  • @praks1993 The country was dying, and tradition also.

  • @RedSamurai84 Hello, did troops from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, etc. take part in Great October Socialsit Revolution parades of Moscow Garrison ?

Also, was similar parades held in the capitals of the SSRs, like Baku, Yerevan, etc ? Who used to inspect the troops in that case ?

  • @AfricanLion65 I do not have the answers to your questions unfortunately. You would have to find participants of the parade for answers.

  • NASHA RODINA CCCP!!!

  • Pause at 20:31 and you'll see the Pepsi logo!!

  • @thrashmetalfiend and what ? кэп блять

  • Yeltsin you son-of-a-bitch! Really when you think about it had the Soviet Union not collapsed we wouldn't have had Beslan, the Chechen Wars, 9/11, al-Qaida. I am an american and I respect the Soviets for being a fortuitous people. they have endured absolute hell. my ancestors defected to america before world war 2 . I'm proud to have russian blood. I hope that we can all get along one day.

  • @chillaxer1993 Russia will be great again

  • theres nothing quite like stalinist architecture. it's really nostalgic haha

  • who wants top start a new USSR with me?

  • @joser1996ful in all countrys?

  • @redsamurai84 Although not a communist/socialist, I would like to thank you for posting this w/ subtitles. I love studying Russian history and this is vital for me, so thank you, friend.

  • 20:33 check out the pepsi machine in the background. xD

  • I wonder why they play "VICTORY DAY" but not the usual "Long Live Our State" when Marshal Yazov conclude the inspecion tour?

  • @MrChenFRancis Actually its called Slavsya "Славься". Its traditionally played during Victory Day. But in this case because of the changing atmosphere of the country things were mixed up.

  • @RedSamurai84

Oh yes, "Slavsya", thanks for reminding me :)

  • I dont watch. I listen XD

  • What's Yeltsin doing in the masoleum? He was the Mayor of Moscow at the time right?

  • @MultiMinigun Yeltsin was not mayor. He held a much more important position as Chairman of the Russian Supreme Soviet. By this time he wasn't a member of the party and was disliked by Gorbachev but gaining support among the people of the Russian Republic.

  • @SuperUshistory Well, I'm afraid he was in the party, people called him the leader of the progressive wing of the CPSU, making reforms towards capitalism or something. Also, if Gorbatchev disliked him, so much of the Party disliked him too, specially the hardline ones, like Marshal Yazov.

  • @MultiMinigun He wasn't a member of the politburo. Ryzhkov was kicked out of his high posts, except for premier, because he was more conservative. He was against implementing maket economy so quickly. He was also for recentralizing, partly, the government to ensure stability. Gorbachev treated him pretty poorly by this time.

  • braca rusi !!

  • l often matches the backgroud color of a qarship in a sharper way

  • The final parade... for the time being, at least ;)

  • This is fascinating! I was only 3 years old when this occurred!

  • @TheEmpowered787 I was 6 at the time.

  • @RedSamurai84 I wasn't even born.

  • @RedSamurai84 And I a year from birth ;)

  • @RedSamurai84 We never understand what they mean really if we don't live in USSR in 80's. Nowadays lots of teenagers just love the old russian music and maybe the huge parades on moscow. So when they listen the music and the national anthem they want to USSR back they are didn't ''red'' They are just ''fake''

  • A little bit after 32:00, one of the soldiers almost takes out the microphone. lol

  • I Like this Video

  • Слава СССР!

  • I hope Putin continues to use more and more Soviet symbols, and can bring the mighty Russia back to its former greatness. Lord know's Putin wants to, he was a former KGB who witnessed the power of the CCCP, Russian's don't seem to have any new post Soviet strong national symbols that really represent the patriotism and pride that people have in their Russia. (it seems to me) ....maybe that is the reason for the return of so many Soviet symbols, & the Soviet National Anthem?

  • @kevinatkinson1986 Not only that, the return of the red star roundel in the Russian Air Force, Russian Army Aviation and Russian Naval Aviation too

  • @kevinatkinson1986 And to this day, Aeroflot is still using the Hammer & Sickle emblem. :D

  • а ЕБН там что забыл?

  • @TheGayestGuyOnEarth Ну так это пьяное существо занимало высокие партийные должности. Присутствие на параде - его обязанность

  • @deathtocapitalism К тому времени он уже вышел из КПСС

  • Mighty.. just mighty...

