  • Republican, Democrat it doesn't mater who gets in the white house because the only people who win are our corporate over lords.

  • Vote independent.

  • Premium support, translates to a large slong in the azz. Corporations get richer.

  • In the last election (2008) the republicans say they want to repeal healthcare (which helps the poor) and they scared a lot of people to vote for them. They use the code word "entitlements" all the time but not tell voters they would cut soc sec/medicare (many of them also want repeal min wage). At least i never heard them say this directly. After they win they imm cut programs for poor and keep tax cuts for rich and spending for military. They lied to the public and should be voted out asap.

  • @tmmy773 "In the last election (2008) the republicans say they want to repeal healthcare (which helps the poor) and they scared a lot of people to vote for them."

How about the poor get off their lazy asses and pay for their own healthcare like the rest of us. Of course that would mean, dare I say it, they would have to get jobs which would cut into the time they spend smoking crack and drinking beer.

  • @richardcblaine72 what jobs? you mean at Mcburger's making min wage? Even if they did the poor still wouldn't be able to afford healthcare. If the poor don't work maybe we can find something for them to do that actually treats them like human beings. Pretty crazy idea i know (sarcasm).

  • @tmmy773 The jobs they could do if they put down the crack pipe and got off the porch. Of course then they wouldn't get their welfare anymore so we know that makes it a deal breaker for them. The poor are losers who won't work if you put a gun to their heads. People like you enable them but with 15+Trillion in debt it's all about to come crashing down.

  • @richardcblaine72 But what jobs can they get? Its better to have incentive rather than punishment to motivate people. Wouldn't it be better to pay a decent wage and prevent abuse and overwork than putting more people in jail or adding more people to the welfare lines?

  • @tmmy773 Why do you think somebody who is getting a check to sit on their ass and do nothing wants to go and work for a "decent wage" whatever that is? Why shouldn't they sit on their ass and do nothing except go to the mailbox for the check? You want them to work? HTF are they supposed to smoke crack at work? Are you fing nuts?

  • Do you politicians have any idea what your doing to our seniors? I am a divorced women that has worked all my life I have no savings got nothing from my ex which has deceased. Some of us have never had the opportunity to come from rich families to inherit from or better jobs to work.If you can't pay us our SS there won't be any assistance programs to help us either. So what then?Work you say I am. what happens when I can't work anymore, die? so where is the sign up sheet to gas the seniors?

  • People pay into SS and Medicare every pay check they get. So they are ENTITLED to receive that money back. I'm tired of some people on the right acting as if these people are asking for a hand-out. They are NOT, asking for a hand out because they have paid into the system. The people are simply asking back for what is owed to "we the people" who have paid into these programs. There is nothing wrong with asking for YOUR money:)

  • @NowThePeople "People pay into SS and Medicare every pay check they get. So they are ENTITLED to receive that money back."

You aren't entitled to anything. You paid a tax. That's it. It costs far more to run Medicare than it takes in in Medicare taxes and it's on track to bankrupt the country. People on Medicare had their whole lives to get it together and save. Now they want a bunch of kids making minimum wage to pay more into medicare to support them. Fuck that.

  • @NowThePeople

"So a person who is 65 yrs old or older who is denied insurance because they have a " pre-exisiting condition" is supposed to do what?"

They've had 65 years to figure out a solution to that problem now haven't they? If they couldn't get their shit together in 65 years it isn't up to me to pay for their medical issues.

  • I'm a punk get off my ass

    because I'm fucking working class

I get up everyday and go to work

I'm treated like a fucking jerk

They suck my money every week

    now my future's looking bleak

they say the money's almost gone

but what will I do when my time comes..

Did you hear what they want to do to you and me

they wanna take away our social security The Unseen "Social Security"

  • The T-bags and GOP constantly yell about socialism in health care as unpatriotic. My dream: Health care solely owned and operated by the US Govt, where they own the land, the hospitals, pay the heat and electricity, pay the workers from the janitors on up to the MDs. A place where anyone eligible can walk in and get free health care, including surgeries and medicines, for life. Wait--not a dream--it's here--the VA Medical System--the greatest expression of gratitude for real patriotism.

  • @akagreta67 And if your pipe dream comes true you better learn do it yourself medicine because the government can't even manage Medicare without bankrupting the entire country. The VA? LMFAO the VA is a joke. You would be better off with the do it yourself option. VA Dr's are pretty much bottom of the barrel that couldn't make the big bucks somewhere else. You get what you pay for and with the VA you don't get much. I hear the complaints every fucking day.

  • I wonder why Cenk never mentions the Human Development Programs Obama instated? I mean they're a life saver if people knew how to use them.

