So, we should just believe this clown? No fact checking, no videos, no official statements, no reporters quoting Romney?
Fits in with the typical liberal position of "say something enough, and it will become true"
As a Mormon, Governor Romney knows what it is like to be the subject of cultural bigotry, and the concept of him disqualifying a Muslim on religious grounds is laughable.
Nice try, liberals. Look what Obama has done to the country now. FAIL!
That's code for Romney meaning there's no way in hell he would appoint a Muslim to any cabinet position. And his population percentage excuse is hilarious when you consider how low a percentage of the population Mormons are, and that they are mostly concentrated in one place in the US, Utah. Unlike Muslims who live in many spread out and diverse areas of the country.
Verifier, so what are you trying to suggest with your rhetoric? Romney stated loud and clear how he hires staff...one their ability, etc. Mitt does not believe in "affirmative action." The Republican Party DO NOT believe in "affirmative action."
In view of 911, I would not hire a Muslim in the higher echelons of my cabinet, if I were president. Just imagine the backlash Mitt would get from the newsmedia and others if he did! I hate to imagine it. (Muslims are good peeps.)
Romney will be relay race hand-off runner from GWB, if elected. If you REALLY want to know what I am eluding, google the following search terms. [Romney,Mel Sembler, Freedom's Watch]read their agenda and affiliations, that will answer all your questions....
Nice lies MKB, Romney fought hard against gay marriage, it was because of democratic cronies like you and Deval Patrick that denied the people of MA the right to vote that gay marriage was forced onto our state. Funny how you can only win the argument if you lie, typical lib response.
Keep in mind, the National Review has also written about Romney's poor immigration record, his citing Hezbollah for US foreign policy, and how he enabled gay marriage.
Take it from a Massachusetts resident. The best thing Romney did in his one term was quit.
"More than the other primary candidates, Romney has President Bush's virtues and avoids his flaws. His moral positions, and his instincts on taxes and foreign policy, are the same. But he is less inclined to federal activism, less tolerant of overspending, better able to defend conservative positions in debate, and more likely to demand performance from his subordinates, we vote for Mitt Romney."
And what is the problem with that? Why would any candidate appoint a muslim to be, let's say, the Secretary of Defense of the United States of America... huh? Are you stupid or something??? I am not saying all muslims are jihadists but if we were living in 1939 you would not see one German in there either. Go find something else to do.
Where is the primary source? What is this world coming to? Do we actually believe everything people claim? As far as we know, this quote was just made up! I heard the socialist Clintons say, "I hate all Americans!!!! And all minorities!!!" Do you believe that? That's how stupid his resources are!
This is completly bogus. Mitt Romney was clearly misquoted and no one verified that quote. The Romney campaign from day one denied that story and no one else there has verified that the Governor said this.
Mitt Romney is the best candidate. If you need to make up quotes to bring him down, verify your facts.

