Seen AC live 4 times now, best live show you can catch these days IMO, and I've seen many, many a show. It's a very intense, visceral experience, def not for the faint of heart.

I just like how they're more than noodling around with their song when playing live. Most electronica bands sample half their song! AC keeps it real and plays their shit mostly live. Love AC.

Ive never seen them live unfortunately but I feel that from watching videos and reading interviews that AC is a live band. they put crazy amounts of effort into all their shows and even the fact that they tour songs years ahead of recording them attests to this fact. many people say they aren't good live but i think if you cant appreciate the live AC you cant appreciate them at all.

Animal collective, a light show and giant skeletons! I think its hard for them to get that exact version they have in the studio. Its always hard to make it exact. You can see how they put there all into it. I think its just as good as the studio. I like to hear the differences in the songs. Some live versions are better then the studio version. It looks enchanting.

I've found that Animal Collective, when playing live, really lack the background music that is so strong in their album recordings. It's really too bad, because they're an awesome band. Just seems like they need to figure some stuff out as far as the background music goes.

well you have to keep in mind this is two years before the album was released so the songs evolved alot more and live now are probably closer to the album version