  • Charlie Sheen passes out during an interview /watch?v=d1xS8DLwzf4

Thumbs up and subscribe for the latest interviews

  • Cut Medicare and Medicaid? Finally!

  • NEVER VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN AGAIN!The PAUL RYAN BUDGET PLAN will DESTROY MEDICARE for those of us 54 years or younger. IMAGINE being an old man & having to do BATTLE with a PRIVATEinsurance company BECAUSE THE voucher you got is not enough to pay for the coverage you need or you just can't get the coverage you need for your illness! REPUBLICONS slipped this into their budget proposal with NO DISCUSSION OR DEBATE! TELL YOUR STATE REPUBLICON$ THAT YOU WILL NEVER VOTE FOR A REPUBLICON AGAIN!

  • @poindexterwitkowsky You sound like a typical democrat. /watch?v=7dEA-S6QtKA take a look and then try some research to disprove stossel. Then educate the liberals.

  • @poindexterwitkowsky If the Dems really gave a shit they would have shoved singlepayer down our throat not this shit they call Obamacare they just catered to the HMO's. No adhering to monoploy laws, increase in drugs & still the same EXPensive cost for shitty coverage. Dems just feed of Repubs both are establishment f- heads!

  • If they demand to cut Medicare, social security, disability, medicaid, then people must demand nationalize oil | gas | nuclear energy and deep cut to military | Pentagon and health care.

  • THE REPUBLICANS WILL CUT MEDICARE, SOCIAL SECURITY, DISABILITY CHECKS, MEDICAID AND THEY WILL SAY TO YOU "OOPS!! MY BAD" WITH A STRAIGHT FACE TOO. THE SAME PEOPLE THAT VOTED REPUBLICANS ARE GOING TO GET FUCK BY THEM AND NOW THEY ARE CRYING, THEY WERE STUPID ENOUGH TO GET CAUGHT IN THE REPUBLICAN'S AGENDA. WHAT DID YOU EXPECT? THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR VOTING REPUBLICANS, THEY'RE NOTHING BUT HYPOCRITE ARROGANT 2 FACE SELFISH BACK STABBING MOTHER FUCKERS AND DEMOCRATS AIN'T NO FUCKING SAINTS EITHER.

  • @elmano04 Medicare, social security, disability, medicaid are all taxes.Oh no please dont cut those. Why the hell does the govt take social security our of my check?Thats what my retirement is 4 i dont need the govt 2 help me.Medicare and medicade are a joke.Shitty coverage an 4 for old people or 4 welfare bums that dont want a job.And you know ppl on disability most of them our fakers.I never knew a person that was on disability that actually had a disability.FRAUD.Cut em fuck it!!!!

  • @dougiefreshny - I'M 100% AGREE WITH YOU!!

  • Medicare, Medicade and SS are not welfare - they are entitlements that those of us who have worked our whole life paying taxes into those programs are able to draw from them when we reach retirement age. You are paying into them too if you pay taxes - depending on your age, you will never see a return on your money.

  • @alanckaye Medicare is big time welfare. The taxes paid in don't even begin to cover the money that goes out. It's a disaster.

  • @alanckaye Those "entitlements" are bankrupting the country and by your rationale if I will "never see a return" on my money lets go ahead and abolish them now so I don't chase good money after bad.

  • so let me get this straight you comparing obama to republicans last time i check he never even proposed something like paul ryan did.

  • I promised I wouldn't vote for Obama again, and I'm going to vote green, but damn... If it's a tight election, I mean we know Obama sucks donkeydong, but the GOP will tank the US & world economy even worse than Obama will. Do you want to be spat in the face or shat on? Oh I'll be spat in the face thank you very much, the personal touch makes it all the better!

  • @MyTemporaryAccount88 ---

There are green parties as in environmental parties in the United States? =D Cool, haven't heard of any. :D

  • @underbjorn A bit late response, but yes. Ralph Nader used to be the candidate for it, dunno who'll be 2012. If you check out the political compass test you can compare candidates & see where Nader is. Then when you compare all the democratic & republican candidates, it really goes to show who's just one in the fold & who's not.

  • "people" actually watch and believe this clowns?

    Oh my...we're doomed.

  • @ronald6838 i would like you to cite your source that "the wealthy have a lower tax rate than the middle class" please. Can you blame a company that wants to maximize profits? what GE is doing is perfectly legal...now is that right? hell no but the govt made it possible for corporations to do that yet you want the same entity to take control of our healthcare? or raise taxes so we can have more reckless spending? i dont see govt or the free market as friendly so what do you do? live and let live

  • These same Republicans/born-again teabaggers expanded medicare in Bush's first term without paying for it....