Romney’s plan cuts Medicare, on which many elderly Americans rely.
Romney rocks my socks. I'm glad Romney isn't a racist and stocks his cabinet based on race, what a backwards bigoted act. You seem to think that, by default, all those who are Muslims are bigots and abusers and treat their significant others poorly. This is BS. A meaningless veil that you use to cover up your unwarranted prejudice against all Muslims. By your same pseudo-logic, no Christians should be involved in American politics either. I really didn't want to entertain you on any of this, but I hope one day you can recognize your prejudice and rid yourself of it.
At this moment in time. The most barbaric acts in the world are being executed by the hands of Muslims. I am a Witch, NOT a Wiccain. I do not trust any politician and have spent much time around them. I am NOT predjudiced. I examine facts...and I accept them. Barbaric acts are Barbaric acts, and cannot be viewed as something else.
As the current state of world affairs go, I do not believe a Muslim should be in a high level government position. I can't wait for all the hate comments I get back... no I am not a republican, dem, or anything else, I am not a racist, I am not a religious fanatic, atheist, or agnostic. I see countless interviews from so called American Muslims stating "I am a Muslim first then an American second" Everyone is scared of offending everyone. The Muslim faith is Archaic and plagued with trouble.
I do not trust any of the politicians. On the note that I touched on before, it was simply this... any belief system can be abused and funneled into extremist action. I am a Witch. Call me a pagan, or what you will, I am not a wiccain, I am what we ALL are...light and dark. The moment you examine hard facts and state your claim...everyone calls you predjudice. Right now, much brutality is being produced by the hands of muslims.
if you consider bush and other folks controlling things christians, then you can also see that much brutatlity is being produced by their actions. Torture, deaths of innocent civilians, perhaps 1 million, secret detentions, etc. That's a pretty decent amount of brutality. And there is evidence that some involved see it as being related to spreading Christian values (Crusades-style).
It's cool that you see yourself as not being a member of the groups you mention... I wouldn't be too sure of my objectivity though... you must've heard of some of the ridiculous and outrageous beliefs of both Christians and Jews, or Mormons; their faiths are quite archaic and full of trouble (check out the Bible). When I hear "so-called ___" it reminds me of other times when it has introduced something hateful. Just a thought.
Romney just explained his stance and this guy is trying to turn his response around. How is this news? Romney just said that he has people of various back grounds and ethics working for him. I did not hear him say anything about muslims, should we asume that he is against them? He does not have to answer this question. Get real America!
Heehaw! Heeeeeehaw! Heeeeaaaaw! Heeeeehaaaaaaw! Jackass. Muslim cabinet member would be a great asset. Let me tell ya why. Theres billions of them, and they count. I pray for them every night, that the lord keeps them and saves them and blesses them, in Jesus name I pray. A Muslim is of utmost importance in any cabinet in the future.
Electronic voting machines must be thrown in the middle of the Pacific Ocean . Electronic Voting machines could never be trusted. If hackers can break and have broken into NORAD = "The North American Aerospace Defense Command" DON'T you IDIOTS think a stupid voting voting machine that was built for and by 1 of Bush candidates contributors could be hack IN? and the manufacture of the electronic voting machine promise Bush he would get elected again! AND HE DID!. = WAKE UP!.
have u ever come close to these machines, except election day? u couldnt nobody could and certainly not unsupervised by dem and rep officials. but, its true that the software is easy to hack and that votes could be skimmed off, say every 16th goes to dem or rep. after the election the program would be reset to default and no proof of tampering could be found. possible in theory(especially liberal conspiracy theory) not in practice.

