We were leading worship that day. Look at the date though, it was 4 1/2 years ago. So we've gone from fairly amature to a more professional level. So most of the kinks that we dealt with in the video are no longer problems to us.
yo man, that was awesome! Great solo, LOVED that tapping xD but you missed like 2 notes in the entire solo but whatever, it sounded pretty freaking sweet regardless!
Just put some more energy in your playing and SMILE more :D It makes the world go round :)
Like i said man, it was awesome and you guys sounded great. Just try smiling and you will instantly be like a billion times betta =]
not bad man. put more energy in your performing tho! Enjoy what your doing! my big brothers band used to perform this song at church and charity concerts.
As a singer I will tell you that your voice was extreamly monotone, you need to wait til noone is home, go into your bathroom look yourself in the mirror and just sing.
doesnt even have to be a song at all, just words that pop into your head and just sing your heart out, doesnt matter if you screw up cause its just you as audience.
Also, practice facial expression, it seemed to me like you werent having fun up there.
This video really does not do me justice these days. I really should upload a more recent video, I have improved vastly in every way, but i suppose I just havent had the chance to video any other performances.
I'm not really sure why I looked so serious on this day...Must have been nervous or something.
This is a Jackson RR5 (japanese) Actually I dont use it anymore. I upgraded to a Manne, Italian handmade guitars. hate to say it, but they blow jackson right out of the water.
dude great job. im in 2 worship bands here in town and i love it when older guys like you get up there and lead us. we need a role model like you man. you did a great job. this song is great for youth worship. i gotta get my leader to do this. great job and god bless
I'm convinced you have a hungry heart after God & worship. So just go for it man, don't hold back. Just worship & don't worry about your playing and singing. Only focus on God & worship. Rely on Him & that He will guide the whole band.
you know, the leads voice isn't that great, i mean, it's good, it's not bad, but its not like chris tomlins, but anyway, that's not the point, you tend to forget it when you really worship, AMAZING job guys
Yeah, my vocals werent as good back then. I need to upload a more recent rendition. My vocals have become MUCH better along with my overall musicianship.
Good job, but it sounds like your synthesizer intro has a different tempo than you play it in. Good job on the solo, drop the intro and you guys will sound really good.
Hey man i play in the youth group band at my church. we play this song... its by far my favorite. good job :) you look bored up there though, ya gotta get into it! haha
Every time I've played in a crowd, if it be 4 people or 120, I've always had sweaty hands.
Just make sure to wipe your guitar strings down after you play, with a rag, your shirt or something, or you'll decrease the life of your strings by like a hundredfold.
this would sound better if you had an acoustic guitar player but this is good too... i like the drummer's solid playing but he speeds up way too much... buy him a metronome for christmas. he's still better than a lot of worship drummers out there.
You never know how they prepared for this song. Churches play praise songs regardless of how the original is played. My church plays Prince of Peace in a fast tempo, but nobody's complaining there. Good job Strikr; I can't spot how you messed up, as long as it was worship, right?
Great job! The drummer is fine. The issue is that the sound isn't picking up the full response from the drummer (and band). Nice rendition of a great song. Keep up the Good Work! Holy! Holy! Holy! is the Lord of Hosts.
u should record this song again. with pro cameras lol. the drummer isn't bad for a steddy drummer. hes doing a good job. i should know, i play drums also.
@harry123679 And your point is.....?
I'm quite aware that this isnt a 100% true rendition of the song

Were you there to worship or perform? The drummer was speeding you up through the whole song!!!

I just love this song, brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.
You guys did it wonderfully, Keep it up!
But It looks like you're a bit nervous up there.
Just let go, and remember, you're performing for God, He'll appreciate it as long as it's sincere.

Yeah, definetly a new video.
I would be interested in seeing a new one.
Nerve will definetly get you. I was giving a presentation a week ago or so and completely screwed it up cause I just lost my head.
Dunno why either.
But good luck with it all, and I hope to see some new vids soon enough.