    Irony.

  • Obama should have just ran as a republican. We would have gotten the same result as now. not as many would have voted for McCain either way.

  • @ronald6838 i think its interesting that you only look at wealthy corporations while ignoring the rich individuals that do pay taxes..just to jump to middle class...and lets say youre right, wouldnt cutting govt back be good because we wont have to have all of our middle class taxes go to worthless departments in the govt so ending up lowering our taxes? (logic being smaller govt means being able to run with lower revenues?) lol and wealth envy and class warfare sums it up

  • @123trymeout ---

Is that the universal response from far-right people in the United States?

That people who disagree with them are lazy, envying the rich or just spams class warfare? Haha outrageous.

  • @underbjorn outrageously true...yes..are you telling me youre not lazy? obiviously you want more welfare for the scum...what do you do for work? (assuming you can keep a stable job)

  • @123trymeout ---

Myself I am a student atm. So tell me, as all poor are lazy, do you think you work harder than starving Africans who walk several miles a day just to get fairly clean freshwater? Who work their arse off everyday on fields owned by cocoa-producers and American food companies?

Do you think the directors of those comapnies "work" harder than those people?

  • @underbjorn im a student as well but i also work...why arent you working as well? i do believe if you work hard you will eventually see the fruits of your labor. I want to say i am sorry if i offended you, but many many people lack individual responsibility and self reliance in America, wouldnt you agree? and if you do agree, the govt will only enable them to continue their immature ways because they know they always have a net to fall back into (welfare) right? so where is their motivation?

  • @123trymeout ---

As long as their salary is higher than the welfare, there is no problem but no man should be starving and homeless in a rich country like the U.S while others live in decadence.

What do you mean with "fruits of your labour"? That if you create something with your sweat and blood, you should get something for it? That's not how the world works, a vast majority of dollar billionaires are born into rich families , media just focuses on people like the Zuckerberg.

  • @underbjorn um life isnt perfect...never has been. now we do things because things "should" or shouldn't" happen? would it be so hard to think that those people who are homeless and starving got in those positions in life because of bad lifestyle choices? not because of a system failure? then what do you have to say about Andrew Carneige? John D. Rockerfeller? Ozzy Osbourne? J.K. Rowling? Chris Gardner? H. Wayne Huizenga? Jim Carrey? Oprah Winfrey? people who had nothing ended up with everything

  • @123trymeout ---

Seeing the homeless rate, crime rate, drug addiction rate etc for my own country and the U.S, I have a very hard time seeing that bad lifestyle is exclusively the reason. That is why we fund clinics to treat drug addicts instead of having military bases in Uzbekistan or whatever.

What I have to say about those. Are you serious? Okay, let me make this easy for you: Are those people a majority, a representative share, of all that "had nothing"? Eight people, are they?

  • @123trymeout Rockefeller and Carnegie got their wealth through their poor treatment of workers. They are literally the reason unions exist in the US, and why we have anti-trust laws. They are the reason we started regulating the economy.

And by the way, you rely on the old myth that the poor are responsible for being poor. They couldn't possibly have been born into poverty, or been laid off by a company so that that company could maximise profits, right?

  • @RRCSMM

    You're just another jackass Liberal.

Weather you disagree with Paul Ryan or not, he is a very intelligent man, to deny that makes you an idiot.

No understanding of economics? Can you even name a famous Liberal economist besides Keynes????(And don't say Krugwoman or Stiglitz) Liberals have no idea how free markets work. Their ignorants drives their hatred of prosperity into the destruction of this country.

  • @TimeWarp66 And your punk ass(of 20 years) has seen it all and done it all and knows it all. Your just a loud mouth punk that took an economics class (maybe) and you think you have lived it OR your a candied ass bought and paid for by DADDYWARBUCKS! GO LIVE SOME LIFE PUNK and when you stop shitting yellow them maybe your word might have some meaning but right now YOU HAVE NO CLUE!!!!!

  • @ronald6838 lol why does everything have to do with the wealth? lol i mean really? if its anything that has to do with govt spending being cut or lower taxes...liberal always yell "Its for the wealthy!!"...really? lol

  • lets just keep spending till the dollar crashes...screw ryan for even saying we have a financial problem!

i want my obama money! my girl had here third baby...second of the year! we should be getting our additional government check soon! i don't want to get a job...i just plan on having more babies

  • I have the document open. Funny how the Repubs where bitching about the health care plan has has a give me to commercial health insurance & they turn around propose the same thing for Medicare. Blocks of Federal money to the State's is a bad idea some States have record of using such blocks to pay of cronies & not for the intended purpose

  • @commiesarn'tcool Perhaps it's U that's an idiot. The press conference left out a lot of detail as does the actual document. Maybe Cenk was basing his remarks on the document U dumbass, & he isn't lying. Cenk gave actual details& the lack of other facts in the document does leave room for speculation as to how the money to balance the budget would appear.

