I think the line after "Hell, they're almost free" is "or you can stay UNKNOWN and that's okay by me" because I think it's about becoming, or not becoming, famous. I could be wrong though.
I love this song so much. The vending machine part is giving me trouble too. I also think that's what he's saying but I don't really understand it. Any ideas??
