At 9:56, what if Sato made S-7f? Because it defends from pawn promotion, and if Habu decides to drop the Bishop, then he can always drop that middle-block pawn, right? Plus, Rook is defending that Silver from any attacks.

btw, mind to explain that lets say satou didn't play Silver 8i, what is the best move here, and who will win at the end of the game?

Habu was the challenger to Kisei in this term's title match, and he took the title from Satou. Habu had been Kisei before this, of course. He once achieved grandslam, in which he hold all the seven major titles at the same time.

Other than S*8i, he should have made an attack to Habu's King. P*5b, or G*4b, so on. Then It could have been still a difficult game.