  • What part of we are broke do you not understand. All of you idiots need to watch the video where Ryan explains what he really plans to do. In typical Cenk fashion he lies and takes things out of context, but of course you idiots just eat it up.

  • @Commiesarentcool1 I disagree with you but instead of wanting people to take your word go find the parts that Cenk lied about and type them into some posts. Conservatism of today is the BIGGEST threat to the middle class and if we don't stop them they will destroy our lives and our children's lives.

  • @spacedude61 the idea that conservatives want us to work for what we have is just absurd! we don't want to work...they need to mail us checks and provide us with what is ours!

  • @spacedude61 Why can't they find it themselves? No, libs spending us to oblivion is the biggest threat. How do you not see that?!

  • @Commiesarentcool1 Your the one making the claim bud so you need to back your word or you look like a weak republican! SO WHATS IT GONNA BE???? BTW WE ALL KNOW YOU ARE A TROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @spacedude61 Just like a liberal, can't do anything yourself so you want others to do it for you. You can just remain uninformed. If you think I am a troll then WHY DID YOU RESPOND?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See. I can use the fury too.

  • thumbs up for republican apples.

  • Heatlh Care for rich nothing for the poor. Son of bitches! I really hate this guys. Take the country back my ass!!

  • @nativemrv19722 Take the country back... yeah take it back in time. lol

  • ryan is going to be saving medicare and medicaid which both are broken!

  • Eventually it won't matter when our dollar crashes.

No one will talk about the elephant in the room, economics. Are we really expected to keep borrowing from China to pay for healthcare here? What an insane system! We are going to have to default, like Ireland or Greece. The PBOC will have to dump their devaluing dollars so their savings don't deplete.

We could tax the top 10% 80% of their income and it still wouldn't be enough for universal healthcare, or even to fund current obligations!

  • Everyone is panicking for no reason. Was i the only person that heard im say it was PREMIUM care? If it says premium in it it must be good.

  • Putting the Estate Tax back where it was under Clinton would generate more than a TRILLION DOLLARS over the next 10 yrs & would affect less than 1/2 of 1% of the estates.

Strong supporters of the Estate Tax include Jefferson & Franklin...

    And Buffett & Gates.

Was this part of Ryan's plan?

  • Do Republican really thinks that everyone that work hard automatically become Rich and that anyone who isn't Rich is just lazy ?

Last time I've check a lot of people working 2 job at crappy place (like McDonald) weren't Rich, but yet they worked twice as much hour as most Rich people...

  • @dffykvn I love that you immediately resorted to death threats without taking a moment to think "hey this is a website full of people who appreciate irony/sarcasm/cruel humor maybe this person is joking or being sarcastic, maybe someone saying that poor people have money makes no sense, so this must not be serious"

  • I am once again sacred to shit by hwo things evolve in the U.S empire.

Seriously, are you lot JUST stupid Americans, where are the sane Amercans, those that make the country great? Refraining from voting? Wtf...?

You have this far-right, gun-loving, Christian supremacist, cowboy party who want big business to operate without any regulation, and cutting every social security you got?

As a European ofc, this seems incredible. What if you have two jobs and still can't pay for medical costs? Die?

  • @underbjorn Yup, like Alan Grayson said, Republican plan is don't get sick, and if you do die quickly.

  • @underbjorn It's one of the most frustrating things about this country. Tens of millions of people that are eligible to vote won't even get off their asses and do something that takes all of a few minutes to do. Republicans love it because they know that if every person in this country participated in the process and actually examined candidates and their policies under a microscope every election cycle, they would never win another major election in this country ever again.

  • @LuvChaos Good post! We need the younger people to get out and vote.

  • @spacedude61 you need useful idiots is what you need!

  • @underbjorn im sane man the crazy ones just out number us.

  • @underbjorn were are your facts. that the far right are all "gun-loving, Christian supremacist, cowboy party who want big business to operate without any regulation, and cutting every social security you got". Look at Europe's problems and fix them before you criticize the US.

  • @0091862644571085178 ---

Are you kidding me, where are my facts? Are you denying that Republicans want to pour weapons into the hands of citizens while at the same time locking up people for smoking virtually harmless substances.

What are Europe's problems do you mean? Certain EU member countries have large fiscal issues because their government kept deficit going and the U.S-generated world recession made them break, that's not an issue up here in the north.

