The shameful act of celebrating Christmas in the Emirates by erecting the most valuable Christmas tree ever has been complimented by another shameful celebration of the coming of the new year 2012 by a festival of fireworks which the organizers ignited at and around the tallest building in the world in Dubai. No figure has been given as to the cost of the celebration but the words of the Quraan apply here: The spendthrifts are brothers of the devils, and the Devil is ever ungrateful to his Lord.
First and foremost: Matthew Gospel says explicitly, that the "Magi" visited the Child at home, not in a cave or at any "manger". The so-called "Pagan" version of the Nativity is recorded only in Luke's Gospel, nowhere else. And secondly: perhaps the Author should exercise a bit more caution in regards to his "warning"? I do not take such "warnings" seriously. Islam took its roots in the same "paganism" of ancient philosophy, culture, Pyramids and "7 Wonders of the Ancient World" as Christianity
islam stole most of its scripture, theology, metaphysics, eschatology, and exegesis from Judaism and Christianity, and on top of that has the gall to criticize and accuse them of corruption. islam is heresy.
@RaniK naw. Islam isn't heresy. It has a good message. I don't believe the other two are corrupt either though, and I don't beleive Muhammad is "the seal of the prophets". I believe in constant revelation, but I still beleive in sunni Islam because of it's customs.
I am a Christ follower and I wholeheartedly agree! christmas is the pagan holiday Saturnalia repackaged by the catholic church, but not worshiped by true believers in Christ. Even Yahweh spoke thru prophet Jeremiah 10:1-9 "Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen..." Even Q'uran says Isa (Jesus) was born to the virgin Myriam. Praise be to God! Isa fulfilled Feast of Tabernacles & now God's Kingdom lives inside those who trust Messiah Jesus!
@jhschlarb HI my brother, I am not a Christian, but neither am I a Muslim. I believe in the scriptures you believe in. Including the Bible. God commands you to also believe the Bible he sent to you. Sura 32:23. We did indeed aforetime give the Book (Torah) to Moses: be then NOT IN DOUBT of its (The Torah) reaching (THEE - the readers of this Koran-Muslims): and We made it a Guide to the Children of Israel."
@Blake4014 my brother which translation do you have? I looked to many translation none of them says (The Torah). I looked to many commentators but I did not find that it means Torah. Any way Ibn Abbas said " Do not be in doubt in meeting him" him returns not on the Torah but on Moses. and that was the event of Israa and Miraj when prophet mohammad met Moses. thanks
My imaginary friend is better than your imaginary friend! And if you disagree..... I will slaughter your village, women and children. Sounds pretty fucking crazy don't ot. And THAT my friends, is the substance of all that is evil in this world. Nice Going!!!!!
History is the witnesses God sent Prophets Adam,Noah,Abraham ,Moses,Jesus and ending with Muhammad PBUH to all of them,Prophet sent with Scriptures to guide mankind
22And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
Ive got to know all religions, so where i know all, and i study other religions because i have about all religions in my family, Alhamdulilah, i know the way, and the Truth, as Christians say this phrase. well i saw the light and seen the signs from Allah.
@D1yanaH If you knew the Way and the Truth, you would have finished the sentence: Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, NO MAN comes to the Father, except by me."
Apparently, you don't know all. At least, nothing outside what the Pedophile's followers tell you.
You call Muhammad a Pedophile, but you're a Bible reader? You know, they got this saying about people in glass houses...
Listen buddy, our Bible is nothing but a bunch of specially selected documents the church put together to replace Roman paganism with something more popular. And the old testament is nothing but something rabbinical leaders tried to recreate after the Babylonian exile.
When we there's no defense, it really shows weakness when you blurt out insults at a person.
@LuckyDukeSeven Glass houses? Show me one instance where a so-called prophet diddled a child, much less had sex with a 9 year old.
I haven't insulted anyone, have I? But you claim I'm ignorant. You did the insulting, pal. Read what's said. Followers of the pedophile are notorious for reversing claims and slinging personal insults. Decades of research does not produce ignorance. Go study something.
Specially selected why? Because they were eye-witnesses, maybe? Or older ones, led by God to?
Eye witnesses? They're anonymous gospels that were rejected by most eastern Churches.
Numbers 31
9 "...And the people of Israel took captive the women of Midian and their little ones, and they took as plunder all their cattle, their flocks, and all their goods..."
17"Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him. But all the young (premature) girls who have not known man by lying with him keep alive for yourselves. "
@LuckyDukeSeven So? What's your point? What relevance does history of the Hebrews have to do with this? Red herrings and diversion won't work on me. Provide proof - solid evidence of your claims. Put up or shut up, Antichrist.
I quote an order from God, and I'm the "Antichrist"?
This Christian rationalism at its worst. You believe Jesus is God. And according to your Bible, God commanded what I quoted. So "Jesus" commanded what I quoted. Moses, Aaron and Joshua (others too, according to the Bible) were all splitting premature Virgin captives amongst themselves.
"Show me one instance where a so-called prophet diddled a child, much less had sex with a 9 year old."
