But the rusian separated us in two diferent states: Romania and Moldova.

Dan is from Moldova, but is romanian. HE WILL ALWAYS BE A ROMANIAN, no matter if born in Romania or Moldova! Moldova was a part of Romania and former SOviet Union ( Russia now) has been taken Moldova trying to colonize it - unfortunately. That was and still is a tragedy.