  • @underbjorn you still have not stated were your info comes from at all. All I am saying is that you need sources to backup statements as strong as yours otherwise people will ignore and criticize you without even looking at what you say. And as for Europe look at your next door neighbors before you comment about another continent and I know that there are still big problems with countries in the north.

  • @0091862644571085178 ---

You do realize I don't go around post sources in a 500 character max post? -_-

What do you need a source for, their stance on weapons to all?

Which nextdoor neighbours should I look at to find "big problems"? Finland? Norway?

  • @underbjorn

The most disappointing thing about this is how people don't realize what's happening, couldn't give a damn, or pretty much agree because they're greedy. Sane Americans (such as myself) have to deal with them...worse case work with them. Deep down, I'm losing hope in this country. Nothing good will come from it and all hell will break loose. So, I'll have to prepare for the worse.

  • @underbjorn Yes, Die, your supose to die, under the new america, you will work until you become un profitable.

  • @underbjorn So what is your argument? The cost of service X is expensive because of corporatism, therefore other people should have to pay for it? And if they refuse you will kill them? That makes tons of sense...

  • @Houshalter ---

Okay, so explain to me exactly where I talk about killing people.

There was no argument in what you quoted, there was a statement.

  • @underbjorn if not killing, what are you going to do to people who refuse to participate?

  • @Houshalter ---

Uhm are you seriously implying that I would propose executing peopel for refusing to pay their taxes? Can I ask you where you got that idea from. :S They get fined ofc and if they still refuse, their property will be seized.

We can't let society deteriorate just because Ingvar kamprad or some other multi-billionaire here in my own country tries to play God. Now ofc, they don't, they move their assets abroad but don't worry, they will be found eventually.

  • @underbjorn if they defend their rightfully aquired property, then what?

  • @Houshalter ---

Well, as it isn't "rightful"... What do you mean, what are they going to do, shoot at police?

  • @underbjorn I'm ashamed of my country, and I'm not afraid to say that.

  • @underbjorn I agree with you. I don't know where are the "sane" Americans. In fact, those "sane" Americans want to stay home and bitch and whine until "liberal" start running. I don't know if people understand, if you don't fight, how the fuck does anyone expect to win? Doesn't anyone remember how Egypt got it's freedom or at least through out the dictator? Through peaceful protests and fighting. If they want GOP running in office, then STOP and think. They will destroy this country in 4 years!

  • @Stingerbillion ---

Haha hey Stinger, long time no see. Yes I agree, modern democracy share one fundamental core principle with the old Athens democracy:

    a c t i v e participation and information in the political life.

A country where few people vote will become corrupt, and then people will lose faith in politics and even fewer will vote and on it goes in a dark cycle.

  • @underbjorn Very true. To be honest, the best example i can give you is India. People have no faith in politics. They don't watch it or care for it, therefore corruption, greed, and power rules politics.

  • @Stingerbillion ---

Yea and then, India is a third-world country so it's not expected to be compared to the United States.

But in terms of faith in democracy, the United States hits rock-bottom. I mean, this chronic fear of their own elected government isn't that absurd seeing that they elect corrupt politicians, then fear the ones who are not corrupt, :S

Wtf fucking odd mentality, no offense to you personally, as usual, ;)

  • @underbjorn Like you, i am very upset and appalled at the stupidity of some Americans. The one corrupt, insane side is coming up with ideas to move this country backwards and they are getting majority support and no backlash, while the other side is being demonized. Argh! I have to admit though, it's also the dems fault for not fighting and standing up for their values, so it's no wonder people are skeptical to vote for them. And yes, it is odd mentality.

  • @Stingerbillion

Yeah if I could emmigrate to Canada or a European country I would.

They have better mopeds and scooters anyway.

Can you guys still get 2 stroke mopeds? We can still get a few but not much longer.

  • @underbjorn oligarchy, thats the type of government we have in the us now. seems there are too few people here who realize this and no one wants to believe it

  • @underbjorn The sane Americans are written off as being out of touch with society. Intellectual elite is actually an insult over here. We glorify ignorance, and that is reflected in our schools.

Sadly, there are two major causes of this issue: Cold War politics and voter apathy. Most people don't care about politics and don't follow it. This is reflected in the US having one of the lowest turn-out rates. To make it worse, our representatives act as if the Cold War is still going on.

  • @halo07guy2 ---

Well said, I mean just the fact that f.e the embargo on Cuba is continued while the same fuckers preach free market blah blah is so hypocritical. And subsidizing oil companies and agricultural conglomerates while preaching free market?

I tell ya mate, not even the most neoliberal market fundamentalists here in Sweden would defend the Republicans.

