexuality. Its of the world. Boast in Jesus, and his perfect work. No matter anyone's orientation, lust and desire are sin, my friend. God is merciful. continue ->>

  • @Jeimuzu00 Please take note that your invisible sugar daddy in the sky isn't real... nor is the bible a moral guide, considering it justifies the torture and the beating of slaves to death.

  • I'm not here to condemn nor to judge. Its not my place to do so. God does love you, but he hates the sin. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, thieves, greedy people, drunks, slanderers, and robbers will not inherit the kingdom of God.

  • @CocoLove17 It's also funny that that describes a lot of Christians as well though, isn't it? And the fact that they can't see their sins either.

  • @Kiki756 Well everyone sins. If someone practices these things but then claims to serve God, then their not really christian. We can't have one foot in the church and the other in the world. Everyone see's their sin. We all know right from wrong. People just don't like to admit that what they're doing is wrong.

  • @CocoLove17 Yes, so in a way no one is really Christian because everyone does these things and yet claims to serve God. The Bible is a terrible moral compass, and if everyone used it to judge right from wrong women would be second class citizens and we'd still be stuck in the dark ages with no science or technology.

  • @Kiki756 It's one thing to be tempted and fall. It's another thing to practice this knowing that God is against it. Its all about having a relationship with God. If you love Him and want to follow Him, then you will turn from your wicked ways. The Bible is the best book ever written, you're just misinterpreting it.

  • @Kiki756: I understand that it doesn't seem loving for someone to tell another person that they are going to hell. However, if they truly believe that the other person is going to hell would it not be hateful of them to refrain from warning them? Although many "Christians" do not speak the truth out of love or concern for souls, there are those who are truly concerned to save souls. Just a thought to consider. God Bless.

  • @rescued2311 Most Christians don't "warn" gays of anything. They mostly condemn them as sinners and abominations. Also, they seem to rally to take away any legal rights they should be granted. However, this is not how all Christians behave, and I know some good ones. Though, it seems many of them do.

  • We have to remember that hating sin and hating sinners are two VERY different things. We were told what God sees as sin, and claiming sin to be sin is not being judgmental, only factual. It becomes judgment when we condemn others for their sin. We are ALL sinners in the eyes of God, which is why he gave us Jesus as the way to heaven.

God is the one who will judge us, and we told by what standards he will judge. Being good in the eyes of man is not equal to being good in the eyes of the Lord.

  • I must share your view entirely. I'm glad you're not one of those self-righteous fools who dare call themselves "devout". Your tone is also very respectful and not condescending, a large step over people like VenomFangX and ChristianUt2buber. Hats off to you.

  • People care too much about what other people think. and well said mate

    shave off your beards lol

  • @Akkadianvolcano come on! i completely don't agree with the confused, insane people with the signs, but the beards... Beards are awesome! these people are not the only ones who wear beards. heh :)

  • @Kiki756 You were not born homosexual brother, you must be transformed by the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:2) You cannot say God loves homosexuality because its completely opposite of Gods nature, he has to hate it, in the same manner he will judge the world. You don't HAVE to, but repentance is key to not let yourself be decieved/handed over into captivity (Romans 1:23-27). For these things opposite of GOD WILL NOT enter into the Kingdom (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

  • Yes people are people and we are to love them. I dont got a problem for who u are or how u live like i said we are all sinners and thank GOD that HE sent HIS SON JESUS to save sinners. when we are believers we have a different calling and the worlds lifestyle is no longer ours it is put to death and we are to walk in newness of life not like everybody else.

  • By you saying that GOD made u that way u are blaming GOD. If im a thief and a liar and a murderer and if i blame GOD for the way that i am its a cop out so i dont take responsibility for my own actions. Just like eve blamed the serpent, and adam blamed eve. so thats the only thing i got a problem with. If u wanna be who u are thats fine but dont say GOD made u that way.

  • Everyone is an ex something and we all have our struggles whether its lust, struggling to stay pure till marriage and so on. Will we fall? probably but we should choose to stay there. Sin is sin period. and im speaking about believers not none believers.

