They're all headers!!! lol :-) Chamakh just needs to find his form during the Africa Cup of Nations and then he can start alternating and maybe playing with RVP! He has the potential so Wenger will keep him and persevere with him as he does with all of his players.

In some ways very similir to the the Andy Carroll at Liverpool. Chamakh doesn't work well when he doesn't have quality crosses coming into the box. gervinho and walcott do not cross very well and most of chamakh's play is built around that.

Chamakh is the worst striker I have EVER seen. Wenger must have been on drugs when he bought him. Only reason he scored any goals for us at all is because with Van Persie out our midfield were breaking their backs to give him chances. He only scored 1 in ever 10 chances, and has scored one in his last 32 games. I am shocked we pay this guy a wage. Please Arsenal release him IMMEDIATELY.

@WASP021 i don't think he's a bad striker as you put him to be. compared to how much time he has actually played he's been better than most strikers. i agree he's not totally groomed yet but that because he hasn't been given much opportunity to play lately. i was at first skeptical of him but right now i just feel chamakh should been given more chances, thats when he shines. hopefully he'll start against leeds.

I can even elaborate; he has no pace, he cannot dribble, his passing is limited, he struggles holding the ball up, his heading is poor, his first touch is poor, his shooting is poor. There's no point kidding yourself that he's any good because you have absolutely nothing to back your claim up with. There are loads of strikers who have less time than him and still deliver. Anyway, chamak's had loads of time.

Everyone who is saying that Chamakh needs to play, has got to watch some Arsenal matches. Marouane is slow, he creates nothing by him self and he has a poor shot. He feeds of crosses, which is not our style of play.

Chamakh is a fine footballer, and should perhaps consider a loan-out to a smaller Premier League club. But as I see it know, he is not going to replace Walcott og Gervinho, to make it a 4-4-2. And certainly not van Persie.
