Lol my step-brother desperately wanted these things (or some similar product, it was years ago) - he ended up convincing our parents instead to get him these sneakers that had little wheels in the back of the heel, so if you lifted your weight a little you could glide instead of walk, and they popped out fully so with good balance and ankle control (there were no wheels in the front lol) you could half rollerskate everywhere.
