Use the Sonic Bow guys, this vid is crap, 40 minutes for a plesioth with white fatalis bow? If you're on MHFU then LBG is the way to go, bows got severely nerfed.

I agree with everyone else i havent been able to kill the Green PLesh and im still havent trouble even killing the first one ive got full Khezu armor with the sonic bow or the kutku stave and i still get slaughtered

This would be more helpful if you actually used a bow that was obtainable at HR5. I'm trying to do this quest with a Dragon Bow "Halo" and dear fucking god shit is impossible. Even with a pierce after every water shot, and wherever else I can get them in, I always time out! I end up burning through about 80 or so power coatings (I can only carry so many nitroshrooms) and another 30 or so poison ones.

back in mhf2 (this game) akantor bow was by far the best (highest bow attack w/+50 affinity anyone?) akantor bow would hav owned in about 20mins, just by continuosly firing pierce into the front of his head (obviously dodging his attacks)

you can get thunderbugs. 1= buy all the renovation of bugs, bug tree included 2= do the tower quest at 5* village quest with remobra, there would be somewhere great thunderbugs, bring bugnets and you will have 2 placed to catch them. Higher chance to get thunderbug.

Really should aim to bring that Sonic to at least a SB II, if not a III. Otherwise, you will run out of time with just an ordinary SB.

It will work on any Plesi, just adjust your tactics based on the area of the map you are in. KKStave will do fine, just take a bit longer.

Found my problem of dieing a lot, i didnt stand close to the edge and was getting hit by the water. Trapping then using two large barrel bomb+ helps a lot with bows i found out if you wanna make them

Hey I just beat him first try. I dont know what all the fuss is about this quest. I got the fin down before i even used the 50 clust s lv2. 19 crag s lv3 9 crag s lv1 and 3 clust s lv1 with a few flame s pretty much killed him. After the fin folded down I put him to sleep with some sleep s lv2 and then used 2 lg barrel bombs+ and a clust s lv2 for an awesome combo. Island of the gods pwns! Thanks for the advice.

Is it easy to do this quest with the light bowgun Island of the gods? I could bring 50 clust lv2 and 19 crag s lv3 not to mention flaming s and others. Would I need felyne heroics or adreniline +2 or maybe both. I'm not really a gunner so I dont know. I trained a bit in the training school and did every bowgun quest so i should be ready.

That's the Glorious Victory bow, aka White Fatalis bow, and it does 336 Raw and 270 Dragon damage. In G it upgrades nicely.

sorry to bother, but how do you deal with small hermitaurs??? to a blademaster is easy, but once they go running at you, its hard to deal any damage

They can be really annoying, in fact, they can cause you to get KO'd sometimes. Just shoot them from the ledge in the cave if you don't like to melee them with the bow.

Haha, it's surprising how annoying Dromes can be when using bows. To a blademaster, they're nothing, but I guess a lot of people have trouble meleeing Plesioth. I'm certainly not a fan.

Thanks! I have the Prominence, but chose the GV to make it easier. Since the element is your choice, lightening is the best way to go with Plesi.

you could try it with hr5 armour its pretty easy if you have a prominence bow and shoot straight down his head to his back. either way nioce vid
