Make sure you use straplocks, though. Duct tape wears out over time, and can give you a false sense of security-Wide metal washers work great on a budget. The move is acually a lot easier than it looks, as long as you have the right set-up (Strap locks, and a smooth, slippery strap)

Throwing neck-first is an easier throw.

Throwing body first provides an easier catch, and usually looks cooler. grab the neck with your pick hand for better balance.
