if you had that lay at the back of your house in Northern Ireland where im from you would have the bomb disposal knocking at your door.. coffee jar bombs are famous here..
hey bro great output wat amps u pulling outa that badboy. what are the measurements for the plates. is the midle plate thicker? also im guesing the midle plate is positive and two outer ones are negative? what electrolyte are you using (bakeing soda.vineger.drain cleaner?) if the amp draw is fairly low than you have stumbled upon quite an efficient generator here i have studied quite a few cells and this one has the best out put for size any info would be much apreciated thanks.
@camroncrayfish hey, imnot sure with this generator i stopped using it, and have missed placed it :S. Im not sure what the amp draw was or the dimentions they were off cuts, all the plates were the same thickness. All i can say the battery was a race performance deep cycle.
Okay - Nice job, but this is a generator not fuel cell. A fuel cell would produce electriity not use it. Also, the hydrogen is not seperated from the oxygen....
So, this is a gas mixture generator. Like so many other videos here... You need to have seperate chambers each with it's own hose and positive for one of the chambers and negative charge for the other chamber to seperate the gasses.
I´m just doing my first hho generator, and something is wrong, I´m not getting great production, I thought your machine very eficient and I´d like more details to do the same project. Thank´s to the given attention!

normally during electrolysis, don't you want to separate the hydrogen and oxygen by collecting the gases from the anode and cathode plates in separate containers?

is that tea spoon of bicardanote soda realy usefull because i forget to do it and well... check my video out that i made of my hydrogen fuel cell. youll see what happend :P
you could use any thing so long as its S/S, the only thing that were counting is the surface area, but in some cases is better to use plate it consumes lesser time to make.
You have to remember that there is a net loss of energy from the conversion water->HHO. There will also be a significant loss during the combustion to convert back to water. From my research, the aggregate reaction is only approximately 30% efficient, which means you LOSE 70% of whatever energy you put into an HHO generator.
be careful you are not just makin hydrogen you are spliting water into hyrogen & oxygen if you put a light to it it could burn back to the bottle and explode.if you use plastic it will still explode and rip bottle open as a plastic bottle can take 160psi,big bang ear damage!
keep an eye on your connections ... I have seen too many like this go boom due to corrosion of the connections ... I am hopeing your container is a low mass plastic ... if its glass, you would not want to be near it if you get an internal spark ...
other than the safety issues you need to work on, it seems like a very productive device for its size ... hope you will provide output volume, amps, volts in your next presentation ...
have you made your 2nd hho generator bro?

just screw me!!!! i make all of these things and i am trying so hard to make one that outputs like this and yet nothing!!!!

why use stainless steel ? is there a reason ?
what about using aluminioum

that is not a hydrogen fuel cell.....wow the ignorance
talha318 2 years ago
Hydrogen fuel cells CONSUME hydrogen and creates electricity.
What you have here is the opposite, it consumes electricity and PRODUCES hydrogen. It's the exact opposite.
shambles9 2 years ago 4
Its not a fckn fuel cell its a bloody electrolytics cell!
TarenGarond 2 years ago
how did you get so much output
treyflip3losthispass 2 years ago
hay how many volts or amps are u using? to make that ?
maxey83112 2 years ago
do you add electrolytes to the water? bcoz I seen that are efficient.
SpeedMetal4635 2 years ago
Where's the fuel cell? All I see is a hydrogen generator. You should re-title your video.
dpark76 2 years ago 3
Why is the title "hydrogen fuel cell" when it's actually a water electrolytic cell?
A hydrogen fuel cell uses hydrogen to produce electricity, and you're not doing that in this video.
shambles9 2 years ago
Great output for the size...how many amps is the cell pulling...does the cell every get hot?
bcohen333 2 years ago
hate to be a pain but a Fuel Cell converts fuel to electricity. This is an electrolyser not a fuel cell

did you put anything special in the water or did you just used regular tap water?

ive made one with stainless steel wires. about 2.5 meters in total
are wires better or should i use stainless steel plates?

Regular tap water will corrode pates FAST FAST. Ue Distilled water only unless you want to buy new cells all the time.
shivercanada 2 years ago
that's why we are using S/S, the only deal with regular tap water is that it has more impurities unlike distilled water.
