@itsjustchris there's no science to it; just a lot of trial and error. I mostly palm mute on the accented notes and then the unaccented notes are soft enough that they don't need muting.
its a shame garbage like Ke$ha and Justin Beiber are super well known and guys like this with legit talent are only on youtube and all to often over looked...