We are winning the war in Iraq, the mere fact that the liberal mainstream media is not reporting on Iraq shows the amazing success we are having on the ground there. As part of a military family, I supports the troops and their mission for VICTORY. Romney is on the right side of the issue, supporting the surge and the troops. Obama and Clinton on the other hand are old news, they still can flip flop (which they will do when they win the nomination and sell out the dopey far left).
Next week im taking my vacations in Iraq im planing to go everywhere and take pictures and videos in general have a good time. They say the Iraq night clubs are the best in the world you really get a bang for your dollars!.
Mitt wants to continue the war and that's unacceptable. The illusion of races keeps us blinded to the real issues. Get over it, no matter the color of our skin we are all as important as each other. Love is the key. Peace is the way. Gratitude is the only real currency. Thank you all for reading. ;-P
The question wasn't "would he have a muslim in his cabinet" it was "would he have a muslim as head of national security in his cabinet". Well since Muslims are trained not to respect state laws, but only Muslim laws, then it would not be in our national security's interests for them to head security, since they would probably let Saudi Araba and Iraq do what they want with us.
You seem very proud of yourself regurgitating a half reported story. Mitt Romney has responded to the alegations in that article much the same way as he did in the first clips, you show. He also explained that he was rejecting the notion that he had to have Muslims in his cabinet based on numbers. He reiterated that he would select his cabinet based on qualification, not checking off boxes.
He could just have been making a statement of statistical fact. If <1 percent of the American population is muslim, then that's the percentage of qualified cabinet members there would be who were muslim, all else being equal. More than 1 percent of the cabinet being muslim would represent bias.
Muslims have been trying to take over the world one country at a time for centuries. Why? Because that's what it says to do in the Koran. Then they will force everyone to accept Islam as their one and only religion, or be killed. Islamic muslims should not be included in our government due to its demands.
Indeed, that shouldn't be a qualification one way or the other. It occurs to me, though, that it would be a rather brilliant diplomatic move to name a muslim secretary of state. But then, of course, the question becomes "from which sect of islam?"
You'd also have the asshats in the Muslims community (every community has them) who see this as proof that if they keep up the terrorism Americans will convert.
Thank You. Look man I apologize but getting upset over hitting the wrong typing key is not something I usually get upset over.I read mispelled comments here all the time and can usually figure out what they are saying without turning into a elementary grammar teacher. Peace.
Well dogwagger since I have no idea what you are talking about I will assume you are another mindless Paulbot or a mere asshole. Eithe way I really don't care.
Its not a conspiracy idiot. John Kerry, Clinton family and the Bush family are in the Skull & Bones Secret Society. Its all here on youtube, Meet the Press, Interviews. Its facts that your too dumb to notice. By the way...you misspelled "conspiracy"...hahahah. Dumbass. Do research than respond.
I just can't help noticing how stupid your resources are. Has it ever occurred to you that the internet is full of lies, written to further someones agenda? I can't believe you said, "google it."
Hey, so is TV and newspaper, buddy! The same mainstream news you're rotting away your brain with on TV is on the internet too. The only difference is there is more freedom of press on the internet. Example? Youtube!
If Romney believes that then he wouldn't stack his administration with Jews who are less than 2% of the population. Of course we all know he would just like every other previous administration has, particularly Bush. Cohen, Wolfowitz, Mukasey, Libby, Bolton...
Yeah, no. I don't think the world is ready for enlightened atheistic humanism in a world leader. Maybe sometime in the next century. Hope I'm wrong though!
I am very tolerant of religion overall but someone who believes you can't understand the Bible unless you look at it through a couple of rocks and since the rocks are lost you have to take the word of someone who says he looked at the bible through these rocks is somewhat scary. If the guy picked up and ate some mushrooms with a purple nipple before allegedly finding these rocks it would make more sense.
I mean no specific disrespect to any of the world's religions, but I haven't seen any claims that are *more* credible - they all sound equally bizarre and unlikely to me.
I'm pretty tolerant of religion, but someone who believes that some man built a huge boat and put two of every animal on it is crazy.
Every religion has some pretty crazy beliefs!! Religion is based on faith too. Which is believing something you can't prove to be true. So your argument is quite flawed, bigoted, and hypocritical!
Mitt Romney seems like he could be a model for selling super expensive yaghts. Whereas George Bush will likely want to slap his name on an aircraft carrier.
I love your videos, so please take this criticism in kind, you ended you story with "so if that quotes true...", that's a Foxnews technique, much like "some people say...".
Your a journalist, confirm and verify your talking points!
Thanks for the reply and I agree with your comment. Right after I left my comment I realized I could have phrased it better, and I also noticed that Josh sited his sources in the description, which means people like me can look it up for myself. Too bad Josh didn't have an audio/video clip of Romney contradicting himself, that would have really made the point!
Of course he is not going to welcome people different from himself into his inner circle. His religious background instilled in him a belief that people of color are less than human. The only reason the mormons had the 'revelation from God' that made blacks human was because a black man threatened a lawsuit when he wasn't allowed to move up in the church hierarchy.
I like how you think you can just write mormon beliefs like your their church leader. They have never said that people of color are less than human. People that ARE mormon have said that, but their church has NEVER said that. If you go back in time far enough every religion has it's racist moments. Everyone was racist! You can't judge a person on what his/her great grandparents believed. Now that's bigotry.
Romney defending his lack of diversity in his inner circle gave me a flashback to Reagan defending his own lack of diversity. Romney's idea of America is not reflective of its reality, but instead of whitebread bigotry. You could've just as easily asked him about gays in positions of power as muslims and his answer would've been the same.
I wonder if like Regean, he might go for a Southern Strategy approach and assure racist voters thats he's racist too. Regean did it with his Philadelphia speech, wonder if Romney would too.
this is the statement that killed irony. Really? A democratic country such as the US not allowing citizens of certain ethnic and religious backgrounds to partake in the American political process? Really. I thought Lincoln helped to end this when he decided black people are worthy of being treated like humans, or when the MLK Jr. spoke out about the Jim Crow, or when the feminist movement took hold... Really??
Wanna know the thing that scares me the most? Deep down, when I think about taking up the cross or see movies like Kingdom of Heaven... I get a little excited. At moments like that I realize that I've been brainwashed somewhat. Then I imagine how I'd feel if people invaded and destroyed my country... something tells me I'd likely sew a cross to my jacket and lay roadside bombs.
I can identify with your last 2 sentences. I've thought the same. If the tables were turned (the east had a superior military and the US basically had none), how would I react to invaders who "knew" that Sharia law was best and the US should be run by clerics and imams, and they were here to install that type of govt. I'd be out planting IED's too!
The Mormon church has a very racist history. As recently as 1978, blacks were not allowed to hold leadership positions. Somebody needs to ask him about that. He was 32 when the church finally changed their racist policies.
Keep in mind, while stumping in Iowa, at the same time he was playing governor, he used the term "tarbaby", claiming ignorance of it as a racist term.
Isn't Mansoor Ijaz the businessman with Sudanese oil assets who lied to the Clinton Administration about Sudan being willing to negotiate the surrendering of Osama bin Laden so they would lift trade sanctions?
He didn't have any Sudanese oil assets, though he was interested in doing investment management of the profits from oil exports once Sudan became an exporter. I found a page that sums up the events you are referring to. Go to sourcewatch(dot)org and type "mansoor ijaz/sudan" into the search box.
Romney denied knowledge of the stem cell investments in his stock portfolio, practice that is in opposition with his conversion as an anti-abortion candidate.
Romney, who holds assets worth between $190 million to 250 million also invests in casino operators, AN OIL COMPANY THAT DOES BUSINESS WITH IRAN, and a firm with cash linked to the genocidal Sudanese government.
he only said that on the situation room because he was trying to save his bum. it would look bad otherwise. but, that doubletalk creates a lot of problems in our society. but who knows? maybe it was the way the questions were presented? maybe it's because of outstanding circumstances and not because he's a republican douchebag (but, probably not).
Do you have more of this episode? Apparently, I was on it, with the only video thats in my profile.

