thanks for sharing this video ... What magnificent creatures! I just saw another video of young moose eating watermelon & found it interesting how they go down on their front knees to eat ... I was wondering if the adults do & now I see they indeed do! It's surprising. At the end, it looks like the mother is guiding her calf away ...
thanks for leaving the sprinkler on for me humans...I roam in the eagle river area now but enjoyed your lawn. I did not poop either so thank you again!! :)
Absolutely adorable. Too bad the mother had a broken leg. Seems to have healed as she was down on her knees and was weight-bearing on it. You are lucky to have had such a sight out of your own house. Thanks for sharing.
Oh noooooooo the mother is hurt!! Look at the mothers right front leg. ='( It's broken, or half broken anyway, like it is a big fracture so it's flexing., but not entirly broken off.
I wouldn't say that the Cow was crippled, but she was hurt. Just to let you all know, full grown moose do bend their knees so they can reach the shorter vegitation, they're necks are pretty short for how tall they were. Such a cute video...
I love moose but I've never been able to see one. I've been to Newfoundland Canada and Maine USA. I live in NY and though we have very few moose some have been around where I live but I still haven't seen one ;( THANK YOU for the awesome video. PEACE
That is so cute.

Great video
I notice that the cow is lame on her right front leg.
I hope she heals, since she will need all her strength to get her calf through the winter.

i think its pretty funny how in almost all animals, the mom is with the baby all the time and no dad, kind of like us

Wow overprotective mom. LOL. She pushed the baby away when it got too close because she wasn't sure of what it was.
Her movements going up to it showed she was trying to find out and would defend her baby if she needed to.
Then she decided it was not safe so she pushed the baby away from it for good.
Amazing.