  • I just noticed a major difference in this parade. The Raions used banners instead of their usual district floats to represent them at the head of each demonstration column.

  • The 90s Soviet Union was strange. People there had McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and other things while still in the Soviet Union.

  • Никто Горбачёва не приветствует!

  • @germanseis1984 а хуль этого долбоеба приветствовать

  • what an irony, the Russian Communist Party, the direct heir of the Sovirt Communist Party, may very well the only hope if Russia ever wants to walk the path of a healthy European-style social democracy

  • The Cold War was a great thing in many ways. It was obvious that there was never going to be a Nuclear war, as each side knew that as soon as they launched their first missile the conflict was over. There is only one winner in a nuclear war - the war it's self !!!!

Trouble is these days where allowing Muslim nations like Iran to possibly get the bomb & they aren't afraid to use them. If the Americans don't stop it happening then Israel certainly will !!!

  • The last great Soviet parade! I do not condone everything the Soviets did, but there was stability in the world when the USSR was here. The US was not as anxious to start conflicts with Soviet power around as a check. There were crises, and nuclear war was a danger, but the military balance basically assured this would not happen. The world is more dangerous now, with several spheres of influence. I agree Gorbachev was a sellout and Yeltsin was a total failure. I just hope Russia will return

  • @tennisguyky wow that statement could not be more false. the US since WW2 has been involved in korean war, vietnam, panama, grenada, kosovo, desert storm, iraq, and afghan. thats more than a war/conflict a decade. now not all of those were during the days of the USSR but even the days that were, you guys still never really did shit. just supply our enemies. as we did against u. oh, and unless russia stops losing wars against shit holes like chechnya and afghan i dont see it returning anywhere

  • @soflo23 A war a decade it certainly not something to boast about young Yank. For a country to 'return to somewhere' it is not necessary to fight wars. I use fight instead of win as it seems America has done nothing except invade, spend a ridiculous amount of money, attempt to spread their Capitalist slavery, waste the lives of soldiers and return unsuccessful. Russia is a proud nation with pride,a hugely diverse history and importantly culture.

  • @priceyr nobodys boasting anything and unlike russia, the USA has won more wars/engagements than russia. last time i checked, N. Korea was unsuccessful in invading the south, iraq does not occupy kuwait, sadam does not control iraq, the taliban does not control afghan, osama is dead, noriega is in jail, escobar is dead, nicaragua, kosovo, grenada...should i keep going?? now as with most engagements we had help. but the bulk of troops came from the US. also, i never said russia lacked culture

  • @soflo23 True but what gives you the right to play world police in nations such as Iraq?? Your motives are cleverly disguised spreading liberty and freedom whereas in reality you are simply self gratifying yourself. I have done plenty of research on what America has done......and the lack of what they haven't. What about the Wall Street Crash 1929 American Capitalism certainly wasn't 'extensive' there...Hiroshima, 'moon landings,' so called arms race all attempted to bring about ww3.

  • @priceyr oh and also..capitalist slavery? whos a slave? not me. i live a great life making money, eating whatever, driving whatever, working whatever, traveling wherever, fucking whomever and so on. oh and "america has done NOTHING but invade"? really? maybe u should research up on everything the big bad US has accomplished and stop believing in the anti-US euro trash propaganda they feed u. im not at all trying to minimize russia's accomplishments, they just aren't as extensive as the US

  • @soflo23 oh and also....enjoy that Capitalist freedom. NDAA is overwriting your constitution which will sadly end online freedoms, introduce marshal law and can potentially detain you indefinitely without a trial . So enjoy working longer hours for less pay, driving with oil you obtained during your 'Policing' in Iraq, eating the corporate shit they throw down your throats and whatever other freedoms you imagine you enjoy.

  • @priceyr listen if it that happens then i'll pack up my shit and leave. but i ive heard this non sense all my life and still havent seen or felt it. the people who run america have a bigger agenda than u or i know. just because the news or an ex disgruntled employee says something does not make it true. america was established in 1776 and has risen to be a super power in a short time. i believe in this country. i wish our international policy was different and with time im sure it will change

  • @TheMotherEagle Gorbache v did not the traitor for me Yeltsin is traiter he betrayed CPSU and plan to dissolution USSR he seperated Russia from the other SSR and break the slavic state Russia Ukrain Belarus to establish f*cking new capitalism state

together in my opinion Gorbachev do not wrong anymore !!

