  • What exhaust do you have it sounds awesome.

  • @Broncofivepointslow Thanks man. I have the BBK LT headders, MAC Prochamber with Borla Stingers on the back

  • Man, somethin is wrong here... If I had full bolt ons, cam + supporting mods, a blower + supporting mods runnin at 8 lbs.... I'd be in the 600hp range without a doubt. Not that I'd ever pickup a crappy blower, last thing these V8's need is more torque off the line and I have no intentions of tubbing my street car and runnning slicks to handle the low end power lol. LS1 ftw.

  • @need2speed94 well this is a mustang and that is a LS1. Not the same car. And dont even start with this "chevy is greater then ford" shit because all it takes money and you could build any one faster the other. Yeah, its cheaper with a LS1, but so what? Mustangs look nicer to some people you know ;) This blower is easily capable of support 600+ rwhp. The fact that I use a track blower @ 8 psi should make you wonder its real potential when it pushes its full 20+ lbs of boost. kids..

  • @swooshonln actually I got a buddy with a T Trim on his **LT1 @12psi making 650 at the wheels. Hell an LS1 would be in the 700whp range. And I've heard they're good for about 750hp. BTW I never said anything about it being a mustang and that camaro's are better. I just thought it should be making more power with the mods it has. Obviously an LS1 would make more but basically I was actually expecting this motor to perform better than what it did, maybe its detuned/problems/high alt. who knows.

  • @need2speed94 Lol of course you have that "buddy" Even if that is somewhat true, your forgetting the 4.6 is a 281ci motor. LT1 is a 350ci motor and the LS1 is a 346ci motor. Make it somewhat fair, let the owner of this Mustang stroke his motor to a 5.3L and run 15psi. See what it does then

  • @shauncx1477 15 psi on a stroked cast 4.6? That won't hold that much boost stock. Maybe if you pickup some better internals with that new crank. And even if it could hold 15 psi it'll probably make around 5-600hp with a t trim right? I'm looking to pickup a turbo kit for my car that makes 4-500hp on a conservative 8psi. Once I go forged, it'll be making at least 12psi and 600+. BTW I was never hating on the 4.6 in the first place... actually thought it should be makin more, thats all.

  • @need2speed94 all good man. It is de-tuned and it runs pig rich. Because it is the stock motor I specifically told the guy tuning my car to put a diaper on it. I had a 3.33" inch pulley initially making almost 460 on 10 lbs and that scared the hell outta me so we went up to a 3.6" pulley. I am at the limits of the stock motor already you know?

  • @need2speed94 You wouldnt hit 600rwhp on stock heads and 8psi. GTFO with that bs. His car with 18psi would clip 600rwhp easy on stock heads.

  • I'm not a huge Ford guy but this is a nice clean car. Sounds nice and puts down some good numbers. I've wanted to build a boosted engine but I can't justify the cost of a S/C kit when I can make more HP/TQ with a N/A motor for less money. (up to a certain extent obviously) haha I'm a Chevy guy but nice car man. I would be interested to see what you can put down with a forged bottom end. Good luck with it!

  • built motor im guessing?

  • @Sk8FalIen nope, only thing internal that is not stock is cams, valve springs & retainers

  • @swooshonln how? I thought these 2v motors could only handle 450 rwhp max...either way nice car

  • @Sk8FalIen well the car current is only on 7 lbs of boost now making ~430 rwhp. Boost #'s are what kill these motors most of the time. You have a stock head/cam 2v that wants to make 400+ so they have to crank the boost up to 12+ lbs and that in turn puts a lot more stress on the motor. Not denying that I am in the danger zone, but if managed right its possible to sit there nice and cozy for at least a few years :) Of course I want to build a motor... but I decided to buy a bike instead haha

  • Hey i have an 03 Gt with comp 262's. I just bought a used partial v1 t-trim kit from a 96 cobra for $800! I have an intercooler and am ordering a bracket to fit my car. I was wondering if i could use any of the stock vortech piping or if i would have to get them custom made? I dont want to order them if i dont need them. Thanks and SICK car!

  • @YaBoiDezz Hey man, glad you like the car :) You will love that blower once you get it working. Is this going on a GT? What year? what have you done to it? I can help you figure out a pulley size if you are unsure what you need. As far as the stock vortech piping, are you referring to the intake/discharge assemblies? Did the inter-cooler come with any piping? The kit I bought came with all the piping I needed, we just had to cut it up here and there to get it to fit right. let me know

  • @swooshonln Its a 2003 GT and its got compcams (xe262ah) , an o/r H pipe, flowmasters, steeda pullies, cold air/throttle body/ plenum. I was referring to the intake/discharge assembly. The intercooler does come with piping so i guess im set there. Do you know how much boost my steeda pullies are going to rob me of? lol I want to run 6-8 psi to keep it safe so what supercharger pulley should i use?

  • @YaBoiDezz My buddy has those same cams actually. We are installing an intercooler on his GT right now and it should be done tuning by the end of the week. If you keep in touch, I will update you on the numbers it makes. I will be honest with you and say I have not worked with under-drive pulleys before. I am not sure if they will change your setup. I ran a 3.33" to make almost 10 lbs, and I now run a 3.6" now to make almost 8 lbs of boost. If you run a powerpipie, U can do ~9-10 on 3.6 probably

  • @swooshonln Thanks alot for the info man. I will definately want to know the numbers he puts down.

  • @YaBoiDezz he picked up about 30 rwhp and made about 425/386. going to the shop tomorrow and seeing whats going on with an eaton swap

  • that's non-intercooled, and stock cams, BTW

  • I am running 10 Psi on my stock 01 2V. I am running a 3.125 pulley on my V2/SQ with a full STEEDA Q400 tuning package, BBK Ceramic L/T's Catted H Pipe and MAC catback. On the dyno? 410 RWHP/396 TQ. Drop a pulley size and watch you gain an EASY 20-30 RWHP/TQ

  • damn awesome numbers

  • what kind of exhaust man it sounds awsome

  • @speedman2020 thanks man. BBK LT's, Mac O/R Pro-chamber, Borla Stingers Catback

  • what cams are they in this vid

  • @eric2vgt Comp Cams XE270AH Stage 2's (with aftermarket springs+retainers)

  • im running 10 psi on a v2 s trim but im only putting down 360 to the tires. 475 on crank but cool video

  • @03blkstanggt a little optimistic on your crank calculations. usually through a manual tranny you lose about 15%. 360/.85= 423.53

  • @mell00ut5 im in an automatic

  • nice man! I have a 8 psi pulley now! and a build motor! I am just wanted to know what pulley will be the best for my vortech!

  • do you have a stock motor?

  • @gamarrita1999 yeah for now. Not for long, haha. That is with a 3.33" pulley. I am putting a larger pulley on for now and will be closer to 400 on about 6 lbs of boost. Once I forge the motor I will then crank it up to ~10-12lbs and should be able to break 500 w/out much trouble.

  • @swooshonln Why not like 15?
