I fell into the tritoon craze! Last summer I bought a 22 foot tritoon Bennington with a 350 Yamaha that does 78 with 4 people in the boat. I spoke to soon, and then I took a ride, and it was all over! I get fit 12-14 people, ski and wakeboard, and still turn and maneuver better then a v hull with the performance package! I love it, and will never buy a v hull again!

I have a seadoo rxp with a few performance parts that I GPS at 72.5 that cost 8k!! 100 thousand will buy a used fountain or checkmate that would kill it. Hell bass boats that cost 20k would take it.Sorry u just can't look cool in a pontoon that goes 70. now if you had a liberator with twin 350 mercs that goes 115 for 100k then you will look cool.LOL nice waste of money though.
@sfyamaha21 all the go fast boats are cool....but power like this in a tri-toon gives you the best of both worlds!! You don't have the room and comfort on a go fast boat like you do these...plus with 3 lil kids south bay is the way to go! Seats 13-17 people...try that on a go fast boat...ever tried wakeboarding behind a 30 foot baja? Not the best way to wakeboard...i've had a 30 ' outlaw for 3 years now....fun and all....but i'm selling it right now to get a south bay!! Way better for family!!!!

I must say I enjoy very much skimming across the water at speed which this log seems to do quite nicely...but I tend not to want to run an inlet with one of these...I can rip my 22 ft Cobalt through heavy chop at 60mph and go jumping ocean swells...for a hundred grand I think a Cobalt would be a better choice on the salty waters of the world, but if only used on a lake...Wake's up beeaches looks like a winner!
I just priced out a 2009 model for a guy in SC. With nearly every option to and including the wakeboard tower, 13 speakers, two 600 watt amps, remote spotlight, wake board racks, in floor ski storage, premium interior 116K including 10,000# GVWR Trailer.
My wife and I are friends with the founder and CEO of ForestRiver and we actually rode in this boat. I would have to say that it was the most intense experience that I have ever encountered. They actually had another tritoon a couple of years ago that would clear 60+ also If anybody gets the chance, take a ride in this beast!!!
That's great! We're in the process of building another 600 HP for a customer in Virginia. Smith Mountain Lake will never be the same after this 70+ MPH South Bay hits the water!
Klinger Lake in White Pigeon, MI. Not to long after we introduced the 600 HP South Bay to the lake it was banned. Too fast and too noisy according several lake patrons.
We've had a lot of fun with this screamer. At times we would have 12 people on board and we would be running in the mid fifties. Jet skis had a hard time keeping pace with us!
