Well, Meddle was actually released as a limited 7" edition single on August 4 2008 (I have a copy which I purchased last October and I have a receipt as proof of this).

If you like, go and look for the performance on here of LB performing the song in her bedroom which she posted in JULY 2008!!!!!. In the comments, she explains that the song is going to be released one month later.

So, sounding all forthright is all well and good, but if you're going to do that, at least get your facts right!!!
