That parent waited til the 4th grade, 5 years of Gov't schooling to address the issue. A little slow, 'eh. Home is a big part of the problem. That coupled with, or magnified by, unwillingness and lack of discipline on the part of the student. A kid who truly can not read after 5 years of school needs to be places on a vocational track.

Yea, My mom ignored the teachers because they were harrasing her about putting me in SPED. Lolz!!! They kept calling and calling so much that my mom ignored them... They couldn't get a hold of her anymore so they tried to send a note off with me, but I thought it was a note for something that I did so I never gave it in to her.  I'm in all normal classes... Lolz!!!

@Crayolapup I don't see how that's funny. You'll now get a poor education bc these programs are meant to help you and are tailored to your specific learning needs and strengths. You'll be happy in the long run, smarter, and go farther if you fix this ass soon as possible.
