It looks like at 0:51 you passed very rapidly over some rocks on the trail and that is what actually caused you to fall. The Reba is one of the stiffest 29ers out there, if not the stiffest. I have my doubts about the new Fox 34 fork, if they continue developing forks as they do it will be like the 32 Reba or close around, in terms of stiffness.
@helmetless This is the '07 Reba. Rebas before the year they updated it with the power bulge were notoriously flexy. A mm of torsional or lateral flex at the axle equates to a much larger deflection at the tire that significant affects how straight it tracks. If the fork were stiff, it wouldn't be so hard to keep the bike simply pointed straight. Ever ride a 36 fork with a stiff wheelset? I am not trying to avoid little rocks, I'm trying to keep it steady. Those small rocks are what did it in.
@miscuser69 I noticed that with the longer travel Fox 32 (140mm) on a 26 bike as well, and I only weigh 150. The twisting of the fork makes it feel squirrely. You want to go where you're pointing it, but the fork is deflecting this way and that way and you're forced to correct.
I recently got to ride a Fox 36 on a few bikes (Yeti ASR7, Giant Reign X) and that gave me so much more confidence. It makes comments from reviewers that say, "point and shoot tracking" make sense.
@teeanitiny No, my wrists are intact. I do wear a brace when riding, since my right one doesn't feel so great if I bend it back 90*, such as doing push-ups.
I got a bruise on my ribs from the camera that was mounted on my chest took quite an impact. It doesn't feel so great doing a situp now.
That crash was a 10+' fling. My bike bounced and rolled once or twice and got stuck in a tree and, when I got up, I noticed I was at least 10' or 3 bike lengths further down the trail, but I did roll once

Bigger wheel means more leverage on the fork and less stability.