@LuckyDukeSeven Examine the word. You are against everything Jesus taught and warned against, thus the word ANTI. So yes, the title fits.
Why don't you read the whole passage? I'm not going to defend against an accuser who like your father, the greatest accuser, enjoys doing that which you accuse others of doing: Cherry-picking.
Again, show proof of corruption...I'm still waiting.
You can demand nothing from me. If you want proof of corrupt, examine libraries containing first century gospels and letters that were forbidden from entering the Bible. Read the Talmud's historical account of how Ezra brought the New Law of moses from Babylon, and examine the Men of the great assembly.
The entire passage shows something much more horrible. It shows a defenseless village being slaughtered, and God being angered because the married village-women weren't killed.
@LuckyDukeSeven You made the accusation of corruption, show proof to back your claim. Spouting rhetoric made by other Muhammadans makes no difference to me. Show me something. Put up or shut up. If you can't provide proof, go play somewhere else. I don't debate with children who cannot back their claims. Let me know when you have something.
Sanhedrin 21b. The 22nd part speaks about modifications to the Torah at the time of Solomon. 46th and onward describes the Babylonian Torah of Ezra.
As for the New Testament, perhaps you'd like to google "codex sinaiticus" or any other Codex of Koine Greek Scripture, and read John 3:16 by copying and pasting the words where the phrase "only begotten Son" is located in a translator, and reading them.
Then read "Apocalypse of Peter", older than any cannon text, but rejected by rome.
@LuckyDukeSeven Been there, done that. I don't particularly trust anything the Catholics had anything to do with. (Yes, Muslims aren't the only ones I freely denounce.)
But keep going. When you get something useful, let me know. You're on the right track, but looking in the opposite direction.
John 3:16 says "a Unique Son." in Greek, as opposed to "Only Begotten Son" in the English translations. The Sanhedrin a a Jewish Book in the Babylonian Tamlud, with detailed history of the exile, and the Torah's timeline. The Catholics have nothing to do with it.
The Apocalypse of Peter was banned by the Catholic church.
My effort was useless, you choose to be blind. You obviously had no idea what I was talking about, yet pretended as you did. The message has been relayed.
For a denouncer of Catholics, you certainly seem to maintain their Pagan traditions in your "Trinity" perspective of God, which is absent from the Bible, but still made it into Protestant beliefs.
"God is not a man, that he should lie, nor is God the son of man, that he should change his mind."
@LuckyDukeSeven Not really. There is no trinity. Just one God, though manifest in three persons. There's a difference. And quit straying from the point. Provide the proof of corruption, or go play with your pedophile's books. I have all the patience in the world, so keep taking jabs. Until you provide proof, I'm not going to address any following points. I'm not subscribing to the Muslim habit of redirecting and issuing red herrings. Stick to the point, until you provide me with any proof.
Why did you talk about my "trinity" post and avoid the fact that I gave you a 1) mistranslation of your Bible and 2) a schooling on the fact of nothing I'd provided being Catholic? You dismiss what I say.
It just seems you went out of your way to address a Side note I have, yet you haven't address what's written in Sanhedrin, the Apocalypse of Peter (banned by Catholics) and the erreanous translation of John 3:16
In Greek it's "unique son" not "only begotten son"
@LuckyDukeSeven I dismiss what you say because you didn't provide solid proof: Proof of the thought that an almighty, all-powerful God cannot prevent his Word from being lost or corrupted. Proof by providing an unmodified version. Proof by doing the research on your own, rather than using suppositions and assumptions made by others.
Proof.
Solid Evidence.
Provide these, or rescind your claim. Simple as that.
I began to disprove you, and it seems as though you've been angered by my comments. I gave you proof. I don't know what proof besides the testimony of the compilers of the Old Testament in Sanhedrin you'd want. Anything else? I mean, the people in charge of the Old testament Cannon say it's different, and that it's been modified.
As for the New Testament, I corrected a translation, and steered you in the direction of the apocrypha.
@LuckyDukeSeven Yes, MY Bible. Prove MY Bible is lost and corrupted. My Bible, the Bible your pedophile and his adherents touted as the ultimate authority in your own Qur'an. Therefore, this is your error. I use a Bible compiled from the time when the Pedophile even endorsed it. So the claim that it is corrupt is pointless, groundless and downright unsupportable from a Muslim point of view.
@LuckyDukeSeven The things of God are nothing to do with logic nor reason. God is beyond us. You should know that by now. If you don't, then that should tell you something. Be right back shortly.
@LuckyDukeSeven For if you had done your own research, rather than rely on the propaganda of other Muslims, you would see that the Qur'an was little more than a retelling of stories - the Pedophile's versions - of stories he's heard from various peoples and tribes, thrown together in a way to conveniently suit his own prejudices and desires. Any thinking man can see this - I'm surprised you haven't. All throughout history, God warned not to kill, but what's the first thing the Pedo does? Think.