  • No one said GOD didnt love you...and yes you are a sinner and i am a sinner for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD. did i say anything about u being gay? Did i judge u? No i simply said that u are a sinner just as i am a sinner therefore we are in need of a saviour, are we therefore sinless after that, no, but we strive and press foward with the help of GOD. But HE has called us to be set apart, and to say that GOD cant change someones life is a lie, because HE changed mine, e

  • ...but that all would come to repentance, i am not judging sin is sin, but we cannot call ourselves Chriatians and continue to live how we want to live. The bible says do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Dead to Sin, Alive to God...

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were ba

  • @Saved1231 Yes, I choose not to sin. I am not a sinner. Sorry that God made me this way and loves me, and I pity that you can't understand that. Trust me, if I had the choice of being gay, I wouldn't choose it. Would you choose a life of ridicule and oppression? Certainly not me. Just like you never chose to be straight, I have not chosen to be gay. I'm not "blaming" God for my "sin". I'm simply stating he created me and loves me the way I am.

  • Comment removed

  • @chrisgood2go god didnt want the world to be a world of sin, it was satan that introduced sin not god. humans always had free will and eve chose to eat the fruit. thats the only thing god allowss us to do is choose, and sometimes in the choosing satan will try and make that really cloudy and difficult for us

  • @janae2890 I apologize if Ididnt make sense, I was refering to Romans 8:19-25. The frustration was caused by sin. if subjected to frustration because of sin, than it is logical for me to say subjected to sin. Another way i consider it, is through the law, Romans 7:9-13. If l am subjected to the law and law introduced sin than i am subjected to sin. this isnt a problem because we have jesus christs love, if we are now free from sin, because of his love we subject ourselves to righteousness

  • ...GOD made me this way is to blame GOD for our sin.the bible says that if we say we have not sinned we make HIM a liar, so we are saying GOD is a liar when HE plainly tells us what is sin. Lust, fornication, adultry, hatred cause thats murder...and so on. GOD is not a man thay HE should lie...But if we confess our sin HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That is to agree with HIM thats what that means.GOD is not willing that any should parish b

  • I agree with some of the stuff you said but to say that GOD made us sinners? I dont,

I believe GOD created us with a free will, HE didnt create little robots that would obey HIM because HE wanted them to obey. So we have free will, GOD transforms sinners hearts that we may live a life pleasing to HIM. not in our own strength JESUS said apart from me you can do nothing. But HE gives us the grace and ability to forsake the things of the world the things that are not pleasing to HIM. For us to say

  • This video is pretty close, in my opinion(I don't know as much as I wish I did), but one thing I don't really agree with, is that God made you gay, and so He is ok with you being gay. In the Bible, it is said that homosexuality is a sin, and that we are supposed to strive to be free of sin. Now, God made me a sinner. We'll just use one of my many sins for example. I lust, quite often. It is natural for me to lust. One could say that God made me that way. However, that doesn't mean He approves.

  • @DethByMyIbanezAxe The way I look at it, is that your sin is no worse than my sin, so I believe that homosexuals can get into heaven, just like anyone else, BUT since it is a sin, they must try to rid themselves of it. But yeah, you're totally correct, in that the people who point fingers at homosexuals are being complete hypocrites. We're all human, so we're all sinners. Sorry about the rant. XD

  • @DethByMyIbanezAxe Hm. I believe that the Bible talks about how homosexuality is actually a sort of lifestyle as opposed to sin. Then again, the Bible also talks about it being direct rebellion towards God. I believe though, that the homosexuality that the Bible refers to is sodomy-level. In whatever case, homosexuality is okay. I do agree with you, Deth. I also don't believe that God can make someone gay, but one's orientation is quite frankly what matters little in Christianity...

  • @DethByMyIbanezAxe ...unless God mandates you to do something that has any sort of pertinence to your orientation.

  • this is so beautiful

  • BTW, I consider myself a devout Christian (Catholic), and I appreciate you making the distinction between those who actually practice what they believe, and those who hate. Jesus = love, because God = love. Pretty simple, really.

    MAJOR props to Josh!!

