One thing to be considered is that no matter what is thought of Israel, ties with Egypt has kept that region somewhat tame.The Muslim Brotherhood already stated their ties will be cut immediately. That changes the dynamic since they patrol the opposite 2 miles so that bombs don't enter Gaza.Any war will cause a chain reaction. This will be big.

Al Jazeera "Nothing but a propaganda machine???" thats a complete nonsesne... I watch all the major english news channel & I tell you now that Al jazeera English is by far one of the best impartial & objective news channels unlike Fox, CNN.. i think your attitutde & comments are very typically "Paranoid American". Most of those so called "Influcenctial msulims" including Fahad, al makhtum etc are all US stooges. Egyptians know what they want & if they vote for shhariah then good for them.

@sidkings Al Jazeera,Fox, and CNN are agenda driven. Neither will show you sides of their agenda that are displeasing.You can add RT since they clearly have an agenda although they show you another side and are a pretty good network. I learn to filter the clear agenda driven parts of their stories.

@MayonR I think aljazeeradotnet/english alog with Press TV and RT are actually quite refrshing as they give alternative views to the prdominatly western media. I guess they are businesses at the end of the day and some do have political affiliations but I think by and large alot of the US media is biased and more controlled then in other countries. I think perhaps ppl should subscribe to ZIONGET channel for more details on this, its an eye opener.

@sidkings Believe me, they are refreshing when all we have had is Western media All the major news media will zoom in on a story when it fits their perspective.Zoom out we would get the real picture. For instance Al Jazeera did a piece on Israel supposedly; making the green lights from the Arab neighborhoods stay on for short periods of time. Zoomed out we can see that there were alternative routes and there are slower lights coming out of Jewish neighborhoods which were even slower

there is a vid entitled mubarak's men torchering protester..caution! that has been up for about a week ...which i have been told that that despite the title of the video, it is actually a protester who was thought to be a spy or working for mubarak who is being torchered.. how or why the video got released, what it's intent was, i don't know.
