Although most of the planets Space: 1999 have a "swirly" look to their atmospheres, a lot like the gas giants in our own solar system, some do look different from each other. For instance, Ultimate Thule has a much plainer "ice blue" sor of look.
Trivia Question: I have seen quite a few of Space 1999 science fiction episodes and I couldn,t help notice every time MoonBase Alpha approaches alien world... the alien planet happens to be the same color. Has anyone notice this ? and I could be wrong about what I noticed.

Only problem I see with the Eagle ship is getting it in to space, other than in peaces, which means another ship or a rocket.
