  • this or pickle vibe?

  • great machine gun !!!

  • This is a fantastic pedal actually, but the Kr Musical Megavibe detroys it, ofcourse it does. But try to find a kr pedal or pay serious cash for it on eBay. A cheap alternative would certainly be this pedal or mojovibe or MJM sixties vibe, even though the quality of MJM is the worst comercially built pedals ive ever seen, which are stated as hand built. Take the back off and you see what i mean, very quickly thrown together. This pedal looks good, hope the interior is good compared to MJM.

  • SWEEEEEEEEEET !!!

  • mjm sixties vibe slaughters this.

  • jefferson airplane????

  • i dont need this pedal to get the "throb"

    lol

  • zakk!!!!

  • Doesn't Robin Trower have a signature pedal?

  • @stealyourface73 He has a signature overdrive, not a signature vibe although these days he uses a fulltone dejavibe.

The Dejavibe production-model (i.e. available to you) isn't very good IMHO.

I'm willing to bet that trowers fulltone pedals were custom made by fuller.

His vibe tone was better back in the day when he used a real, proper univibe though :)

  • Does anybody here have one? What are the dimesions?

I might add it to my board if it fits...

  • MACHINE GUN!!!!!!

  • Bridge of Sighs!!! MAN THIS IS AWESOME. and the pedal is cool

  • stalebread31- Danelectro makes an inexpensive vibe pedal.

  • i love vibes but they are so damn expensive....

  • and if yo put the price in euros on your website?

  • Andy is an encyclopedia of cool songs! One day PGS should do a behind-the-scenes of a gear demo, to see how Andy prepares for them.

  • @firebird116 Beefcake, BEEFCAKE!! BEEFCAKE 4000!!

  • song at 3:05 and the one right after? hendrixy vibes!

  • Machine Gun.. It can be found on the awesome Band Of Jypsies album!

  • BRIDGE OF SIGHS

  • Bridge of Sighs ftw

  • How does it actually work? I mean what does it do with the sound? Move the treble up and down?

  • It cycles the phase in an eccentric pattern like a Leslie rotating speaker would.

  • it works on the same principle as a phaser. But I don't know anything more specific than that.

  • its pretty much like a phaser that "throbs" in the low end instead of "swirls" like a phaser does

  • Andy, when PGS first started to make videos on pedals we all were wishing to see your face.

Now that we've seen your face we will really like to hear you laugh.

    Okay?

  • lmao +1 on that :D

  • Andy ! you suck ! Just kidding...:-) I'm hating cause I find myself listening to you play and what you get out of the pedals. Like if I buy those pedals I'm gonna sound that good. not even

  • i really, really like the way this vibe sounds, an expression pedal input is just the cherry on top this pedal needs

  • i just love the sound of the univibe, they take me to a pieceful place

  • ooo a vibrator

  • Machine Gun =)

  • Robin trower FTW!

  • Been a long time crossing...

  • The bridge of siiiighs.

  • crazy lookin pedals haha

  • so what exactly is the difference between a vibe and a tremolo?

  • tremolo is volume manipulation and vibrato is pitch modulation.

  • Except that vibrato and "vibe" pedals are not really the same thing. Vibrato is a pitch modulation, yes, but there's a lot more modulation going on in a vibe pedal. To my ears, there's always phasing/flanging going on and often some chorus added as well.

The day someone finally makes a pedal that does all four or five effects together and/or separately will be a good day:D

... 'Course, it'll probably be a "boutique" builder, and they'll probably charge $800 for it:P:(

  • so damn true. would be waaaay to expensive =(

  • I thought I'd pipe in. Do you guys remember the EH Wiggler? It does Trem, Vibrato and Vibe and it's not $800 lol!

    -Andy

  • io find all the eh pedals with the el84 tubes sound really good i love the tube zipper and the english muffn

    -Luc

  • Andy this si a Photocell VIbe or is just another vibe-phaser circuite? thanks and No internall pot on this?

  • Loving the Robin Trower Intro

  • Ah, yeah, thanks for reminding me of that one! I haven't played through the Wiggler, but I have played through the Worm and remember not being convinced, if you will, by its vibe attempts. I was just playing through it at a store, tho, so there may have been effects loop issues (or just have been put through the input, I mean)~shrug~ Also, the Wiggler, at almost $200, is still well out of reach for a lot of us in the "real world," I'm afraid:\

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos

Hey, I have looked long and hard at The Wiggler, actually. Haven't gotten a chance to play one in person, but from clips I've heard, I'm not sure that Looze setting is quite watery enough to be a convincing vibe. I might get it some day anyway just b/c the trem sounds so good, tho:D

Thanks for the reply, Andy, and keep up the good work!

  • A Vibe pedal is sort of a tremolo plus a phaser.

  • Machine Gun...yeah!

  • good.

    not great....

  • bridge of sighs, great song!

  • I like the Robin Trower intro!

  • sounds identical to the picklevibe

  • I really like this. I think the Fulltone Deja Vibe is better though...

  • very nice!!! Want that bad!!!!

Cant wait for the thanksgiving sale!!!! What stuff s going on sale Andy?

  • Another vibe pedal. Man does every company make one now?

  • @popomczowzow its great, isn't it. Pushes the quality up and price down

  • Ooooh