@DreadStorm December 25th has its roots in the pagan religion of its time. Even the name "Jesus" is fabricated. Yeshua (or Isa, in Arabic, which more closely resembles his real name) is not a retail opportunity, a Crusade purpose or a name to fling mud with. Thou shalt not have other gods before Me. Xmas has nothing to do with Yeshua's message. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
@yowzee What makes you think I even care about Christmas? Or that I even practice it? You assume too much, knowing nothing.
If the name "Jesus" is fabricated as you say, why does it carry so much power? I've seen His name heal the sick and wounded, cast out devils, turn lives around, and most importantly, save souls from hellfire. The moon rock god Allah and his murdering pedophile Muhammad have no such power.
@yowzee Oh, really? Then who does? Are you calling Him a liar, in favor of trusting a murdering pedophile? Take it up with him. But think on that a moment. If Jesus is not within me, who is? Name him.
@DreadStorm Only the devil has a tongue like yours. The devil is a liar. You have been blinded by rage and an inability to recognize truth because of your desire to conquer and win. Yeshua is the Messiah. You go your way; I go mine -- and you can't say you haven't been warned. Thou shalt have no gods before Me.
@yowzee Not rage. Actually, I'm pretty joyous that He saved me. The only rage I have is at the blatant stupidity and gullibility of the human race - but not toward any person in particular, just everyone to a degree. Some more than others. And those that follow the Beast (Islam) and his Antichrist (Mahdi) I find nearly intolerable in the stupidity and gullibility regard.
Wrong. He said "You will have no OTHER gods before Me." You people really don't read anything, do you? The nuance is clear.
@LuckyDukeSeven Now I say that because you did one thing you should never do - make an assumption. You automatically assumed that, because I'm Christian, I fall into the lump of idolaters and false-goddess worshipers of modern times. I do not. The Bible I use has no chapter and verse separations. The scriptures I use are, in fact, exact copies of the original documents as they were originally handed down. Decades of research has provided me this.
What Bible do you use? One lacking the Old Testament? One lacking the Gospels? Or one perhaps, that is in your mind. You believe you fool those around you, when you fool no one but yourself. Your anger and dissatisfaction with my atypical hard to answer questions shows as much. And you still call the Prophet a pedophile.
I'm not sorry I seemingly wasted my time with you, as it is my duty. I've relayed the message. Peace be upon you.
@LuckyDukeSeven I have no anger nor dissatisfaction within me. Yet another false assumption on your part.
And I call the Pedophile what he was. Jesus was sinless, the Prophets obeyed God's laws. The pedophile-murderer-thief-madman-liar was not in any ream with other Prophets. Calling a spade a spade.
My Bible consists of many books, not just one. And none newer than 250AD or so, save for the Dead Sea Scrolls.
And I saw no disproof. Only copying others opinions.
You don't fight the Devil be defending or excusing Evil. You fight the Devil, and the antiChrist, be rejecting organizations that have taught you how to defend their ideas. The Council of Nicea, the Men of the Great Assembly. At the helm of them all is the one corrupter. The one who wants to drive you to Hell. The one who wants to make Believers disbelieve (as they have been) because of the Bible's absurdities, and make Believers look as if they were fools.
@D1yanaH And you're the accuser, show me proof of YOUR claims. The defense has no obligation to provide proof, it is the accuser that must provide the burden of proof. And I'm not defending anything. I was proving 1) your ignorance, and 2) reveal the accusatory nature of the Pedophile's followers, and 3) show the truth.
So, bring me proof of your claims. But fair warning - Decades of study produces more than you can attempt to refute.
Read the start of Numbers 31 all the way through. It's a common theme. "God" tells Moses and the Israelites to kill a non-hostile villages king. Then he tells them to slaughter all the men, and little boys. Then he tells them to slaughter all the married/non virgin women. Then he tells them to take the prepubescent virgins as booty.
This is what I mean by "glass houses"
The idiocy of people who follow the Bible, and dare calls Muslims followers of a "pedophile" has no bounds.
Praise the name of Jesus! Praise the name of Jesus! He's our Rock! He's our Fortress! He's our Deliverer,in Him we will trust! Praise the name of Jesus!
@psalm964 Jesus him self says that he is only a Prophet and this is in your Bible, im Proud to be a Muslim, Thanks to God for this, i will never lose my Faith or Truth in Allah. God, Allah is ONE.
@D1yanaH And I will never lose faith in the God of the bible, the one and only true God,Jehovah, nor will I ever deny Christ until the die I die.Jesus is LORD!
@psalm964 can you tell me Gods first born as the Book say, the Bible is all clear on what it say but you have to understand it clearly. this simple question, who was gods first born?
