I sat here thinking of every way i could write this to psychologically influence people to listen to some of my work, but i realized there's nothing like complete honesty. I am a new artist who is very talented and would appreciate some feedback.
Why do people keep saying hip-hop? Hip-hop is a heavily emphasized beat with words to accompany it. This isn't rap either, although it is much closer to being rap. It's slam poetry.
@RapVirtuoso true, this isn't Hip Hop, BUT, he is a Hip Hop Artist like many other guests on Russel Simmon's Def Poetry. Poetry is the root of Rap -Rhythm and Poetry. only thing missing here is the beat, guaranteed if you drop a beat to this it will be in sync! ... my two cents, hopefully it doesn't get misunderstood, I mean no disrespect.

Black Ice is like a Nas/Killah Priest/Cormega/Common MC... you not only hear and understand the contents within his poetry, but you actually FEEL what he's relatin. It's like listenin to David Ruffin sing and exert all the emotions of pain and anguish... that's what Ice renders on every subject that he chooses to tackle.
Every video of this guy is phenomenal. More or less I am a country boy but what this guy delivers in everyone of his rhymes is from the heart put through his head and comes out as pure loving logic. My favorite lyricist right now.
This is what my little cauz sister is going through and i feel bad for her and her lil brother. i wish the dad saw this video and maybe this would make him realize wat he is doing. my eyes got watery after watching this video
damn he made me feel like dog shit. i mean i am a good person and i love my son but who's almost 2 but i feel what he just said. so to all the men in this world who have not lost their better half please hold on tight to that shit.
