...Yes, unfortunately 'Rune Factory: Frontier' is only for the wii... There are previouse Rune Factory games that are not only for the wii, though. Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon for the Nintedo DS, for example.

Excuse me raixx, but I have a question: How can this game take place between RF1 & RF2? Isn't Raguna also the MC of RF1? And doesn't that game end with him being friends with everyone in town AND marrying one of the girls?

In this game, he is a "stranger" again. Some of the girls he is "meeting for the first time" here, are the same from RF1, while some are "new" girls who replace some of the RF1 girls who didn't return for this entry.

This game is not a sequel, it is a REMAKE.

Second, read the date added to youtube, the video was released before the game was released even in Japan, no clear details were given, only a few screen shots and some new mechanics were provided in the magazine.

Third, I won't change the info because I don't feel like it.

First, it doesn't matter if u don't have the game, the info is all over the net.

Second, don't need "details" to know the girls here are "love candidates" so its impossible for the hero to START as a married man.

Third, no one is asking you to change the info, just to clarify. (some ppl may be discouraged from playing if they think is a sequel of a game they haven't played. Being a remake makes its accesible to all)

well, in Runefactory 1, marriage is not a requirement or even relevant to the storyline, you can finish the game without even getting married, so may be RFF story take place if you didn't get married

the gameplay is good the battles simple but sometimes challenging umm after a while you may need to use your farm tools like your axe and hammer till you can make better weapons form what iv seen yeah exploration is good so far oh and during the summers there will be stroms that mess up your farm land not to bad but it will destory like a few of your crops but yeah its worth getting

People might be wondering why Harvest Moon Waku waku Animal March doesnt have a release date and it released in Japan before Rune Factory.

1. Natsume(US) are in charge for Harvest Moon game and THEY ARE REALLY SLOW!

2. Xseed(US) are in charge for RUne Factory and they are pretty up to date.

3. I think they have been working on this way before ToT came out.

If they seriously want to make to remake a Rune Factory game for the Wii it should have been the 2nd one. Better characters in general and you have a 2 adorable 2nd gen characters to play as later. The 1st one just isn't so interesting.

Well, I'm going to assume it's because of the set-up. Rune 2 has the 2nd generation, loads of backstory mixed with quests, it was complete by itself.

They probably felt bad for not completing Rune 1 in the same way, so they probably will improve on it. Besides, Kyle and his kids were never meant to be fighters, while Raguna has a possibility of being a knight.