@D1yanaH I don't see where you are going with this, but it doesn't really matter.I will serve the Lord Jesus til the day I die.The joy I have in my heart the world didn't give it,the world can't take it away! =)
Blessèd assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood. This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior, all the day long; This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior, all the day long. Perfect submission, perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight; Angels descending bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
@TFengineer Many of us dont celebrate chrismas because its a pagan festival and nowhere in the Bibleit is mentioned that we should celebrate chrismas .Jesus was nt born on dec 25 th but according to the Bible He was born between August and October ,since we dont have the exact date of His birth we cannot choose a date and do a celebration out of it thus making it useless. Please dont mix Catholics and true christians they are not the same
I respect you for researching your religion and weeding out the false practices from the true ones prescribed by God. If you're in America, please, try to enlighten others so they don't blame your sect of Christianity for not telling them otherwise on the day of Judgment. When a Muslim says it, they call us weird, stupid, and other nasty names. If they hear it from their own it might make a more profound difference. Sorry for the mix-up brother. Peace
and i wanna tell you some thing....muslims dont make Mohammed anniversary too...cz he never make it...that called the Sunna, we dont do what our prophet never done....dont take this for personal cz even Mohammed its not a good thing to make it every year....
@2OneTruth what do you say here, i think you are mad...Adu Ismael dont talk about the fables and the paganist half of christianism """read Edouard Gebbon""", he just talk us we the muslim's that chrismas was never our Prophets tradition, that's all...so why you spik about anything, the main for you is to critizise islam.....go make video to identify your religion to people, we are in a free world...but dont intimidate others....chrismas mean for you something, no problem ..make it every year.
Revelation 10:11 And they say to me(John), "You must prophesy again with regard to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings."
Is John one of the witnesses?
Check out my favs, especially the one about the stars found in the bible. Pics in those videos of the Sun Moon and Stars are authentic and the end time is drawing. The stars seem to be 11 then 12 and then definitely7. Check out these symbols and signs from heaven.
It was pope Liberius who decided to remember the birth of JC on 25 Dec. That Xmas is celebrated on that date has to do with the christianizing of Europe. The Church leaders in Rome were hoping that by celebrating Xmas the pagan rituals like the worship of the sungod Mithras would disappear for good. So Xmas was not a Christian feast in the first couple of centuries but was instituted to combat paganism.
@aidan24100 But it was the people from the bloodline of Ishmael(the Egyptians) that enslaved Iseral, and then from the blood of Ishmael to Egypt, then to Muhammad. Correct me if im wrong, thanks.
Hey Muslims, what do you guys think of Moses? It would seem to me that you would hate him. Because he was a righteous man, he took us Jews/Christians out of Egypt from your power. You guys enslaved our people Iseral, and Moses set us free from you guys. Just wondering, because it would seem to me that you guys would just hate Moses and Aaron.
Celebrating Christmas is a very good thing. It shows people why they are on earth. It tells about truth, love and wisdom. No matter what was ever written in some ancient pieces of paper. It opens the heart of the people and not the hate that you spread out. If you warn celebrating Christmas then you do not want that people fill their heart with love for others. There is no true evidence for old history so do not reference to it. It is important what people do and think today.
brother Ismaa'eel Abu Adam (converted2islam) He is former believing Christian who embraced Islam and now He share Allah's (God's) message of salvation and love with you. He also share with you the authentic teachings of Prophet Eesaa (Jesus). his Christian background along with his experiences living in both Christian and Muslim countries gives him a unique perspective n Christianity and Islam. Presently he's doing a degree in Islamic Studies.on Islam and Comparative Religion..
@wwwsultanorg I had a Catholic education. But I studied nature for too long to still believe in religions... You see, education not just hinder crime rates, it hinder people to get stuck in false beliefs. Rational thinking is what differentiate us from the rest of the animal kingdom. Animals (as well as young child) ALWAYS believe. The doubt is human. Doubt comes from rational thinking and have to be learned and mastered. It appeared after the invention of lying in order to recognize the truth.
@wwwsultanorg "have long experiences with Comparative Religion"
Do you have experience in philosophy? Do you know how to verify if someone is objective or subjective? Critical thinking have nothing to do with "memorize knowledge"...
"you posting from anti islamic web sites" I agree, little part of my post are from christian sites. But many are from elsewhere and most of them are from me. Yes ME! I can think be myself!!!
@KaonNeutre you are liar all you posted are from anti islamic web site
becuse if you copy and paste in google the will come after if it was from you can you speak arabic to understanding the Qur'an? oh i forget you useing google translate ,LOOL
Comparative Religion is a field of religious studies of Abrahamic religions :D that what i did Christianity , Judaism and Islam
@wwwsultanorg "you are liar all you posted are from anti islamic web site"
NO! Many of them are my own reflexion!!!
"copy and paste in google"
I put "swim" in google and copy/past the result in arab. I did the same for "rotation" and "to rotate". I had already search the word in arabic with a tunisian friend so I knew that it meant "swim" (my friend had wanted to search what was stand for "orbits" - it's something like "space").
@wwwsultanorg "Comparative Religion is a field of religious studies of Abrahamic religions"
Well... you pass over many hundreds of other religions... I my opinion, it's a quite small range to compare religions... All of those are born in the same geographical location...
“There are two mistakes one can make along the road to truth...NOT GOING ALL THE WAY, and not starting.”, Buddha
Studying exclusively Abrahamic religion is subjective...
What are you talking about. I just want to tell you that I didn't took this from a "anti-islam site".