  • @underbjorn Hey! We don't need any liberal frenchie commie telling us what is wrong with this great country. There is nothing wrong with it. It is the best country ever in the world and nothing is wrong with it! If somebody doesn't like that they can shut up or leave!

  • @tstruss912 ---

I take it that was a joke, :P

  • @underbjorn ya....I had to see what it was like since I hear shit like that all the time. I think I will go complain about how paying taxes = "being robbed at gunpoint" now, peace.

  • @tstruss912 ---

    Haha okay, :P

  • Ryan's plan = More Senior Citizens Die quickly

  • Rayan's plan = More Senior Citizens Die quickly

  • Cenk needs to look up some facts. Private insurance sports nearly half the denial rate compared to medicare and also has way less fraud. yes it costs more, but if we are going to a voucher system, then the cost isn't going to you.

  • The GOP attacked Obama w/ talk of "Death Panels"

Now w/ Ryan's talk of turning Medicaid over to the states we know there will be "DEATH PANELS"

Gov Brewer of Arizona already wants to prohibit transplants.

Gov Perry of Texas is saying no more help for HIV patients - "Let 'em die"

What kind of nation have we become?

  • Obama cut Medicade too but the Young Turds didn't have a problem with it then.

  • @Bellita1 You've not listened to what he said, haven't you?

  • GOP wants to return the US to 1811.

Why not make this sort of deal with the republicans: they can get the legislation and rights situation of 1811 if they so wish, but on the sole condition that the US territory would be adjusted to match.

  • Ok, so here are Democrats going against the rich because of all the corruption that allot of them perpetrate through corrupt corporations that end up cutting pay checks, out sourcing jobs, laying off thousands of Americans but still getting richer through loopholes, etc. Then there is the Republicans who are going against the poor and the middle class so they can make their rich corporate friends even richer. I just don't get it...

  • We don't "gotta vote" for Obama.. We'll just not vote.

  • @elviolette

The electoral results are chosen from the counted votes. And if the voting count hovers above 50% of the voting populace, then it is in any case a minority of the country that picks the next president (unless the vote is unanimous).

  • I think we should let the GOP have their way with this budget. Let me try their theoretical economic policies, and lets see what happens. I'm willing to bet that one of two things will happen: (a) the trickle down effect actually happens or (b) 95% of the country become so poor that they will storm the Bastille. Either way, we all know who to congratulate or blame when it's all said and done.

  • Somewhere out there, in a lowly lit room, Mr. Burns taps his fingertips together and calmly says "Excellent. . ." after hearing of Paul Ryan's proposal.

  • The GOP plan in a nutshell: If poor people want healthcare they should choose to be born to a rich family.

  • @rjbonacolta lol awww have you been drinking that dastardly liberal koolaid? lol youre a brain washed liberal and a govt leech if you seriously believe that...

  • @rjbonacolta or you can go out and get a job and pay for it yourself?

  • @rjbonacolta i say that any politician who votes for these cuts should also take a HUGE pay/benefit cut to the level of their struggling constituents

  • @rjbonacolta Liberal plan in a nutshell: If you want shit, force someone else to pay for it.

  • @Houshalter ---

More likely, force somebody who has an abundance of money to share so we don't have a fucking starvation casev or they are free to move abroad, there are open borders, at least for rich white people.

Ofc profits > helping people in your world.

Profits profits profits. It's like a paradigmatic indoctrination completely embedding your country.

  • @underbjorn so profits = property rights < central planning and welfare schemes? O_o

    Talk about indoctrination.

  • @Houshalter ---

Haha I know you love to put your own wicked words into my mouth and you Americans are so afraid of socialism that you think even liberals are commies, ridiculous, but lemme tell ya something.

I am not against profits per se, I think a market economy is the way to go, but I am against maximizing profits as a divine goal, therefore I am against a deregulated market economy.

I am against central panning but clearly for the welfare state. Property rights? Yea sure.

  • @underbjorn You are against central planning, but for central planning in regulations and welfare?

  • @Houshalter ---

Well duuh "central planning in regulations"? What does that mean, do you think somebody else than government should decide regulations? Corporations should? xD

Central planning in welfare, of course, I am not going to let non-elected company directors take over the role of democratic government.

  • @underbjorn Central planning is the idea that a small group can run the lives of 300 million people they don't even know better then they can. They can't. You can complain all you want about corporations and companies, but they act to meet a market demand where as the state only exists by force. You think government is democratic? #LOL . Rulers are elected by about 10-20% of the population, most of which are uninformed anyways.

  • @Houshalter ---

Yes that we see in the United States, sadly many uninformed idiots think Eurpe is plan economy and thinks their country is number one in anything really, just a fucking sad day for enlightenment.