Call me a pagan, or what you will, I am not a wiccain, I am what we ALL are...light and dark. The moment you examine hard facts and state your claim...everyone calls you predjudice. Right now, much brutality is being produced by the hands of muslims.
ChristopherDering 4 years ago
you are definately right, in the last statement.
if you consider bush and other folks controlling things christians, then you can also see that much brutatlity is being produced by their actions.

= WAKE UP!.
UnitedOffensiveIII 4 years ago 2
have u ever come close to these machines, except election day? u couldnt nobody could and certainly not unsupervised by dem and rep officials. but, its true that the software is easy to hack and that votes could be skimmed off, say every 16th goes to dem or rep. after the election the program would be reset to default and no proof of tampering could be found. possible in theory(especially liberal conspiracy theory) not in practice.

Sherlyjames 4 years ago
You seem very proud of yourself regurgitating a half reported story. Mitt Romney has responded to the alegations in that article much the same way as he did in the first clips, you show. He also explained that he was rejecting the notion that he had to have Muslims in his cabinet based on numbers. He reiterated that he would select his cabinet based on qualification, not checking off boxes.
5M1L3 4 years ago
He could just have been making a statement of statistical fact. If <1 percent of the American population is muslim, then that's the percentage of qualified cabinet members there would be who were muslim, all else being equal. More than 1 percent of the cabinet being muslim would represent bias.

Muslims have been trying to take over the world one country at a time for centuries. Why? Because that's what it says to do in the Koran. Then they will force everyone to accept Islam as their one and only religion, or be killed. Islamic muslims should not be included in our government due to its demands.

grazon 4 years ago
Indeed, that shouldn't be a qualification one way or the other. It occurs to me, though, that it would be a rather brilliant diplomatic move to name a muslim secretary of state. But then, of course, the question becomes "from which sect of islam?"

Of course he is not going to welcome people different from himself into his inner circle. His religious background instilled in him a belief that people of color are less than human. The only reason the mormons had the 'revelation from God' that made blacks human was because a black man threatened a lawsuit when he wasn't allowed to move up in the church hierarchy.
lookingforananswer 4 years ago
I like how you think you can just write mormon beliefs like your their church leader. They have never said that people of color are less than human. People that ARE mormon have said that, but their church has NEVER said that. If you go back in time far enough every religion has it's racist moments. Everyone was racist! You can't judge a person on what his/her great grandparents believed. Now that's bigotry.
mattjbudd 4 years ago
exactly when i joined the church my bishop told me that the Church is true and perfect the people in it arent .
alby451 4 years ago
