Its much easier to change your firmware to Wood R4

You should try out R4 Wood 1.11 if you're having problems with certain games, it's pretty damn good although it only works on M3 and non-clone R4s.. Thanks for the tutorial. :)

Works with all new roms inc. Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing, Sonic Collection ect..

looks nice as it comes loaded with cover art which shows when you flicking through your roms.

Okey, i get this error:

And it prevents me from starting any of my games through the YSMenu...

However, in the YSMenu folder (yes, i downloaded it from the link you posted) there is an .exe file called ttextrackt.exe

And if i run it, a CMD window opens, and creates 4 files, while patching about 13... but it ends with a message saying "Error: dldi-head not found". I copied the entire folder onto my memory card/chip, including the 1 called Ysmenu (r4 only) plz reply

I've made mix r4 1.18 fw with Moonshell 2.10 and ysmenu.

So if rom starts but wont go further you can do softreset and run rom from ysmenu.

Moonshell 2.10 runs from ysmenu and r4 firmware. Your choise.

In almost every cases return from moonshell2 to ysmenu freez console. Not thise time.

After moopnshell2 exit U R at the beginning.

I find it better than the original as it actually lets you update the firmware from the dsi itself, not only that but roms can be downloaded directly onto to r4 from the dsi... but that's ONLY if you're doing it from an dsi... XD

not the right firmware (aka kernel). if you have an R4 SDHC MAKE SURE you have SDHC firmware, or it will not work. ifyou have the original make sure you have NORMAL firmware (not for the SDHC or whatever). then it should work. but i think you will have already solved the problem, because your post was 2 weeks ago, but you never know :)

all you need to do is copy all you r files onto your computer and then go to my computer and right click your sd card and format it, then put your files back on to your card. if that doesn't work just format it with the games and all your stuff to get it working again