"use Arabic sources arabic grammar and muslims who understanding the Qur'an"
I red many very difficult books. Some were originally written in russian. Something that cannot be translate is not because of the language complexity. It's because of the poor quality of the text. Quran is hard to translate because you guys don'T understand it in arab!!
@wwwsultanorg No arab is needed to use the argument of the site "answering-christianity". You have to turn your brain off !
"For a movement that occurs in space, it is difficult to see how else this meaning implied in the word could be rendered other than by employing its original sense, i.e. ROTATION. (Bucaille)"
For arabs, "swim" in space "necessarily" means "rotation" only because it's in space!?!? This is ridiculous!!! Maybe arabian is an underdeveloped language...
@wwwsultanorg The message is more important than the massager, because I am free to think!
Here is a quote for you:
"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense."
Guess who it's from! (you can google it... it's not a great challenge...)
@KaonNeutre do whatever you want to do not me who judge you . i will tell you only as quran said
(The Noble Quran, 2:256)"
"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy handhold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.
"Say, 'The truth is from your Lord': Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it):......(The Noble Quran, 18:29)"
@KaonNeutre the answer on video , watch it befor you judge people .
Islam have Five Pillars of Islam and one of them Zakāt
Zakāt or alms-giving is the practice of charitable giving by Muslims based on accumulated wealth, and is obligatory for all who are able to do so. It is considered to be a personal responsibility for Muslims to ease economic hardship for others
A Muslim may also donate more as an act of voluntary charity (sadaqah), rather than to achieve additional divine reward
It would be great to do it because you want to improve your environment, because you should do to other what you would like others do to you.
"A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death."
"Religion is nothing more than the shadow of the universe laid on human intelligence" Victor Hugo
In USA, 90% are believers (all faiths included). But... 99% of prisoners are believers while 60% of university workers are NON-belivers (atheists, agnostics, etc) and 90% of the Nobel prize laureats are non-belivers. Why is there such a great polarization in the population???
It's because it is by mastering critical thinking that one can seek and recognize truth.
@KaonNeutre many years ago in the Islamic golden age in the dark ages (for Europe) you will find that most scientists are Muslims and there was some great scientists back then , I didn't say that to tell you that Muslims are the best scientists but to prove that the circumstances of a group of people depend on the time and conditions not just on the group thoughts and ways
@EgypTPHONIX Newton was a believer. but he lived in the 17th century... The thing is that more educated one is, the more probable it is to be non-beliver and this grows with time going. In the islamic golden age, no muslims discovered that earth was rotating! This is partly because quran is written in a geocentric system like the bible. I feel like muhammad also copied the mistakes of the bible...
Many people think that most of the muslim scientists were coming from the persian civilization...
@KaonNeutre 1- it doesn't matter if you are from a Persian or Arab or any other origin in Islam all people are equal and all people are invited to join it
2- Muslims have scientific reasons (Miracles) to believe in Islam and the Quran and even more the Quran orders people to think and be rational so unlike some religions we don't just follow
@EgypTPHONIX 1- You talk about islamic golden age where scientists were muslims. But they were also persian and they were good in sciences before the muslim invasion. The question is then: would scientists of islamic golden age have still been muslims if muslims would have attacked advanced civilization such as persian? Much lesser at least. Good scientist not coming from islam emergence.
2- I never saw any scientific reason to believe in islam. You "believe" that their is some...
@KaonNeutre check Quran scientific Miracles and please inform me of your scientific proof that prophet Mohammad was wrong or disprove the Quran scientific Miracles
@wwwsultanorg You don't have you quran? I mean, it's stupid to post everything in 500 characters post. Anyway, I'm sure you are wise enough to find an official version of the quran somewhere in the net!
- Quran consider a geocentric system (13:2, 18:86, 21:33, 27:61, 31:29, 36:38to40, 39:5, 91:1-2)
take 18:86:
Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: near it he found a People: We said: "O Zulqarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."
Tell me, how do you reach the setting of the sun!?! A moreover, FIND IT SET in a spring!!! Well... I guess (hope!) it's a "picture".
@KaonNeutre SURAH 21:33 " "It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: ALL (the celestial bodies) rotate (yasbahuna), each in their orbit/celestial sphere (falak).
Here an essential fact is clearly stated: the existence of orbits and rotation for all celestial bodies. This clearly describes what is happening to the earth as it rotates every 24 hours while it also orbits around the sun during a year’s time.
@wwwsultanorg "ALL (the celestial bodies) rotate (yasbahuna), each in their orbit/celestial sphere (falak)."
Could you be "more" vague?!? LOL
Swim "OR" rotate?!?!?
orbit (involving two bodies!) "OR" celestial sphere?!?!??
So because what is really written cannot fit the today knowledge, you prefer to say that quran is impossible to understand but is still true?!? hahaha!!!
@KaonNeutre The Arabic verb "sabaha" (yasbahuna) in this verse means rotation on its own axis. The Arabic word "falak" used for planets and planets' movements in Verse 21:33 can mean movement in its own "celestial sphere." Therefore, the Quran states that ALL celestial bodies including the earth rotate on their own axis or in their "celestial sphere." If one wants to connect the phenomenon of night and day to the rotation of all celestial planets than this verse PROVES that the Quran
79:30 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse).
