Well it looks like a pretty cool book...but I agree with penschool. You've got a pretty good powerpoint there, but is that really all you could think of for your promo video? What about a Flash video? Or heck, even a few clips of what your book is about. I know this is for a Textbook, and not an ad for an entertainment product, so I can give it a bit of leeway, but it could still use a little improvement.
Though let me make it clear that I DO like the concept of the book. *nod*
Thanks for the advice - but the reason I think the video is cool has little to do with the animated powerpoint, and mainly to do with the words themselves and what they say.
As I point out in the book, sometimes the message is the medium, rather than vice versa.
