@ToriGirlytar Thanks Tori! It is definately a blast of a gizmo!! I still jam with it often! I had no clue what I was doing when I did this vid 2 years ago...just a bunch of guess and go playing! lol
Very nice, I just bought an eBand too. BTW, is there a way to string together some of the shorter patches to create an entire backing song? For example, P089 is only 22 seconds long, and looping it forever is boring...Is there a way to string P089 for 4 measures, then something else for 2 measures, etc..?
@terryoyama Hey there! That sounds like a really cool idea, but as far as I know, there is no way to do that on the eband by itself....you can however use a DAW and record the various bits of the patches and edit them together there and then bounce that to a memory card and insert back to the Boss unit. This will allow the playback of all your loops and also allow you to use the effects of the Eband while jamming along with the track....Hope that helps!
@gert125555 I haven't actually connected mine to an amplifier head itself, but I have connected to a 300 watt mixer amp and it works just fine!! All the effects are built into the eBand, so they are there no matter what you output to! If your just wanting volume and are by yourself, you can get some good headphones and it gets very loud as well!
Nice work. I'm wondering how the internal speakers sound on this unit and after hearing 'em, will I rush off to get a pair of studio monitors or is the JS8 loud enough to enjoy using in my bedroom? I can't imagine any bass whatsoever coming out of those little speakers. Thanks!
It's actually not a pedal....It's a small machine, I guess you'd call it...The backing track is already on it. I think there are 300 total, and they are several different genres...rock, metal, country, jazz, etc....
If you do a search for Boss JS8 eBand, you can kinda see what it is..nice practice situation for me, and I can take it when I travel to work out of town every week...I only get to play on weekends 1 or 2 days, so maybe this will help!
Oh sweet! I didn't know that! It's a cool little machine though. And yeah that could be really handy for "practice-on-the-go" situations. I want something like this one day.
Hey that was great...Did you record that right to the audio for your video?...I am wondering about useing that in movie maker..record video, backing track and guitar all at once?..let me know if you would please?...thanks again and good job
@mikesoland - Thanks man! This was my first experiment with this machine, and what I did here was use the output RCA jacks with a special connector that is RCA to Guitar Jack....I plugged the guitar jack into my M Audio interface and recorded backing and lead simultaneously to my Ableton software. I used a program similar to movie maker to download the vid and the recording. I muted sound from the video and used the recorded music in sync...If that's confusing, let me know....I'll try again! :)
COOL Al! What a fun toy!
I think I might get one!

Hi,
I want to know if it is possible to connect this baby in to an amp if you want more output then those speakers can deliver and use all the effects?

Just would like to know can you down load mp3 back tracks to the eband. thanks
chest002 1 year ago
@chest002 Yes you can. You can plug an MP3 player in and "capture" tunes or you can use a USB device also.
Thanks for watching and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask!

Thanks Man!!
Yeah, this little thing is just fine by itself for jamming in your bedroom! Of course, more speakers never hurt a thing either!!! LOL
The quality of the sound is quite amazing.....and you even have a headphone jack to really intensify the sound!
Thanks for watching and commenting!

That's a neat pedal. Did you record a loop on it or something?