Had been modified by this one:
79:30] He made the earth egg-shaped.
How??? Because muslims "found" that the Arabic word "dahhaahaa'' is DERIVED from "Dahhyah'' which means "egg".
That all the people, native arabian and non-arabian people tried to translate the quran and NO ONE EVER "find" that the word in 21:33 is "rotation" and (including google translation)!!! Sorry... you have no credibility...
@KaonNeutre hehe its not my sources google translation
﴿كُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ﴾
(each in an orbit floating.) means, revolving. Ibn `Abbas said, "They revolve like a spinning wheel, in a circle.'' This is like the Ayah:((He is the) Cleaver of the daybreak. He has appointed the night for resting, and the sun and the moon for reckoning. Such is the measuring of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.) ﴿6:96﴾
@wwwsultanorg The thing you just prove me is that once again, you change the interpretation to answer people that point on mistake of the quran. It is so fallacious and intellectually dishonest. How could you convince me that all those who I cite in my last post are wrong.
see this "scholar" debate:
watch?v=i0kR1qqzbKs
Why NO MUSLIM EVER discovered that earth was rotating? It is Copernicus that made that discovery!
Just to let you know: A. Yusuf Ali, Oumma site(in french), submissionDOTws (in many languages) and even google translation do not agree with your translation! Yasbahuna means swim, float or sail nothing near "rotation" which have a quite precise meaning! No one could be confused between a rotation with a movement! It's ridiculous (and insulting for the many arabs that tried to translate the quran before you).
Anyway, there is other verses that challenge your "interpretation"...
@wwwsultanorg The Arabic word referring to a movement with a self-propelled motion is the verb sabaha (yasbahuna in the text of the above two verses). All the senses of the verb imply a movement that is associated with a motion that comes from the body in question. If the movement takes place in water, it is 'to swim'; it is 'to move by the action of one's own legs' if it takes place on land.
@wwwsultanorg For a movement that occurs in space, it is difficult to see how else this meaning implied in the word could be rendered other than by employing its original sense, i.e. ROTATION. (Bucaille)
Wow... YOU HAVE to be kidding me!!! A movement in space "necessarily" means "rotation" because it's in space!!!
@wwwsultanorg I understand why meaning can go from white to black for such arguments!!!
The concept of a rotation is understood since the invention of the wheel like 3000 years before Christ. Arabs should be quite retarded in their development if, 3700 years after, they haven't discriminate a rotation from a general movement!!!
Do you even realize that you arbitrary choose the meaning of the verses!?
@KaonNeutre SURAH 13:2 "Allah is he who raised the heavens without any pillars that you see, and he is firm in power and he made the sun and the moon subservient to you; each one pursues its course to an appointed time; He regulates the affair, making clear the signs that you may be certain of meeting your Lord."
@wwwsultanorg "raised the heavens without any pillars that you see"
Is this make you think that the guy who invented this had any concept of gravity? That air and cloud don't need pillars to stand over the rock and the water? I guess it's a picture... again...
(each in an orbit floating.) means, revolving. Ibn `Abbas said, "They revolve like a spinning wheel, in a circle.'' This is like the Ayah
(He is the) Cleaver of the daybreak. He has appointed the night for resting, and the sun and the moon for reckoning. Such is the measuring of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.) ﴿6:96﴾
@wwwsultanorg By showing how you can RADICALLY change the meaning of the verses ("extended" to "egg-shape" ; "swim" to "rotate") you also show that quran is so badly interpretable that it is totally useless. How could a book that has been interpreted by thousands for 1300 years long can be that misunderstood?!? How could a book so badly written could be used to teach moral!?!? How could a book this vague could be considered as a truth of any kind?!?
your God Jesus was tempted by Satan for forty days (Luke 4:1-13) but in James 1:13 is said: "...for God cannot be tempted with evil..." How can Jesus be God, then?
@wwwsultanorg Thanks for the other version of the quran. I didn't knew it. The site qtasfirDOTcom is very friendly user with good search engine!
here is 27:61. Is not He Who has made the earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water) Is there any ilah (god) with Allah Nay, but most of them know not!) (...)
Here is the barrier between two sea... another scientific error.
"And made a separating bar Between the two bodies Of flowing water [AL-QUR'AN 27:61]
This phenomenon occurs in several places, including the divider between the Mediteranean and the Atlantic Ocean at Gibralter. But when the QUR'AN speaks about the divider between fresh and salt water, it mentions the exisence of ' a forbidding partition' with the barrier.
@wwwsultanorg " including the divider between the Mediteranean and the Atlantic Ocean at Gibralter"
Do you have a scientific paper that back your claim? Because salted water MIX with fresh one... If fact, salt from ocean come from the rivers that dissolved the salt from the continent and bring it in the ocean... Believing that fresh water and salted water do not mix is wrong...
for the Mediterranean and atlantic Ocean, there IS a physical barrier that SLOWING mixing : the Camarinal Sill...