"Market demand" is where the one with most money decide all production. The state exists as a force? Move to Somalia then if you don't want a state.

Oh forgot, Republicans love big govt when it comes to exactly force; army, overseas bases, military welfare to Israel, they love it.

  • @underbjorn yes, welcome to the hell that is American nationalism. May the flag humping begin!

"'Market demand' is where the one with most money decide all production."

What's the point in explaining all this if you can't even understand some extremely basic economic premises? This idea that if someone has $1 more than someone else then they automatically force the other into poverty by somehow outbidding them in everything is ridiculous. No, they simply get one dollar worth of stuff more.

  • @Houshalter ---

You don't understand macro economics, you are probably one of those stupid, simplistic Reagan zealots who thinks countries are run like companies and households. Stupid American.

  • @underbjorn Reagen was a hypocrite and a ridiculous straw man of the "ideology" (if you can call it that) I support. Seriously, what about libertarianism/capitalism is so hard to understand? It's the simplest system out there, and the least arbitrary.

  • @Houshalter cont... to tax us and to exist, since it does. Rights are man-made bullshit if I ever heard any. What you seem to forget is that we control the gov, that is if we actually put in the effort to. Gov is not some cabal or alien force that steals from behind your back and it's not a guy who comes with a gun and robs you; it's a means of AGGREGATING the interests of individuals. Now please name a country that runs using the free-market with no gov, or explain what would replace gov.

  • @tstruss912 rights are "man-made"? Obviously. So are states, and yes, all modern political philosophies accept property rights. They just usually give them to state instead of the individual. Some go as far as giving the majority of people (as opposed to a minority) rights over all property via democracy (although that has never been tried in real life either), but ultimately the only fair and consistent way to do it is to distribute property rights to all individuals.

  • @Houshalter Now your arguments are starting to sound more reasonable to me. Yea, we don't know what's possible until we try it, however, it should be well tested on the small scale first. I'm not even aware of anarcho-capitalism working on a small scale. If you have examples then please present them. Spain and Argentina both have a couple hundred "cooperatives" up and running in unison and they seem to work great via the "one worker, one vote" system. I would rather like to see that here...

  • @Houshalter ---

The absolute free market is as utopian and unrealistic as the perfect communist society, the govt can easily be replaced by other powerful enteties controlling society.

  • @underbjorn statism is a utopian and unrealistic ideology. It can not work in theory nor in practice. All it does is attract those same powerful entities you so fear to positions of power over millions of people.

Look, anything that can be done by a state, can be done by free individuals, so long as it doesn't violate the rights of others, in which case it would be wrong for anyone including the state to do it in the first place.

  • @Houshalter ---

You do realize that I am not one of you stupid Americans who are too blind to see that there are plenty of corporations who are way more powerful than governments worldwide, individuals are one thing, commercial companies are something else.

I have nothing against welfare provided by the Salvation Army or Red Cross but people shouldn't have to beg and beg their employer for money to an overpriced insurance. There must be some decency.

  • @Houshalter "but they act to meet a market demand where as the state only exists by force." Ya....what happens if you don't pay taxes? They fine you and send you letters. What happens if you don't pay the bank for your house or don't pay the dealer for your car? They send you letters and fine you. And if you ignore the letters? Well, then they come take your shit. BOTH use force, and rightfully so since you didn't honor the contract. Paying taxes is the PRICE for living in the USA!!

  • @tstruss912 is there like a "Church of statist dogma" somewhere I don't know about with rooms full of people like you getting paid to troll random youtube comments? There can't be that many people out there this stupid.

No, I took a loan from the bank or car dealer. Not from the state.

  • @Houshalter Statist dogma? Stupid? LOL Jesus christ. You got no argument huh? If you don't like our gov then move to another country or FIGHT TO CHANGE THE POLICIES YOU DON'T LIKE! You people remind me of babies or small children: I don't wanna..waaaaa! Name one country without a gov. Name one! You can't. It's a childish idea and the whole force thing is total bullshit. Ever hear of elections, unions, protests, or moving to Hong Kong (must be your paradise)? Get a clue you clown.

  • @tstruss912 It's Somalia, you are supposed to write in all caps "IF YOU DON'T LIKE POLICY X, YOU CAN MOVE TO SOMALIA, THEREFORE YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID!!111" Learn your own dogma before you spout it. You're like a creationist that doesn't know the 2nd law of thermodynamics line. If you are going to troll, do it right.

  • @Houshalter "No, I took a loan from the bank or car dealer. Not from the state" Do they use force, yes or no? Of course they do. (childish voice) But Tstruss, we have choiiiiceee. (pets idiot on head) Sure we do, little retard. We choose to make slave wages, and we choose to put corporate puppets into office. There are SO many alternatives, huh. It is Soooo much easier to control corporate power than it is to control our gov.Good night, little retard. Don't forget to eat your paint chips.

