  • such a beautiful harmonic sound

  • good music

  • this is amazing

  • It is. Wow

  • The counterpoint is absolutely hypnotic!

  • note to self & you if it concerns. relax, ignore any blatherings of the ignorami. shrug em off and get back asap to enjoying & aprecciating this complex, harmonic, entrancing polyrythmic gorgeousness. there is nothing primitive about this music, it is rich and brilliantly nuanced and to the open hearted, enchanting. imagine being a child of this culture, woven deeply into that melodious tapestry of voices and forest rhythms every day of your life. can we even imagine?

  • ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღღஐ--very good music sound--ღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄ƷஐღღஐƸ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒஐღ

  • This is a VERY nice recording..

  • and i mean: you can really hear the 4/4 beat and imagine how modern music like let's say rock'n roll, jazz and hiphop came from that music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is really brilliant!

  • this is something else. it's beautiful. the ignorant remarks somepeople leave here are pathetic. "this sucks" some hack says. you are a souless, dimwitted and dull nub if that is all you can say.

  • from a cartoon series

  • After first hearing it over 20 years ago, I can still not get over how beautiful the music of central African Pygmies is.

  • they kill more animals than they can eat and they burn down the rainforest. that's evil.

  • @antikitzel ..its not them destroying their environment where they've sustainably lived for generations ..its no faced or souled corporations..

  • @antikitzel where did you get those facts????

  • @antikitzel says who!? they live more in armony with nature than anyone in our capitalist society! they only get they're basics... the only reason they are being forced to hunt more now, is becasue they being forced because warfares and enviroment destruction to join industrialised societies!... and all this is thanks to our, your cosumist culture is there is someone evil.... that is us!.. not them!

  • I love this.

It's not rap made by high tech computers--- this music is REAL. It's made by people who have the passion, not people who have the money.

THAT'S what makes it special to me.

    :)

  • The beautiful Bambuti people have been the victims of genocide, cannabalism and destruction at the hands of The Democratic Repulic of The Congo. Please, please, write letters of support to anyone who can help save the lives of these magnificent peoples. They have suffered terribly for the "crime" of simply existing in their world. I pray to God every day for their survival.

  • If you like ripping Christmas music then please visit our youtube profile site. NLO has some of the most amazing guitarist ever to inhabit planet earth.

  • Beautiful!!! I wonder, are any African' Americans descended from these tribes, or weren't they taken as slaves, as were the people of West Africa?

  • it would be wonderful if all contact with the west would leave them unharmed and unaltered, just to be their original selves.

  • I live in the rainforrest of northern Brasil as a child and to hear these souls call out reminds me of the songs of the forrest at night... sung by the tree frogs, in sects and other creature living... the sounds were both comforting and frightening as achild. Now a young man of thirty, I haven't heard tones and inflections similar in years... they sing the tune of their environment. This is remarkable.

  • @tonygonce0212 Mayb u shud go back to that life if u love it so much.

  • you euros need to leve them the hell alone you beast your not going to be happy until you have all gods children following your un natural and un godly way and i cant whate until the forces of nature destroy your pale asses dont forget your suntan spray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheBLACKOLOGY - I didn't know you pigmy's had internet access.

  • i dont know the language, so i cant hear the song fully, but it sounds beautiful. passtheammo, i hope youre not trying to justify yourself in some discrimination. i am an american, not familiar personally with the culture here. i see its under horrible terms. ive become very interested in the culture. as a little bit of a man of nature myself, i will hope good things for the culture. anyone with information about the people or area feel encouraged to send my way.

  • @N8Baker, if you've ever been to a rainforest or any kind of life infested wilderness and you just sit for a few hours then you get the same trances sung by the insects and birds and animals. After an extended period of time you start to recognise the pattern. Although their dulcet tones are human, they seem to mimic the chaotic order of the ambient orchestra of the wilderness around them. Just spectacular and so connected to their land and spirit, truely their own ecology & cosmology in sound.

  • @TheBLACKOLOGY 'sTruth! i wish i could contain the rest of my ha'aoli cuzins, but....well, you see how They™ are.

  • fuck you you fucking racist pricklicker.

  • @TheBLACKOLOGY . Someone is feeling mighty hostile.

  • @TheBLACKOLOGY um....Christianity is a "black" or African religion just as much as it is "Euro". Our Lord and his family lived in Egypt (still Africa, last I checked), the first convert after the resurection was an Ethiopian, and Africa (Sudan/Meroe and Ethiopia) even sent soldiers to fight in the Crusades. So, take your historical revisionism somewhere else.

  • @capone70 Ethiopia and Germany were Christianized within 50 to 100 years of each other. Fighting over this is missing the whole point, isn't it?

  • @MooPotPie no one is fighting. I was stating facts. So, maybe you should butt the hell out?

  • @capone70 Yeah…I was backing up the same point: Christianity is as much African as European. Jeez!

  • @sayhi87 you are obviously uneducated. Chrisitanity was brought to Ethioipia by an Ethiopian treasurer living in Israel. St Mark (an Israeli) brought Christianity to Egypt. Sudan converted to Christianity because of trade with Egypt, Ethiopia and Byzantium. There was no western "Euro" influence there. You should study a bit before you open your mouth, as it just makes you look stupid.

  • @capone70 so I got "slightly" mixted up with chrsitianity, catholicism and the rest..oopsie!...same shit anyways! you calling me uneducated for it... see how I care!...

  • @sayhi87 well...yes, obviously you ARE uneducated about it. And I don't care what you care about. Kind of an idiot, aren't you?

  • Pathetic! Omuzungu thinks they are toys to play with and show off in tourists pictures in Europe and USA.. If the African govt responsible 4 their affairs doesn't help them develop they are gonna be history because they are endangered species right now!

  • awsome music

  • pleasant background music!

  • Super

  • wonderful
