very lovely, great job of baroque interpretation (versus mucking it up as many modern players would do, with excessive vibrato etc). However I don't understand your comment about "smaller" violas.....
Thanks for the kind words, violinwylla. I really do not view a smaller viola as cheating, I put that comment really for the Paganini, as I got a response saying that my viola looked small, which it isnt. Being 6 foot 2, if I played a 15.5 or 16 incher may be viewed by some as cheating, is all. I have no bias against smaller instruments, and indeed, a friend of mine plays quite a small instrument and has a wonderful tone.
I am trying to play this! thanks for sharing!

Only violists would have a complex about how big their instruments are and whether it is cheating. (This coming from a violinist/viola hybrid.)
Your viola sound and artistry fits well with your Bach interpretation.

The viola is too down ... and the sound is other in that position!!! But very good ... Greetings Stepan ^^

By down, are you referring to the tone, or the position? We tend to play with instrument a little angled downward, a little more than violin.

Beautiful! I've been learning viola, little by little, but I don't think it will ever amount to much:( I love your sound!
