@princessguardian After Oliver got off the island with Mercy he went in search of a mentor and trainer kinda like how Batman went in the Himmalyas. Well Oliver's mentor taught him everything he knew about archery and the art of it. And the final test was Oliver vs his mentor. Oliver won and was supposed to kill his mentor as a sort of code but refused. So the Dark Archer aka his mentor came back for revenge and was going to kill Mia aka ollivers student in retaliation.

@MackieDavid Well, his origin story is the same. He has Mia as his female sidekick Speedy, and Dinah is Black Canary in their Justice League. Considering that Smallville is really just an elseworlds story, he's surprisingly close to his comic interpretation.

@FaxModem1 I was starting to think that, and I'm glad its not just clark kent who's story is main focus but like green arrow, lex and the rest =P I found out that they only brought him in because they wasn't aloud batman due to some laws and i think it's paid off, green arrow has such an interesting storyline that hopefully he wil turn out to be EXACTLY as the comics books interpret. :D

@MackieDavid Well, he's not exactly like his comics interpretation. Green Arrow in the comics has a better sense of humor for one, but yes, it's great that because of the Bat-embargo, we got to see Green Arrow in live action.