  • Celebrating 73 years of failure

  • @ready2roll if it was a fail, then why was there even 73 year?

  • @AlekseyTimoshenko If it didn't, why didn't it last more than 73 years?

  • @ready2roll because of all the events that took place in its final years. but the end of the Soviet Union does not mean the end of Russia. Russia's still here, the Russian people are still here, our flag still flies, just different colors.

  • that march the band is playing at 53:00 isn't Invincible and Legendary?

  • @MultiMinigun yes, it is. but it starts on 52:26

  • man the anthem is depressing.

  • this is stupid how come the subtitles don't appear when he talks sometimes i don't get that.

  • А где покушение на Горбачева?

  • Thanks Gorbachev!

    I love you Gorbachev!!

  • 0:34 Serving every television station in the country, Programming of the east through the cosmic television system Orbit. This broadcast will be transmitted on channel Eurovision.

  • GORBACHEV GO TO HELL

  • FUCK YOU GORBACHEV!!!

  • Death to Gorbachev.

  • @jumpnjza2

    Why Gorby?

  • what does АЕНИН means? i first thought it had something to do with Lenin, but in COD MW2, i saw this word in several places. Would you mind to tell me what it means?

  • @MultiMinigun Ленин means "Lenin" in Russian.

  • @RedSamurai84 My good man, this name is Lenin In Russian language.

  • @eduardoandrade2008 Thats what I said.

  • @RedSamurai84 ,You' re a wise and good man.Thank you very much by your words.

  • Today the President of the Russian Federation is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Who was Supreme Commander at the time?

  • @nikolaievitch67 The Supreme Commander at that time was Gorbachev as President of the USSR and General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

  • Why did they delivered the speech and played the anthem before the inspection of the troops?

Also do you know why Gorbatchev doesn't salute during the anthem?

  • @nikolaievitch67 The country was going through very radical changes at that time, and it was the start to a new decade. Gorbachev, as leader probably wanted to "mix things up" a bit. But its only my guess.

  • @RedSamurai84

Also Gorbachev, unlike many other Soviet leaders was not in the Military, Interior Ministry, KGB, etc.

    He didn't wear a uniform.

  • @nikolaievitch67 I think it's all about globalley change of the world..New Television trucks new other something and it needs change something in parade...

  • @nikolaievitch67 Gorbi never salute during the anthem. He was civil leader and only military officers saluted. As for speech they had congratulation speech first and anthem then. It was just standard ceremonial.

  • Comment removed

  • @Leninabad Gorbi saluted in every parade as general Secretary until the 1990 victory day parade and this one. check the other parade videos he is saluting.

  • @Ktaurus26 Gorbachev is giving a salute during the Victory Day anthem in 1990. He wasn't saluting during the 1988 and 1990 October Revolution parades. I can only guess he didn't salute in 1989 also. But until we can see it, we can only guess. :P

  • Pepsi Cola stall (@20:33)

  • Why cant Gorbachev stand still during the parade? He keep moving left and right.

  • @RedGuy1945 He probably knew what was to come a year later.

  • @SuperUshistory lol hahahaha

  • Yelsin and Gorvachov were the worms that finished the Great USSR....son of bitches

  • на 1:00:12 минуте заметьте в центре идут два мудака один из котрых алкаш а другой иуда!!

  • 59:23 Why are they playing Tchaikovsky in a military march ?

  • @communistapprentice FUUCK! MAYBE YOU CAN TELL ME THE NAME OF THIS SONG?? I'M TRYING TO FIND IT OUT FOR MANY MONTHS! SO IF U KNOW THAT IT IS TCHAIKOVSKY MUSIC, MAYBE U KNOW THE TITLE? PLEAAASE!

  • @deathtocapitalism It is the 4th movement of Tchaikovsky's 5th symphony. HEre is a good recording ;

    /watch?v=asmz473I0Xo&feature=related

  • @communistapprentice thank you very very very much!!!! I was trying to find it for a very long time and now you told me the title!! Thank you once more!

  • I'd like some subtitles on Gorbachev's speech.

