Looking for the outside of this I see a new technology trying to compare to the standard. It know for a fact that the HP to weight ratio will need major improvements to compete with the top Pro Stock teams in drag racing. The bike he raced was not one of the top teams (no offense) but the killacycle running 7.89 when the top Pro Stock team runs 6.860 @ 197.45 mph. One second is a long long way away.

Killacycle now does 7.89-168MPH and STILL uses only $0.07 per run.

But it's hard to compare a 1000hp and 100000usd

gas powered motorcycle with a 350hp and 40000usd electric motorcycle.

Killacycle is far in advance in any point.

Alex check your facts boy. A standard complete racing Pro Stock bike will run about half of what you said and nowhere near the horsepower rating you give it. Most Pro Stock bike have around 300HP. The 100HP are for Top Fuel Bikes dumbass. Killacycle's smartass developer stated that he was pushing out 400HP. So your comparison is stupid at best. The only difference is the power plant. The rolling chassis are the same. He will have to fine another second and 30+mph to get to the Pro Stock record.

The guy was an ass. He's was just angry his archaic gas engine might lose. They've been dragging gas engines for 50 years. Electric with new battery tech (Like A123) for only 2. They electric WILL eventually win. Gas engines need to die for more than foreign oil reasons anyhow. Do you realize how much we spend on vehicle repairs? The simplicity of an electric vehicle makes it far more reliable.