  • @tstruss912 see: property rights. The bank or car dealer owns the property it is loaning to me and so it can set conditions or refuse to loan it to me in the first place. The state has no legitimate claim to an arbitrary portion of every economic transaction made within arbitrary geographical boundries by default. If an organization can legitimately gain such rights, then there is nothing stopping me, the banks, or the car dealer from doing the same to you. I levy a 5% tax on you now. Pay up.

  • @Houshalter The Somalia thing was quite lame; I don't have a pre-packaged dogma. Perhaps you're projecting? Anyhow, an attempt was tried to start a free-market society based on Hong Kong (not Somalia...) and it failed, of course. Name one that has worked. If it's so simple and common sense then how come you can't name any? Banks own their property? Why? Because they print money out of thin air and lend it at interest? Not a very strong case for ownership. Gov DOES have have a "right"

  • @tstruss912 there have been many examples of functioning anarchist socities in the past, but how is some small community of people from an obscure political philosophy set up in a third world country supposed to compete with modern states that own almost all the resources and people in the world? Besides, if the status quo is right by default and we can't dare explore new ideas if they haven't been tried and rigorously tested in the past, nothing in society could ever change.

  • lol omgz the world is ending!!! they are cutting welfare, medicare and medicaid!!! ~ typical liberal (btw, we need to cut those and miltary spending)

  • @123trymeout

Just die slowly, like those people will do... Please?

  • @GTASA911 lol awww are you mad that you might actually have to get a real job and do something rather than live off the govt for the rest of your miserable life? lol thats cute

  • @123trymeout

Are you a millionare? Do you own a factory or two with portfolios across the globe? If the answer is no then guess what, according to the people running the republicans you're just a slave, same as the rest of us. The difference between you and us is that you don't know it, and our mutual owners love you for that; do you think that'll make things easier once they're done with you? See you at the barricades and enjoy dying for your own slavery.

  • @123trymeout

What about disabled people, poor people. People who have little change to make it here in society. And I have everything sorted out very good.

You are some brainwashed retard. Fuck off and shut up you loser.

  • @GTASA911 lol the republicans arent cutting it so much that it will make DISABLED people to be on the streets...but poor people? really? being poor isnt an excuse to steal other people's money then why should it be an excuse that they can steal other people's money (tax payer's money)? it shouldnt...they should have the opportunity to go to gov't workshops to pick up a trade skill...but not be on the govt's payroll...

  • @123trymeout

You really are stupid aren't you? People grow up in bad environments. There is being cut on schools and many other important things.

Explain to me why rich are getting less taxes while the middle class and low class get's fucked with cuts. Explain. The world isn't like the stupid fairytale you believe in.

People are getting less changes to make something of their life. Do you honestly think someone who grew up in a bad environment definately succeeds greatly in life?

  • @GTASA911 lolur gullible..yea people r always growin up in shit environments but some rise above the shit and become something of themselves..FACT: the people who live off of the govt r lazy. if they werent lazy then they wouldnt be living off the govt..schools are failing anyways massive education reform is needed..btw its middle class thats fucked not the poor, they get exempted from taxes..the problem is a lack of responsibility and self reliance of ppl, govt doesnt help that

  • @123trymeout what percentage of the population do you believe works off the population? 1%? probably less?

Guess what? Despite your little fairy tale, not everyone can rise up and make something of themselves. Someone has to do the 'lowly' work, not everyone can be rich.

  • @123trymeout So those Republicans who live off the government farm subsidies, are lazy as well right?

  • @MrTuraiOssa lol hm interesting point..but you missed my point..im talking about the people who have everything provided for them by the govt...people who live off yours and my tax payer money..those people are lazy and needs to be cut off the payroll...the govt is never your friend...and remember all politicians LIE!..but the illusion of cutting govt spending makes me happy but i seriously doubt anything will be cut at the end of the day...i dont trust the govt..can you blame me?

  • Get rid of poor people alltogether, just kill them all and give their posessions to the top 1%

  • How can Obama lose??

You do remember that some of the protesters were holding signs saying government hands of Medicare - (I know that those people should now vote for him) but, all I'm saying is - the american people - powerful stupid, powerful

  • The Republican plan is to actively destroy the American economy.

  • Yet the new F35 warplane will cost the USA a trillion dollars, which is more than what Australia is worth.

It's great to see that the USA has the right priorities in government.

  • Don't VOTE FOR EITHER! Just vote third party. It's better than these fuckers.
