@betepunap no it can't, it's more suited against blunt impacts.

However - KEVLAR impregnated with a dilatant fluid (eg: D3O is a dilatant fluid) will protect much better than Kevlar alone, against sharp weapons and bullets.

D3O or silly-putty mixed with the Kevlar will form a sort of composite material - the kevlar provides the strength and the dilatant fluid keeps the fibres from being pushed aside by the bullet/knife.

To give you an idea whe I smelled it I got a headache for 1 hour, so it's REALLY not a good idea, but that was my experience. You could try to do that and I want to know if it works for you :D

@1000jamesk Corn flour/starch has a distinctive and interesting smell, but i wouldn't call it a BAD smell. To me it smells like wood putty.

Subtitles would make it better.
