Yes it was 21mpg- Canadian gallon, thats about 5 US quarts. I used to have a 1964 Super 88 with a 394 that also got 21mpg. It was a 4 door hardtop.. a real beauty.. I think the 4 speed was much better on fuel than the automatic which is only a 2 speed transmission.

@lwj01998 21 mpg?? even when this had the 350 rocket in it I was under 6mpg!! Are you sure you don't mean 2.1 mpg? lol Good luck with yours, post a vid if you can

@928baller I really have no idea what one of these would cost in this condition. I was offered 12K last year for mine but mine is almost ready for bodywork and paint. I imagine you could maybe get a 65 which looks similar but far more common for around 5-7k

This car is hot! Put a tarp over it so the sun does'nt ruin the interior. I've got a '68 Mustang and it too has those roll down quarter windows.

@GulfCoastJaguarundi Trans Ams are awesome, I assume you have the 6.6 with t-tops , but either way those are nice fast cars ( I especially like the prizm dash boards and honeycomb rims ). The way I see it I will probly never buy another toy so I might as well keep the dream alive
