Not really. Cedar Point is owned by Cedar Fair which also owns Carowinds. Afterburn/TopGun is a B&M coaster, and so is Raptor. Raptor came out a few years back before Afterburn/Topgun came out. and i think Afterburn/Topgun is a editted version of Raptor.

I love this ride at carowinds I live near charlotte I have rode this ride before and they have a bilt in video on the bars that strap you in but this guy was holding a video camera and I can see that this wold be very hard sweet video GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND HAVE A GREAT YEAR.

I loved that roller coaster so much! It doesnt feel like your going upside down, but that roller coaster was sweet! But I went on it at night and the place where the fog was it was all black lighted and fog was everywhere and it was sweet! I also went on Night Hawk at night, that was fun as hell!

OK so IDRK why i ever rode this. But I remember my friend saying "are you ready?" when we were going up the hill and me saying "NOOOOOOO!!!". I wanted to scream "GEMME OUTA HERE!" Like a baby. Thankfully I didn't and I loved it. Almost threw up afterwords though lol

Tip:

Whenever you go on a roller coaster. Eat loads before you go on it. Make sure it has a loop. Sit at the front. When your upside down on the loop or a quater of the way up be sick and the people at the back should get sick all over their head worked when i did it once.!!!!

This ride is now known as the Afterburn. I wish that they didn't change the name of it. The first time I went to Carowinds I was so scared of this ride. But I was really young. I can't remember how young. But that was like four or five years ago. This year I went back and I was still scared of it. It was the first ride I rode this year, but it was the only ride that I tucked my head in and closed my eyes the whole time on. I'm still scared, but I'll over come my fear the next time I go. lol.