  • спасибо за видио.я иду 1 коробка 2 шеренга 4 со стороны мавзолея.40 мин фильма .Морская пехота СССР Казачка -Севастополь.диб 1990 24 ноября.

I was in it параде.на to 40 minute of a film we. A sea landing USSR -1990

  • You Can see 0:32:19 technology compeletly defeat SSSR...

  • Wasn't there an parade for the Victory Day and the October Rev in 1991?

  • @MultiMinigun Nope. This was the last one.

  • @RedSamurai84 but i remember watching a video saying it was the October Rev in 1991. Broadcasted by the BPEMЯ, it was really small, with only a few drummers and some officers.

  • @MultiMinigun That was most likely the small demonstration they had in Leningrad in '91. There was only a handful of Officers (mostly Navy), some drummers, and some people, but that was it. In terms of the last official Red Square celebratory parade, this is the last one. There was still a big May 1st demonstration in Red Square in 1991 though. Gorbachev and Soviet government leaders stood on the tribune during that event. It was the last May Day parade in the USSR.

  • @RedSamurai84 Now i remembered it. The only thing i knew is that video wasn't in Red Square. But about the Navy officers, I'm not sure. Because i remember no flags in the parade itself. Sorry if I'm wrong.

  • @MultiMinigun I've never seen video, but I've seen pictures of the Leningrad demonstration.

  • does anyone know that march song at 21:27?

  • @david245611 Встречный марш офицерских училищ

  • @RedSamurai84 thanks

  • whats the music at 052:22 and the one beginning at 0:52:28 or are they the same? the marching band

  • @MrTsubasa8119 no. first one is "Varshavianka/Варшавянка". the song that starts at 0:52:28 is "Invincible and legendary/Несокрушимая и Легендарная"

  • what song starts at 0:59:20 ???? does anybody know???

  • Very Rare video.

  • I am NO Socialist in any way. However, my admiration for the Red Soldier who endured such misery, with death tugging at their elbow morning, noon & night...for what these brave souls went through liberating their homeland to the bestial battles to take Berlin, ending the war for the allies in Europe in 1945 is nothing short of heroic. Slava/Glory to them!!!To see the political leaders NOT saluting the anthem disgusted me. The crowd/soldiers should have jumped the fences & taken no prisoners.

  • Спасибо за хорошее качество фильма! Я на кадрах 43:50 - 43:54 !

  • @RedSamurai84 Do you know if a parade will be held this year on 7th November?

  • @nikolaievitch67 Yes, I believe there will be one. To commeorate the 70th anniversary of the 1941 parade. Similar to last year's parade.

  • The world is worse off for loss of the USSR. Although for most of its history, USSR was the main enemy of my country, the United States. But the Soviets and Americans both were of a higher moral order than jihadists in that neither the Soviet nor the American side were particularly suicidal. As long as both USSR and USA remained in relative milary parity, both sides could be relied upon NOT to start an all out war against the other. We have no such security against radical, jihadists states.

  • You can tell the Union was close to it's end...

The politicians don't salute when the anthem is played...

The soldiers don't cheer anymore after the speech...

You can even see a PEPSI sign @ 20:31...

    Sad...

  • Wasn't there a soviet october revolution parade in 1989?

  • @iliesko yes. redsamurai84 just hasn't found it yet.

  • Even the Anthem sounds a little sad...laks something in its greatness......

  • great upload redsamurai. Thanks a lot!

  • i just noticed that the members of the Politburo never saluted when the anthem was played.

  • this is the last time for the Soviets to repaint their tanks.

  • @ 25:12 somebody was fainted when inspected by Yazov, check bottom left of the screen

    LOL

  • @declaration963 Yeah I just noticed that too. The poor kid! It appears to have been a Nakhimov cadet. Maybe he gets "Land sickness" instead of Sea Sickness.

  • you are absolutely right

  • @declaration963 Also, at 31:01 at the bottom right, you can see someone being lead off Red Square, perhaps its the boy who fainted?

  • There's no Soviet State flag anymore, there's no soviet states emblem, i think everybody know that this is the last parade held by soviet union, next parade (May 9th 1995) is held by Russian Federation.

  • @declaration963 Belarus is the only republic that kept the state flag and emblem minus the hammer and sickle.
