SJs aren't robots but only because they're human and therefore innately dynamic. However, if there was a personality type most closely representative of cyborgs it would be SJ, or perhaps sensors in general. Being an apologist for sensors is noble, but nonetheless misguided. To be clear, if all the sensors in the world suddenly disappeared, the human race would be greatly enhanced. If all the intuitives went the way of dinosaurs, well, I'll leave that to your imagination.
Let me tell you something about NT's. The internet is where we come to bag out SJ's and SP's for their boringness and conformity to compensate for our inferiorities in real world essentials such as sports and social popularity. We feel the same way YOU do about this as WE do in the real world- underestimated and opressed. Also, ISFP's are the acclaimed artists, not intuitives. They are the ones who take in the details the best through Se and interpret what the artist is trying to say with Fi.
@samm1809 I'm an ENTJ artist. I know an ISFP and he paints what he sees. That is a type of creativity, of course. However, it is not created from his mind. He is simply duplicating what he sees, very sensor like. Whereas I create things from my mind...original...no photograph or visual to go on...just my imagination. ISFP can be this way too though and Intuitives can be good at sensing. We all have the same traits, but in varying degrees....like on a sliding scale and not all one sided
@DiaShanti hmm. Well ISFP's definitely have the best organised funtions for an artist in the stereotype that NON artists would have of an artist. The big thing between ENTJ's and ISFP's is the function difference. both have Ni (concieve of an original idea or conceptual goal) and Se as a second and third function, but the ENTJ has Fi as an INFERIOR function and ISFP as a DOMINANT function. Fi is a huge deal in aesthetics. if the ISFP is young then his Ni wouldn't be that developed yet though.
@samm1809 I do not think it is possible to say F is a primary driving force for the appreciation of aesthetics or creation of what is pleasant to view. And what is considered attractive or pleasing to the eye is one of individual taste and not to be determined by anyone in particular. That is very subjective.
@DiaShanti It's for that reason that INFP's make up a huge chunk of successful fantasy writers. They create this brilliant, beautiful image in people's minds and pull them into the amazing stories they write. Like Tolkien. I'm not saying ALL art btw. I doubt the guy that put the shark in the tank was ISFP. Just art that's supposed to look pretty. Same reason why the beatles were successful. McCartney (ISFP) writes pretty music. And yes it's subjective, but there will still be a majority opinion.
@samm1809 In fact maybe now that I think of it, art isn't the right word for what I'm talking about. Maybe I'm talking about sensory (sight and sound) or conceptual pleasure. Sensory in terms of ISFP music and paintings, and conceptual in terms of INFP writings.
@DiaShanti I agree though. MBTI isn't about what you CAN do, it's about what you prefer to do and where you get your energy from. No offense, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't imagine that being alone in a quiet room doing something that requires very little Te would be very charging for an ENTJ.
@samm1809 Why would I be offended? Puh-lease. I'm a heavy objective THINKER, with my Fi being inferior, remember? If you are not an ENTJ of course you can't imagine what would charge me. Why assume I need Te to be charged? As if that is my only energy source. I don't get it.
@samm1809 Another comment about the quiet room and doing something that requires little Te... I am charged by my imagination and actually talk to myself. If not out loud at least within my head. It all works for me. Makes perfect sense.