  • Just before the performance, the minister--THE MINISTER!--addressed the audience and said,

"I hadn't planned on saying anything, but I feel the need to make a statement. It's high time we all acknowledge that the church has done terrible things to people who are different, including different genders and orientations, and it's high time something is done about it!"

I admit I teared up when I heard this. I thought, there is hope after all.

  • WOW!!!!! Thank you SO MUCH for saying all that.

My partner and I went to a fundraiser for a local AIDS support group (the Denver Gay Men's Choir was performing) at a Methodist church in Boulder, Colorado, a couple of weeks ago.

  • I just gained a BUNCH of respect for you.

i love love this a lot

    :)

  • @unmeltedcaramel Yeah. People need to share the hugs. :P

  • this is a great video, i understand what u mean when you say how it seems "childish" but I completely understand what you mean :] and I agree with you basically, but yeah...I love those long conversations about that kinda stuff xD

  • hey hey whats with not loving the beardy guys?

  • @VivaciaDreams Cause they're bat-shit crazy! xD

  • HEY....! Are you wearing silly bandz?! omg i thought they wer the stupidest things but im wearing 9 on my wrist right now... *cry* man i havent been keeping up with your vids lately, since when did get this amazin camera! also, awesome vid! dont let them mean ppl out there put u down for who u are!

  • @BananasForInuyasha Haha, I got it a few weeks ago! Did some pretty snazzy videos with it already! :)

  • A powerful video. Thanks for posting.

  • @rossperth Thank you so much. xx

  • wow that was a very inspirational video i think all people should think like you just because your gay does not mean your going to hell god made you for a reason and he loves you just the way you are more people should open up their eyes and see that all we need is love hate is such a strong word and people only hate because they dont understand helping them understand as you are doing is amazing thanks for making my day :)

  • @jesslw1756 Aww, thank you so much! I had no idea so many people would be moved by this. I mean, I was just saying how I feel, I didn't expect to get so much feedback. It even made someone cry! What? Haha. Thank you so much! xxx

  • I TOTALLY agree with you. I get told all the time, That im going to hell, Just because im gay. It annoys the crap outa me..cause im not going to hell, i beleive in god, im a strong christian, and i know im not going to hell.

  • amen all of that was extremely true and the one thing i hate about judgemental people and being in one religion is that if you disagree with one thing that it says in your certain religion they judge you immensely for that like im catholic and i believe that all animals go to heaven and its sooooo bad according to catholics to believe that

  • bible thumper type i like to tell them to stick there signs and the one who say you are going to hell well i tell there i will meet some great people

  • Brilliant video xD

  • @CheekTV Thank you! I slipped "...transgendered, or purple" in just for you. xD

  • @Kiki756 I thought so :D x

  • I love how you said "Color Coded" I'm not sure why.. but.. yeah lol

  • @xXxiPodSingerxXx Bahaha. <3

  • Well stated Josh and, by the way, I love you.

  • I totally get you cause i've been in private school for 6 years lol

  • This was actually a good video. Well done, sir.

  • @Agriking As opposed to a bad one? xD

  • You made the vlog I've wanted to make for awhile now! THANK YOU!

    *Shares*

  • @animefreakout29 Aww, thank you! xx I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way, haha.

  • @Kiki756 - Yeah, not at all. I do feel the SAME way! Glad to know others feel the same!

  • They didn't really care. I said if you judge me for that then concider me here everyday with her to prove my point. They said to me that "god loves everyone no matter what/who they love you've showed us that"

I was walking out and said "Well, that was kinky ;D"

  • @mslauramk Aww, thank you! I was worried that some Christians still may take it offensively even though...it's not. Haha. xx

  • Preach.

I agree with everything you said. It's so true.

People who condemn homosexuals are simply ignorant.

  • @nikvlogs True dat home skillet!

  • I could not agree with you more, i also don't like organized religion and i too know christians who are horrible people on the inside, i just got to tell you that you're an amazing person for uploading this, it's about time some said something :)

  • @soap1opera1fan Aww, thank you so much! I was worried people wouldn't like this video. Gracias!

