Many thanks for this series, Gentlemen. I love the idea of a Departmental cancel. I've tried this on my GW4 by setting Piston 10 as a cancel on each department. Better would be the wonderful old Compton system of Second Touch cancel on every stop tab, or draw knob, but I expect there are patent issues preventing this.
I hope to someday go to Macungie and see the factory and museum myself. I am getting an Associates Degree in Electro Optics and I've always had an interest in the electronics side of an Allen organ.
LOL at the little boom box sitting on one of the speaker cabinets! But seriously, I play several Allen organs (including some of the largest they have built) and have loved every single one I've played.
Wow, that is fantastic! I've always wanted an Allen, but as a jobless college student studying pipe organ on the side I don't think that is going to happen for a while.
How easy is it for the organist to "change out" certain stops if desired? Or is this not a feature you would find on this type of organ?
Please continue posting videos, these are very fun to watch.
How does one go about keeping both the pipe and digital voices in tune with each other since differences in room temperature may affect how pipes react to such changes?
@KC9SYJ Our system utilizes a temperature sensor in the pipe chamber. As the temperature changes it alters the tuning of the digital tone generation to match the pipes. It works real well.

Gentlmen!
Well done and yes I would encourage more of these types of video.
It would be fun to see the installation stages in Texas as well as hearing the final result.
Youtube audio is compromised of course so maybe a CD? DVD? I do hope this "monster" is going into a good accoustic environment!

I play a very modest C6c through just two of those HR-200 speakers, and it sounds fantastic! I cannot imagine the power of this instrument!!!
