Red Hill, used to be hot. Went one summer as we would usually do and it was like the sea gave up the dead. Dead Sargo, Corvina, Crackers and Talapia all over tha place, DANG!!!! That was the last year we fished the Sea. I mean it stank! Millions of dead fish everywhere, Bombay, Niland, State Park, however those dead Talapia made absolutely the best catfish bait. Free fresh dead or sundried bait works!
Yep, big Corvina I intended to say. Oh yeah, Quail and Cottontail Wabbits we hunted as well. Big boulder bull frogs, made for some good eating!!! kept me out of trouble... Praise God!
Man when I was a boy coming up in Compton, my grandpa took me there for years, big Curving back in tha day and African Perch. Then down the road to the Wiser ponds, Finley, and Ramer Lakes. On down to the Alamo River for them FlatHeads. Man we would clean up I tell ya. Oh and let's not forget, The Coachella Canal, we would clean up there as well. Weirdos by the Res. Make sure you bring ya heater fa sho though. Oh and the grapes, dates, and watermelons we brought back were Bom.com as well!!!
Sure is. I did not have my light rods these were my catfish rods. just happen to stop there on way home from catfishing and just used my channel cat rod for them.