@wwwsultanorg By the way, I said "slowing" because the water DO mix between Atlantic and Mediterranean oceans... Please, stop making you knowledge from the quran, it hinder you to learn new things on your surrounding reality!!!
Here a paper on the mixing mechanisms at the Camarinal Sill:
Journal of geophysical research ISSN 0148-0227
1994, vol. 99, noC5, pp. 9847-9878 (1 p. 1/4)
You can read the abstract on the net or go in library to read the full article...
@wwwsultanorg21:33 It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course.
Context: Night and day, sun and moon SWIM in its ROUND course.
Sun has no orbit have anything to do with day and night. Their is no link between day and night and the sun movement!!!
@KaonNeutre (And He it is Who has created the night and the day,) meaning, the one with its darkness and stillness, and the other with its light and human interaction; sometimes the one is longer while the other is shorter, then they switch.(and the sun and the moon,) the sun with its own light and its own path and orbit and allotted time, and the moon which shines with a different light and travels on a different path and has its own allotted time.
Or, Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two seas? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, most of them know not.
Earth firm? I guess he means that earth is not liquid (huh?) not that earth is not rotating...
Mountains "immovable"?? Oups, I forgot to put this one in scientific errors... But how could one think in year 700 that a whole continent is actually moving?
Seest thou not that Allah merges Night into Day and he merges Day into Night; that He has subjected the sun, and the moon (to His Law), each running its course for a term appointed; and that Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do?
Again... a runnning sun in a day and night context. But hey, its not because its in the same verse that the two sentences are linked! (don't talk about verse out of context if you say so!!!)
38 And the Sun runs unto a resting place: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.
[Yeah, the resting place is a spring!]
39 And the Moon,- We have measured for her stations (to traverse) till she returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk.
40 It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit(according to Law).
@KaonNeutre even for some one not professional like me i can see that you are mixing the verses about the creation of Adam (first human) and the creation of babies inside their mothers to confuse your self

Even Yahweh spoke thru prophet Jeremiah 10:1-9 "Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen..." Even Q'uran says Isa (Jesus) was born to the virgin Myriam. Praise be to God! DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm
LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@LuckyDukeSeven Glass houses? Show me one instance where a so-called prophet diddled a child, much less had sex with a 9 year old.
I haven't insulted anyone, have I? But you claim I'm ignorant. You did the insulting, pal. Read what's said. Followers of the pedophile are notorious for reversing claims and slinging personal insults. Decades of research does not produce ignorance. Go study something.
Specially selected why? Because they were eye-witnesses, maybe? Or older ones, led by God to?
DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm

DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm
I just did. In fact, I showed much worse.
LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@LuckyDukeSeven Examine the word. You are against everything Jesus taught and warned against, thus the word ANTI. So yes, the title fits.
Why don't you read the whole passage? I'm not going to defend against an accuser who like your father, the greatest accuser, enjoys doing that which you accuse others of doing: Cherry-picking.
Again, show proof of corruption...I'm still waiting.
DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm
LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@LuckyDukeSeven You made the accusation of corruption, show proof to back your claim. Spouting rhetoric made by other Muhammadans makes no difference to me. Show me something. Put up or shut up. If you can't provide proof, go play somewhere else. I don't debate with children who cannot back their claims. Let me know when you have something.
DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm
LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@LuckyDukeSeven Been there, done that. I don't particularly trust anything the Catholics had anything to do with. (Yes, Muslims aren't the only ones I freely denounce.)
But keep going. When you get something useful, let me know. You're on the right track, but looking in the opposite direction.
DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm
LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@DreadStorm
For a denouncer of Catholics, you certainly seem to maintain their Pagan traditions in your "Trinity" perspective of God, which is absent from the Bible, but still made it into Protestant beliefs.
"God is not a man, that he should lie, nor is God the son of man, that he should change his mind."
"Shema Yisrael, Adonai, Ellohinu Adonai, Echad"
LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@LuckyDukeSeven Not really. There is no trinity. Just one God, though manifest in three persons. There's a difference. And quit straying from the point. Provide the proof of corruption, or go play with your pedophile's books. I have all the patience in the world, so keep taking jabs. Until you provide proof, I'm not going to address any following points. I'm not subscribing to the Muslim habit of redirecting and issuing red herrings. Stick to the point, until you provide me with any proof.
DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm
LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@LuckyDukeSeven I dismiss what you say because you didn't provide solid proof: Proof of the thought that an almighty, all-powerful God cannot prevent his Word from being lost or corrupted. Proof by providing an unmodified version. Proof by doing the research on your own, rather than using suppositions and assumptions made by others.
Proof.
Solid Evidence.
Provide these, or rescind your claim. Simple as that.
DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm
Yet you childishly attack instead of respond.
LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@LuckyDukeSeven Yes, MY Bible. Prove MY Bible is lost and corrupted. My Bible, the Bible your pedophile and his adherents touted as the ultimate authority in your own Qur'an. Therefore, this is your error. I use a Bible compiled from the time when the Pedophile even endorsed it. So the claim that it is corrupt is pointless, groundless and downright unsupportable from a Muslim point of view.

DreadStorm 8 months ago
@LuckyDukeSeven For if you had done your own research, rather than rely on the propaganda of other Muslims, you would see that the Qur'an was little more than a retelling of stories - the Pedophile's versions - of stories he's heard from various peoples and tribes, thrown together in a way to conveniently suit his own prejudices and desires. Any thinking man can see this - I'm surprised you haven't. All throughout history, God warned not to kill, but what's the first thing the Pedo does? Think.
DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm December 25th has its roots in the pagan religion of its time. Even the name "Jesus" is fabricated. Yeshua (or Isa, in Arabic, which more closely resembles his real name) is not a retail opportunity, a Crusade purpose or a name to fling mud with. Thou shalt not have other gods before Me. Xmas has nothing to do with Yeshua's message. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
yowzee 6 months ago
@yowzee What makes you think I even care about Christmas? Or that I even practice it? You assume too much, knowing nothing.
If the name "Jesus" is fabricated as you say, why does it carry so much power? I've seen His name heal the sick and wounded, cast out devils, turn lives around, and most importantly, save souls from hellfire. The moon rock god Allah and his murdering pedophile Muhammad have no such power.
DreadStorm 6 months ago
@DreadStorm The topic is about Christmas. You sound hell-bent and paranoid -- and EXTREMELY ignorant. Yeshua does not live with you or in you.
yowzee 6 months ago
@yowzee Oh, really? Then who does? Are you calling Him a liar, in favor of trusting a murdering pedophile? Take it up with him. But think on that a moment. If Jesus is not within me, who is? Name him.
DreadStorm 6 months ago
@DreadStorm Only the devil has a tongue like yours. The devil is a liar. You have been blinded by rage and an inability to recognize truth because of your desire to conquer and win. Yeshua is the Messiah. You go your way; I go mine -- and you can't say you haven't been warned. Thou shalt have no gods before Me.
yowzee 6 months ago
@yowzee Not rage. Actually, I'm pretty joyous that He saved me. The only rage I have is at the blatant stupidity and gullibility of the human race - but not toward any person in particular, just everyone to a degree. Some more than others. And those that follow the Beast (Islam) and his Antichrist (Mahdi) I find nearly intolerable in the stupidity and gullibility regard.
Wrong. He said "You will have no OTHER gods before Me." You people really don't read anything, do you? The nuance is clear.
DreadStorm 6 months ago

@LuckyDukeSeven Now I say that because you did one thing you should never do - make an assumption. You automatically assumed that, because I'm Christian, I fall into the lump of idolaters and false-goddess worshipers of modern times. I do not. The Bible I use has no chapter and verse separations. The scriptures I use are, in fact, exact copies of the original documents as they were originally handed down. Decades of research has provided me this.
Assumption. So show proof my Bible is corrupt.
DreadStorm 8 months ago
@DreadStorm
LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@LuckyDukeSeven I have no anger nor dissatisfaction within me. Yet another false assumption on your part.
And I call the Pedophile what he was. Jesus was sinless, the Prophets obeyed God's laws. The pedophile-murderer-thief-madman-liar was not in any ream with other Prophets. Calling a spade a spade.
My Bible consists of many books, not just one. And none newer than 250AD or so, save for the Dead Sea Scrolls.
And I saw no disproof. Only copying others opinions.
DreadStorm 8 months ago

You don't fight the Devil be defending or excusing Evil. You fight the Devil, and the antiChrist, be rejecting organizations that have taught you how to defend their ideas. The Council of Nicea, the Men of the Great Assembly. At the helm of them all is the one corrupter. The one who wants to drive you to Hell. The one who wants to make Believers disbelieve (as they have been) because of the Bible's absurdities, and make Believers look as if they were fools.

LuckyDukeSeven 8 months ago
@D1yanaH And you're the accuser, show me proof of YOUR claims. The defense has no obligation to provide proof, it is the accuser that must provide the burden of proof. And I'm not defending anything.

A Muslim may also donate more as an act of voluntary charity (sadaqah), rather than to achieve additional divine reward
wwwsultanorg 1 year ago
@wwwsultanorg "practice of charitable giving"

EgypTPHONIX 1 year ago

KaonNeutre 1 year ago
@wwwsultanorg For a movement that occurs in space, it is difficult to see how else this meaning implied in the word could be rendered other than by employing its original sense, i.e. ROTATION. (Bucaille)
Wow... YOU HAVE to be kidding me!!! A movement in space "necessarily" means "rotation" because it's in space!!!
You cannot be serious!! This is shameful!
KaonNeutre 1 year ago
@wwwsultanorg I understand why meaning can go from white to black for such arguments!!!
The concept of a rotation is understood since the invention of the wheel like 3000 years before Christ. Arabs should be quite retarded in their development if, 3700 years after, they haven't discriminate a rotation from a general movement!!!