  • @Kiki756 *blows kisses*

  • I liked it. Those damn crazy people with them beards and signs. To prove to a bunch of people at my church yesterday that loving another gender is wrong I grabbed my partner in crime Brittaknee and we decided to annouce in front of a bunch of people that "Today is national/international bisexuality day, I celebrate this day because I'm in love with my bestfriend" I kissed her in front of everybody and now everyone in my church thinks that no matter who you love you are loved. ;D

  • @Lostphotography Aww. I would think that they might take offense to that! Interesting!

  • "Shave off your beard, leave your crazy ass signs at home and just give someone a hug!!" hehehe so cute.

  • @xXxiPodSingerxXx Baha. My favorite line too. xx

  • I don't understand why you doubt your "argument" because the points you bring up are executed very well. Any one who thinks your stupid and tries to trash talk you for believing in such an idea is blinded by hate and need to re-evaluate themselves before trowing the first stone. I understand and can relate to your beliefs because I'm kinda in the same boat as you. My family is very religious and think all gays go to hell. As for me, I really wish I had your strength to stand up for my beliefs.

  • @GossipXGuy Ha, I don't have strength. I can't stand up to tell people this in person, I have to hide behind a camera, haha. But thank you. :))

  • GOD is love!

    Yes, "ONLY" GOD can Judge!!

We Christians are to LOVE, not Hate nor Judge.

    You said it!

    Great job, Thanks for sharing!

  • @rbs91160 Thank you! I'm glad you agree! I was worried about some Christians somehow taking offense! xD xx

  • Great video, man. I fully support gay rights, but I feel like most people who support them do it just as obnoxiously as those who oppose. You made a very classy video, with very strong points. Good job!!

  • @BurnBeforeEating Well, I'm not of of those buffoons. :P Thank you!

  • great video btw :D

  • I was raised catholic but thankfully my parents didn't shove it down my throat! I got baptized, confirmed and all that jazz but now that I'm an adult I just live life following my heart & mind and always try to do what I consider the right thing to do :) I believe that God is neutral and he just created us and pretty much hoped for the best in his creations. If what we are is so wrong then I'm pretty sure He wouldn't have created some of us to start with. *HUGS*

  • @wecouldbebest Aww, thank you! Haha, I suppose a single thumbs up will have to do! :P

  • Pretty well said for someone who thinks he is not good at argument :)

  • @johnetie Haha, still. It could have been argued better.

  • :D

there's this line in the song The Archers Bows Have Broken by the band Brand New that says "Oh, order your daughters to ignore me, think that will sort me?

and sweep me under the rug

While you're beating with a book everyone that book tells you to love"

    <3

  • @AndThenSheBledx (in other words, awesome video, great points, and I agree lol)

  • @AndThenSheBledx Haha, thank you! And it's the truth. I just don't understand how people can completely skip over the message of the Bible, and twist it into hatred.

  • Amen Josh.

I think God himself is proud that you took your valuable time to make this video, setting the record straight.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen/heard people spout their crap and label it religion. I hate when then turn something as beautiful as faith, hope, religion, and beliefs into something so vile and bitter.

Nowadays religion is a tool for others to pass on their hatred to their children and others.

    Thank you Josh.

  • @UnperfectStorm16 Wow, I'm surprised people watched this! Haha, I was expecting them to skim over it. xDD Thank you! :)

  • and i wanted to say that i really love your videos and the way you are ;)

  • omg... you are sooo right!!

i have the same opinion about this issue.

it only matters that we love someone and not that we love the same gender!

i don't think that god would urge us to suppress who we are!

i have no religious denomination, but i believe in god and i think this is the only thing that matters - that we believe in something/someone, that makes us strong and gives the power in the sad moments of life!

i am really sorry that my english is so bad, but i hope you get what i meant!

  • @michellebrickerfan Your English is fine! Haha. I couldn't even tell it wasn't your first language! My Spanish for instance, is atrocious. Thank you so much for your comment! You're right, believing in something - anything - gives us the power to cope and deal with the hard times. xx

  • @Kiki756 no problem! you deserved it for such a good video ;) you really should make more videos like that - i think that shows "another side" of you :) *in a positive way*
